So on this Tuesday morning, I'm thinking about the kids.
America's school children are working from home.
They're isolated.
Some of them are scared.
Their whole social structure is collapsed.
All of those are bad things. In fact, in some places, they're saying, well, we're not going to go back to school until September.
We're going to wipe out the rest of the school year. Other places are going to open the schools.
So the question is, is there danger to children if the schools do reopen, say, in May?
Well, the statistics show that the virus does not strike under 18-year-old people very often.
The stats are very, very low.
and they change, so I'm not going to put a percentage on it right now, but it is way below 5%.
So for some unknown reason, because nobody's explained it, the COVID virus does not attack
children at the rate it attacks adults. However, the reason that school may not start again
quickly is because of law suits. So say your district opens,
and kids go back and one of them or two of them get COVID.
Well, there's a good chance their parents will sue the school district for a lot of money.
The school districts know this.
So they are being ultra cautious in reopening.
Now this.
