The impeachment of President Trump last year, because he made a phone call to the Ukrainian president, asking him to look into possible corruption by Joe Biden and his son, was a fiasco.

Now, Nancy Pelosi and her cadre are saying Donald Trump incited violence last week in the riots at the National Capitol. incited, encouraged? I didn't hear those words from him, and I've read the transcript five times. He quite clearly said he wanted a peaceful demonstration to let Congresspeople and senators know that the folks think the election was rigged. He has a perfect right to say that. Now, the president's mistake, and it was huge, was not going out of his way to tamp down violence. When you have 100,000 angry people, you have to be responsible and tell them not to do anything unlawful. President Trump did not do that, and he and the country are paying an enormous price. But this impeachment thing is just stupid and irresponsible.
