Bill O'Reilly here and I'm warming up. Stand by for the O'Reilly Update Morning Edition. On this Wednesday, if the Puritans had a crystal ball, they might have insisted the Mayflower turn around and head back to Mary Old England, which wasn't very merry at all. In fact, it was downright chilly to anyone who didn't sing with the king. No way the fanatically religious Puritans were singing with anyone. In 1622, Massachusetts, things are kind of dark and foreboding. A little like today, lots of angst and confusion in the air.

Not a lot of tranquility and understanding. Half of the Mayflower passengers died within a year of disembarking. Life was very tough. Food scarce, no central heating, challenges everywhere.
