information about the pandemic that you might find very useful. Health records from 5,700 patients hospitalized within the Northwell health system, which has housed the most patients in the country during the pandemic, showed that 94%, a whopping 94% of coronavirus patients had more than one disease other than COVID-19. Now, that information is printed in the Journal of the American Medical Association. The data was taken from March to early April, and it shows that the median age of patients hospitalized is 63 years old. Fifty-three percent of all the patients suffer from hypertension, the most prevalent of the ailments, more than half. In addition, 42 percent of virus patients who had suffered from obesity in the past were hospitalized.

32 percent of all patients suffered from diabetes. The study also revealed that the overwhelming majority of patients who went on ventilators eventually died, and those who did perish often had diabetes.
