On this Monday, I am thinking about the Secretary of Transportation, Pete Buttigieg, because he's doing nothing to stop the U.S. airline chaos. Pete Buttigieg attended Harvard, studied at Oxford in Oxford in England as a Rhodes Scholar. Worked on John Kerry's 2004 presidential campaign as a research specialist, served in the U.S. Navy Reserve, served as the mayor of South Bend between 2012 and

2020. Joe Biden appointed Pete Buttigieg, his transportation czar, in January 2021, a position Pete had no credentials for, none. The biggest decision on transportation, Pete Buttigieg made as mayor was whether to designate a street one way. And now he is watching the U.S. airline industry collapse. And Pete Buttigieg is doing nothing. He could find the airlines for irresponsible customer behavior. He could demand that they do certain things not to punish their customers, but Buttigieg does nothing.
