Starting point is 00:00:00 Bill O'Reilly here, and I'm warming up from the NRA.R.I.a. Dot net studios in New York. Stand by for the O'Reilly Update morning edition. On this Friday, I am digesting a new report from a global tech company that says the average American checks his or her cell phone 96 times a day. That's once every 10 minutes and a 20% increase from just two years ago. The data says 18 to 24-year-olds checked the most. Now, I believe that report, because it's obvious many of us are addicted to the cell phone, as it provides pretty much everything we need, music, video, social interaction with other phone users, and endless information. Want to know the population of Botswana? Phone check, please.
Starting point is 00:00:49 Elvis's middle name? The cell phone has it all. Well, almost all. What the phone does not have is empathy. It is a cold machine, and so are a good number of folks who use it. Don't believe me, check out the Twitter trolls who delight in anonymously hurting human beings using their machine. Used to be, you'd have to confront a person face-to-face in order to insult them, and then you'd risk a karate chop if you did that. Now you can hide in your basement. Because of the cell phones, people are reading fewer books, watching fewer plays and TV shows, and conversing with the spoken word far less. The thumb, not the tongue, has become the primary communication driver. Cell phones have changed everything, but there will be a price for that down the road.
Starting point is 00:01:50 Now this. Let's face it, the U.S. economy is under stress. National debt rising, trade war, shaking the markets. And meanwhile, China is dumping the dollar and stockpiling gold. That's why I protected my savings with physical gold and silver through the only dealer I trust, American Hartford Gold. And you can do this. Get precious metals delivered to your door or place in a tax advantage, gold IRA. They'll even help you roll over your existing IRA or 401K.
Starting point is 00:02:26 tax and penalty-free. With billions in precious metals delivered thousands of five-star reviews, and an A-plus from the Better Business Bureau, you can trust American Hartford Gold as I do. Please call 866-326-55-7576, or text bill to 99-8899. Again, that's 866-326-5-7576, or text bill to 99-89-8-9-8-8-6. Again, that's 866-326-5576-5576 or text bill to 998899. That is the morning O'Reilly update. More analysis later on.
