On this Tuesday writing in the Washington Post, Margaret Sullivan, a columnist, lists a long countdown of how badly she has been treated by supporters of Donald Trump. Now, I have no doubt it's true

because in six years at the Post, I have not seen one positive thing the woman has ever written about the former president or his entire administration, not one. Apparently, Trump did nothing right in four years and deserves continuing scorn and denigration, as do all of his supporters. Then, the always amusing George Clooney tells Chris Wallace how cruel Republicans really. are. Nothing good about them, Georgie says. Nothing at all. I fully realize that any semblance of fairness has been wiped out in the ideological media, and the right can get ultra nasty. No question about it. But there's no comparison to the hatred on the left, which Sullivan and Clooney totally ignore. Why? Because they're ideologues. And they hate Donald.

Trump. It's just the way it is. And it's especially troubling because Donald Trump may run for president again in 2024.
