Does his statement on X offend you? Are you bothered and bewildered or what? Maybe my outrage level is stunted. Perhaps I'm jaded and should be more protective of our constitutional guarantees. But Mr. Musk's disenfammed with CBS News is not even annoying to me. It's expected. CBS doesn't like him, doesn't like Trump, MAGA, or anything else on the right. It is a left-wing organization trying to convince the country the Trump administration is dastardly.

and Mr. Musk is a menace to society. So what? Does anyone care anymore what 60 Minutes says? Prison for news purveyors is not an option, but a mention of it gets people's attention. The sad fact of life is, is that manufactured outrage is now a political and social weapon.
