On this Tuesday, I'm thinking Donald Trump's decision to ban some media outlets from the White House is a split decision. The president has deep-six CNN, MS now, and Politico from covering him on federal property. Those agencies join the Associated Press, which was banished last year. That case is still being litigated in a First Amendment situation. Here's some perspective.

President Trump knows the fix is in. A few days ago, the Census Bureau released data, saying the median household income in the USA is at a record high, and poverty is at its lowest level since the census began tracking it. Pretty good story, right? CNN did not do a segment on it, nor did Politico or MS. Total blackout. The founding fathers wanted freedom of information in very necessary situation in order to have a responsible electorate. But today the media is aligned with the Democratic Party, generally

speaking, is a free press that openly works for political movements protected by the First Amendment? Apparently so. The Supreme Court will have to decide the access question, but I can't see it altering press tradition. We are dealing with a massive media corruption situation, and everybody should understand this.
