Starting point is 00:00:00 Bill O'Reilly here, and I'm warming up. Stand by for the O'Reilly Update Morning Edition. On this Monday, I am here in Florida, checking out the Sunshine State, which is on a role, as they say. This week, I'll be on vacation, but I never really am on vacation. I'm always kind of tooling around, looking at the landscape, assessing situations, talking to people, and there has been, as everybody knows, a tremendous migration to the state of Florida. Now, I used to be a Florida resident.
Starting point is 00:00:36 I taught high school in a suburb of Miami, actually a ghetto of Miami, and I enjoyed my experience in Florida very much, including the teaching portion in Opa Laca. Then I returned to Miami to cover the wars in El Salvador and the conflict down in Argentina over the Falkland Islands. That was base.
Starting point is 00:01:02 I was very rarely there. I was running around Central and South America. Tremendous educational experience, by the way. Back then, Florida was kind of a sleepy place. Now, I think it's the most vibrant state in the Union, and that's because of the low taxation, a lot of opportunities, and a government, state government, that basically says, we're not going to be woke.
Starting point is 00:01:30 So the combination is a magnet for people who are disenchanted with high taxation, crazy crime, on and on. So I'm going to enjoy my week in Florida. I have plenty of sunblock, and I'll report when I get back. Now this.
