This week we'll see some kind of impeachment action in the Senate, but the verdict from the

court of public opinion is already in. Not relevant. When not a single Republican in the House voted to impeach Donald Trump. The Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, was put on the defensive. 195 congresspeople from the GOP said no to removing Donald Trump, as did three Democrats. Nevertheless, Mrs. Pelosi pressed on. Now, kicking a president out of office is a drastic measure, and fair-minded Americans know that. So this entire exercise has been unwise and unnecessary. There's an election in less than 11 months. Let the American people render a verdict on President Trump.

Now, he has raised $46 million during the last quarter for his re-election campaign. Nancy Pelosi is responsible for some of that money, although she'll never admit it. But if the speaker really wants Donald Trump gone, she had better stop the coup stuff and concentrate on a viable candidate to defeat him, which is not going to be easy.
