Starting point is 00:00:38 On this Friday, if you have any friends or acquaintances that like communism, all you need to do is point to Cuba. It is an impoverished nation. 90% of the people there cannot really make a living. Government has to hand out ration cards for food, energy, things like that. And this has been going on since 1959. No progress in Cuba, a communist country. So why would anyone want to impose communism anywhere, including America? But we have a growing socialist and communist movement here.
Starting point is 00:01:27 It is based on an enormous government giving. people who don't have very much free stuff. You've heard it before. That has an attraction for people who do not want to compete in a capitalistic society, where you have to earn your way. You have to go to work, perform well, and sometimes do better than your neighbor. you are not sharing the land as the 1960s philosophy once espowed. Cuba is a disaster. So is communism. Back in a moment.
Starting point is 00:02:20 That is the morning O'Reilly update. More analysis later on.
