net. American financing NMLS.182334 NMLS Consumer Access.org. On Sunday, the newspapers in New York
City screamed the headline, state of emergency. Of course, it was dealing with the coronavirus.
Now, if people weren't panicked enough by the nonstop media coverage of death and doom, this headline
really put it to them. But what does a state of emergency really mean? It's a bureaucratic thing.
It gives the governors of New York State and for others the power to buy stuff, supplies,
things like that. They can order medical personnel to do certain things. They can get
testing kits. They can do a variety of things very quickly through executive
order. That's what a state of emergency is. It isn't people going from house to house to see
if you have a headache. But this isn't very well explained by the media who is making a fortune
hyping the coronavirus. Now, I'm not trying to diminish the superflu, which is really what it is.
It's a super flu that's spread by airborne. So somebody sneezes, stuff gets into the air,
you breathe it, you might be able to get it. That's tough. That's a tough disease.
But the way they're portraying is like, oh, my heavens, this is going to be the end.
And people tune in to watch the television news and they buy the newspapers to hear what the state of emergency is.
All I can tell you is to remain calm.
The coronavirus will subside.
