Bill O'Reilly here, and I'm warming up from the NRA.R.I.a. Dot net studios in New York. Stand by for the O'Reilly Update morning edition. On this Friday, it is the beginning of Super Bowl weekend. The game on Sunday has the L.A. Rams versus the Cincinnati Bengals. I think most people are rooting for the Bengals. They are the underdog. But the game is not what they call a marquee. match up as last year when you had Tom Brady in the Super Bowl. So I'll watch the game, but I don't really like the National Football League. It is now putting on a halftime show,

as I've reported this week, that features rappers who have espoused, encouraged violence against American police. So what the deuce is wrong with the National Football League? what it comes down to is that most of the players are African-American, and many of them feel very strongly that America is a bad place. And this is reflected in what the National Football League does. Now, I admire any athlete who can make it to the NFL. That is a tremendous achievement. So, I'd like to see no race at all in this. But unfortunately, like almost everything else in our country, pro football has been infected by divisive racial beliefs.

And that is what we are all facing on Super Bowl Sunday. So I'll watch the game, but the Super Bowl show shouldn't be happening. Now this. Let's face it, the U.S. economy is under stress.
