What do Donald Trump, Andrew Cuomo, and Gavin Newsom all have in common? Here it is. COVID badly hurt them all in a way they could never have foreseen. For Donald Trump, it's the election. He was cruising a year ago. He would have been re-elected on the economy. He was way ahead in the internal polling in both parties. Then COVID

hit. Mr. Trump at first was caught kind of by surprise. He said that COVID would soon be defeated. Then he got COVID himself right before the election. It did him in. Andrew Cuomo, the governor of New York. He was a COVID fighting hero. Remember that? But what the folks did not know was that he ordered senior citizens back into nursing homes in New York State who had COVID, resulting in more than 15,000 deaths. Now, Andrew Cuomo is being vilified and investigated. And how about that Gavin Newsom? He's going to be recalled this year. He may lose his job because California's in a shambles. Governor Newsom locked down the entire state. Killing business people. People out in California are furious. So COVID wrecked Donald Trump, Andrew Cuomo, and Gavin Newsom. Now this.
