On this Wednesday, historian John Meacham now takes a paycheck from MSNBC, so you know he's going to bash Donald Trump at every opportunity. Less than 24 hours after Colin Powell passed, there was Meacham, using the general's death to say, things about Mr. Trump. How can this pass for responsible commentary? I'm asking you, NBC News. I guess it really is true that all journalistic standards have vanished. Unfortunately, Donald Trump himself was less than graceful in his own comments about General Powell. Speaking ill of the dead used to be scorned in this country, unless the person was a proven villain.
