On this Monday, I am watching movie receipts from Norway, which recently opened its theaters. Film going very big in this nation of $5.5 million because the average yearly temperature is cold, very cold. Reindeer wear down jackets. Anyway, COVID closed the movies in Scandinavia except for Sweden, as it has done in many countries, including the USA. And it will be interesting to see if Norwegians do go back to the cinemas, as they are called in Oslo. Patrons have to sit apart unless you're in a family. If you're in a family, you can sit together. Popcorn pre-packaged, encouraging people, to wear masks, but they're not mandatory in the theater. If Norwegians do begin watching flicks in the theaters again, that will be an excellent sign, especially if the contagion does

not uptick. However, film choices will be limited as Hollywood is basically shut down and the movie industry devastated across the board. The huge talent agency, William Morris, Endeavor, owes $4.5 billion, and may have to declare bankruptcy. Despite that, according to Variety, the boss Ari Emanuel, apparently received $160 million from the company seven months ago. How does that happen? Sounds like a good movie. Anyway, good luck to Norway. We all. need to go back to the movies. Now this.
