Bill O'Reilly here and I'm warming up from the NRA.R.I.a.D.S. Studios in New York, stand by for the O'Reilly Update morning edition. On this Friday, I don't watch much television. I'd rather read and I'm really busy these days. So I'm not sitting there for hours binge watching. I did watch The Stand and I was disappointed in that program. It was produced by CBS. But I like another CBS show, and it's on tonight, Friday night. It's called Blue Bloods, police drama.

Tom Selleck is the lead. Cass is great. But the reason I like Blue Bloods is one of the few programs that comes at it from a traditional point of view. So the plot is that there's a family all involved with policing. Tom Selleck is the commissioner. Seleck's father is a previous New York City Police Commissioner, the daughter is an assistant district attorney, and there's two cops. That's a little far-fetched, but the way the story is written each week is really excellent because it just mirrors what's going on in real life.

Now, it is a traditional show, a bit conservative, but not message-driven. It skews a little older because older Americans are more traditional. But I'd like the younger people to watch this, because Blue Bloods gives a point of view on policing that is badly needed in this country.
