Starting point is 00:00:44 On this Wednesday, I'm thinking about Sean Hannity threatening to sue the New York Times, and this is a pretty significant case. That Uber left newspaper accused Hannity of being one of the reasons a man named Joe Joyce contracted the virus and died. Here's a quick timeline. On March 1st, Mr. Joyce and his wife got on a cruise from Florida to Spain. On March 9, Sean Hannity said on air that he was annoyed American people were getting scared unnecessarily. On March 14th, Joe and Jane Joyce returned to America from Barcelona. On March 27th, Joe got sick. And with the virus. And then he died on April 9th. On April 18th, the New York Times printed a column that suggested Sean Hannity had something to do with Joe Joyce's death. So now Hannity is demanding
Starting point is 00:01:42 a retraction. New York Times says, blank you, it's not going to give Hannity one. So Hannity's threatening the suit. This is very much like the Sarah Palin lawsuit. That begins in a New York court on June 22nd when the New York Times linked Ms. Palin to the mass shooting in Arizona. So the New York Times has a lot of problems. In addition, Nicholas Sandman, the Covington Kentucky teenager, is suing the newspaper as well. Now, I despise the New York Times, and you know who I'm rooting for. Enough is enough. Now this.
