Bill O'Reilly here, and I'm warming up from the NRA.R.I.a. Dot net studios in New York. Stand by for the O'Reilly Update morning edition. On this Thursday, once again, I had major trouble watching coverage of President Biden's Afghanistan address. Obviously, I know that the liberal networks will de-emphasize the national embarrassment in Afghanistan. and the conservative crews will pound Mr. Biden into pudding. We all know that. But it is the lack of knowledge by many TV pundits and anchor people that is especially annoying to me. When I first began the cable news explosion about 25 years ago, I had a group of

people available to me to put on the air, folks like Charles Crouthammer, Britt Hume. These guys, and some women as well, understood the world. They were brilliant. They had experience, and so did I. Now, Mr. Hume is still around, but Charles, unfortunately, passed away. And the people who are now stepping up to replace the TV icons don't know very much, generally speaking. They say the same things over and over and over. You can see that their stuff is written for them by other people, a lot like Joe Biden. So I can't watch it anymore.
