President Trump took a victory lap yesterday at the White House, bringing in all his supporters in Congress and his lawyers and thanking them for their loyalty throughout the impeachment process. He also did, you know,

predictably, he smashed Nancy Pelosi and Adam. Schiff, James Comey, and his basic point was that these people are dishonest. He didn't do anything wrong. But he gave his opposition a backhanded compliment that few picked up on. He said, you got to give them credit because they took nothing and brought it to a final vote in the Senate on impeachment.
