Something very disturbing happening this week at the championship college game between LSU and Clemson. President Trump attended the game and sat in a private box with him in the box, but not officially with him, was actor Vince Vaughn. A camera shot showed President Trump and Mr. Vaughn chatting, as anybody would do in the presence of the United States president at a football game. Well, immediately, the far-left Twitter cranks started to threaten Vince Vaughn in vile ways, saying that his career should be, quote, canceled, unquote. Now, this is fascism. Every American, no matter how you feel about President Trump, should object to this. The President of the United States is entitled to respect because of the office he holds. You don't have to like him.

But if you are in his proximity and he says something to you, you answer respectfully, as Ellen DeGeneres did with former president, Bush the Younger. and DeGeneres got it too from the cooks. Mussolini, Stalin, Hitler all did this kind of stuff in their respective countries when they ran them in totalitarian ways. They demonize people with whom they disagree. Vince Vaughn is a good guy and a very talented actor. To threaten his career is awful. Now this.
