Bill O'Reilly here, and I'm warming up from the NRA.R.I.a.D.S. Studios in New York. Stand by for the O'Reilly Update morning edition. On this Friday, let's talk about slackers, folks who don't want to work or contribute to this country. We all know people like that. And the Democratic Party is trying to enable them in a variety of ways by giving slack. by giving slackers money, food, housing, you name it. I don't like this. There have to be safety nets.

Some Americans cannot support themselves for a variety of reasons, and we cannot let them go down. But the safety nets have been in place since Franklin Roosevelt invented them in the 1930s. and they should be strengthened. Again, some Americans, through no fault of their own, are in dire circumstances, and we owe those citizens protection. But for people who don't want to work, I'm sorry, I don't want to give you my tax dollars. Every city in this country needs workers. Yet, 4.3 million slackers left their jobs in August. Now, some of them will get new jobs, and that's fine. You don't like your job, leave it.

But a lot of them won't. They'll just put their hand out, and the Democrats will put money in it. Again, that hurts America. Now this. Let's face it, the U.S. economy is underst stress.
