So on this Thursday morning, I hold in my hand a letter from a doctor who says, Mr. O'Reilly, would you please suggest to President Trump that he wear a mask as a good example to the American people?

Well, doctor, this is a pretty interesting suggestion, but there are some things you may not know. I am a simple man, as almost everybody knows, and I have a simple observation. Would General George Patton wear a mask if he were in charge of fighting the pandemic? And the answer is no, because you have to send a psychological signal that you are in control, that you will defeat this enemy, wearing a mask while the message may be worthy does not accomplish that. People who come into contact with him are given a temperature check. He's given one ever.
