On this Thursday off the Chris Rock Will Smith debacle, what most people do not realize is that fame is something that can destroy you. I'm a little bit famous, and I wanted to be famous. I worked hard to acquire fame. The upside is, I can help people with my money and influence, and I like to do that. The downside is lots of folks want to hurt me, and some have succeeded.

That, of course, hurts my family. I know many famous people, and it's about 50-50.
