Bill O'Reilly here and I'm warming up from the NRIA.net Studios in New York.
Stand by for the O'Reilly Update Morning Edition.
On this Tuesday, I had a negative reaction to a 9-11 event and I was wrong.
Singer Bruce Springsteen performed honoring the Americans' Kilt.
When I first heard that, I felt a negative reaction, emotion.
I do not respect Springsteen in general because his far left posture is poorly thought out
and he embraces propaganda in my opinion. However, in this case, the singer was doing good.
Many people love him and he was showing respect to all those suffering.
So I was misguided in reacting negatively to Bruce Springsteen singing to honor the 9-11 families.
I quickly corrected myself, but it unsettled me. I consider myself a fair man.
Again, I don't really have much regard for Mr. Springsteen's political posture because he peddles propaganda, and he's done it for years.
But I was disappointed in my thought process.
I should have put things into perspective.
The lesson for me, reflection is a good thing.
So sorry, Bruce, rock on.
