Bill O'Reilly here and I'm warming up. Stand by for the O'Reilly Update Morning Edition. On this Monday a new survey says more Americans are smoking pot for the first time than ever before. Shocked? Come on. With quasi-legalization all over the place, this is no surprise. But is getting stoned a good thing? I'm a simple man, that's a simple question. I don't think so, but I'm not an expert and I have never used weed in my life. I know I'm boring but I have never used any drug at all to get high. I use aspirin once in a while but that's it. I want to play it safe. I take good care of my physical and mental facilities. I don't want to be inebriated because when that happens, bad things can follow. DUIs, for example, and other very destructive situations. I once knew a guy who smoked pot

every night. He held a job, but he didn't have a girlfriend because he never went out. He just sat there toking. That was his hobby. That was his lifestyle. Now, that is an extreme case. I know. But I go back to my original question. Is getting stoned a good thing for you and for society? Probably not. Now this. That is the Morning O'Reilly Update. More analysis later on.
