On this Friday, I am thinking about a contagion that is hitting the nation's college campuses,
and it has nothing to do with COVID.
No, this illness is a mental malady that I call Virtu-Itis.
it's extremely contagious and malevolent. Students beware. According to reporting by law professor
Jonathan Turley, a number of college administrators and professors have caught virtuitis.
Turley quotes a Northwestern Law School dean who opened a recent diversity event by saying, quote,
I'm Jim Spetta and I am a racist. Another Northwestern college official, Emily Mullen, topped that by saying, quote,
I am a racist and I am a guardian of white supremacy. I will work to do better, unquote.
Well, that's nice, Emily. Self-improvement is a positive thing, but perhaps you might want to improve
in another area. Stop being a pinhead for the sake of Northwestern students who pay a ton of money
to attend your school. If Spetta and Ms. Mullen are indeed racist, they should resign immediately
and go to racist rehab if they have such a thing.
But please, enough, enough of this insane everybody's erasist stuff.
LeBron James might dig it, but most Americans don't.
Cease and desist with the virtueitis.
Now this.
