On this Wednesday, I am thinking about the build-back better bill and its demise. As you might have heard, Democratic Senator Joe Manchin from West Virginia said he's not going to vote for the $2 trillion-plus bill. Now, most people don't understand what's in this, but it's primarily a giveaway, a progressive giveaway to people who need money and to people who are promoting the Green New Deal. But it is so expensive that almost every economist believes that if the bill had passed, which again, it's not going to, inflation would have been worse.

So Manchin said no. A couple of things. Joe Manchin is going to have to leave the Democratic Party, in my opinion, and he's going to have to switch to being a Republican because the Democrats are never again going to engage with him. Second, this really hurts the Biden administration, not only in the economic realm, but all the progressive causes are now kind of doomed. Packing the Supreme Court, But Manson's never going to go for that. And other very, very far-left proposals are not going to happen. So Republicans are cheering Joe Manchin today. But the nation is in a place where there is so much strife, so much political hatred that even this bill going down is not going to
