A new survey says one-third of American adults are binge drinking because of the COVID madness. Now, that's just an excuse, but if you can't go out, if you can't socialize, if

you're bored, if you're scared, all of these things can be alleviated a bit by getting blasted. All right, so we all know that heavy drinking is an escape. But a third of the population doing this? Now, full disclosure, I don't drink. I know. I know. I know. never have. And, you know, people say, oh, your Irish show, come on, I'm not going to buy into that cliche. The reason I don't drink stems way back to my teenage years when most people start to drink. I played four sports, football, baseball, ice hockey, and basketball. I was always in training. And back then, it was serious. It was no drinking. And I bought into that because they wanted to be good. I always say if I drank, I'd be in the penitentiary, and that's true.

So I stay away. My advice on this COVID thing is, don't get inebriated. It's not a good thing. It may give you to an escape, but try not to do it. Now this.
