Bill O'Reilly here, and I'm warming up. Stand by for the O'Reilly Update Morning Edition,
but first. There was nothing unusual about Linda, a retired school teacher, or her modest stucco home in suburban Florida.
She lived a quiet life on her teacher's pension, and her days were rich with grandchildren and church friends.
Then one morning, Linda was startled awake by sheriff's deputies pounding on her door.
She was served in eviction notice for non-payment of home loans. She knew nothing about it.
Linda was about to become homeless. And in a moment, I'll reveal the rest of her story.
On this Wednesday morning, let's take a look at the airlines because they're going to receive
hundreds of billions of dollars from us, from me and from you, the taxpayers of the United States.
Now, the airlines are essential, and they've been knocked out of the box.
because of the pandemic. And it's not their fault. So I don't object to the federal government
rescuing the airlines with loans and in some cases outright grants. I don't object to that.
However, and this is a big however, if the airlines are going to get the money, they have to do some
things. Number one, if you have booked an airline ticket and you don't want to fly during the
pandemic, the airlines have to refund your money in cash, not a voucher, and they can't give you
a hard time and say you'll get it in a year. You have to get your money now. And the federal
government has to insist. Secondly, while the airlines are grounded, the planes are in the hangers
and to the side, reconfigure the planes so that people don't have to sit.
suffer when they ride on them. It's a scandal that these seats are so close together. You don't have
any room. I'm 6'4. I can't go on any stupid planes. So that has to happen. Make it easier for passengers
to fly comfortably and give cash refunds. You do that, you get the money. Now this. Here's the
rest of Linda's story. She was a victim of home title fraud.
one of the fastest growing crimes in America.
Scammers found her home's title online, forged it.
So it looked like she sold her home.
They took out loans against her house.
She was evicted for unpaid loans.
She never took out.
