On this Friday, I am sad that tomorrow our country has to once again endure the horror of 9-11. It is our patriotic duty to remember all the innocent people killed by the evil jihadists, and we have an obligation to remember and to try to help those directly affected by the terror attack 20 years ago. In my town on Long Island, dozens of people were murdered, and I watched their children grow up without them. I help a charity called Tuesday's children, and I do what I can to help with the ongoing pain.

And that is something very important to remember on the anniversary of 9-11, that no matter how much time passes, if a loved one of yours is murdered, not only in a terror attack, but in any other circumstance, that pain never goes away, and it affects everybody differently. I know that people in pain need consolation. and they need to talk about it. And I'm available to do that in my town. The other point that we should think about tomorrow, evil must be confronted.
