On this Monday, I am thinking about a conversation I recently had with a very smart liberal woman who is telling me that historical injustice in America means that we have to change everything now. So because we had slavery, because we took land away from Native Americans,

today's capitalistic system and political climate have to be changed. And I said back to her, that's madness, madam. I love that word, madam. And I'm not being condescending, but it is madness. You don't destroy a system that provides opportunities. to millions of people to improve themselves because of historical injustice. That's crazy. There is a reason that at least 20 million people have illegally entered the United States. They want to improve themselves and their lives and their families, and they know they can't do that in places like Honduras, Mexico and Guatemala. So if that's the case, if we are the land of opportunity, why would we disassemble our system that makes that possible? After I made that argument to the lady,
