But first.
Let's face it, the U.S. economy is under stress.

On this Friday, I am sad at the decline of fairness and decency in America.
In Louisville, Kentucky, a young woman, Brianna Taylor, was shot dead by police and a botched drug
raid a few months ago. A grand jury has come back and charged one police officer with three counts
of wanton endangerment. If convicted, the man could be sentenced to 15 years in prison. Now,
the case is very complicated, but that is not stopping people on TV and radio from convicting
or acquitting the officer charged without any direct knowledge of the evidence. I mean, think about it.
These nitwits on TV and radio are not waiting for the trial.
They somehow know exactly what went down and are more than pleased to render a judgment,
sometimes provoking violence in the streets.
Grossly irresponsible doesn't even begin to cover that.
The far-left morons on CNN and MSNBC don't care a wit if they incite violence.
They are exploiting the brutal death of a young woman.
for their own purposes. On the other side, you don't exonerate until you hear from all the
witnesses. This comes under the heading of due process. What happened to basic fairness? Why don't
fair-minded people turn the charlatans off? The simple answer is, many of us are not fair-minded at
all. We like taking sides, even if we can't possibly know the truth.
Now this.
Power, politics, and the people behind the headlines.
