That means a guy, a father, who intrudes too much into the behavior of the urchins. Now, I have two of them. Now, the beef that my son has is very. benign. He's not mad at me. He's making fun of me. And I try to explain to him, being a father is my primary job, not being a media guy or a author of the best-selling book series in history,

the killing series. That's not my primary job. Being your father is. So the latest situation is that my son and a few of his thug friends, and I use the word thug affectionately, are going to be on their own at our house on Eastern Long Island for a day or two. Now, I got rules. I got rules. So obviously not going to be any drinking or drugging or any of that. Not going to be any girls on the property. That's not happening.

But the primary rule is you are not to go. into the ocean past the break. Because where we live, the ocean is ferocious. And just the other day, a kid drowned. The toe got him and pulled them out. Now, I said to my son, I am trusting you. You can call me a helicopter parent, a 747 parent. I don't care. Do not go past the break in the ocean. Now this.
