Bill O'Reilly here, and I'm warming up from the NRA.R.I.a. Dot net studios in New York. Stand by for the O'Reilly Update Morning Edition. On this Friday, I will not watch the Academy Awards on Sunday night. If you do watch, please let me know how the show is. First, some stats. The first award ceremony of the Oscars took place on May 16th, 1929. Viewership in 2001, 11 years ago, 43 million people watched the Oscar telecast. Last year, 10 million. That's down 75%. Why? Hollywood has collapsed under the weight of woke.

Now, this year, the best picture nominees are Nightmare Alley, don't look up, Dune, drive my car, Belfast, Liquorice Pizza, Power of the Dog, West Side Story, King Richard, and Coda. All of those movies earned less than a million dollars their first opening weekend. I haven't seen any of them complete. I tried to watch West Side Story and Nightmare Alley. I couldn't get through them. They were too dull for me. Now, it used to be that big, big stars like Bob Hope, Johnny Carson, hosted the Academy

a war telecast. Now, nobody wants to do it. They can't get big names to host the show because this thing is so inconsequential. If you do watch the Oscars, have fun, and let me know how it goes.
