I'm Bill O'Reilly. You're listening to Around the World. Let's begin. Now, I don't
I usually pick on movie stars or athletes or people that do not do news analysis for a living.
It might be their hobby, but why do I want to get all riled up about what they say?
I don't.
And it's not important to you or your life or the country, but it is an expression issue.
and therefore I just kind of let it flutter in the breeze.
But Robert De Niro is an exception.
And De Niro has gone on a hate campaign that I think it's the worst
in entertainment history against President Trump.
Some facts.
So De Niro, according to a variety of reporting,
it's worth $500 million.
$500 million.
The guy is obviously in very successful films
like The Godfather 2 and a bunch of others.
He's a brilliant actor. There's no question he is.
Two Academy Awards, nine nominations,
four Emmys, on and on and on.
He made his off-screen money or off-stage money
selling vodka. Never really liked that.
V-D-K-A.
is his company. But he owns Nobu restaurants along with another guy and the Tribeca
Grill in New York City and on and on and on. So this guy is super wealthy. Now in 2011,
it started because Donald Trump was demanding to see Barack Obama's birth certificate.
You remember that. I actually scolded the president for that. And De Niro loves,
Barack Obama. So he went after Trump. And it wasn't a big deal at the time, but I noted it,
and a bunch of others noted it, that there was a meanness, a hatred in De Niro's presentation.
That has continued on. Here's an example.
I can't love a country that takes health care away from millions of people and uses that money
to enrich their pals in the Trump Epstein class.
I can't love a country that sends out mass militias to shoot citizens in the streets,
torture our neighbors, and separate families.
I can't love a country that's led by a racist, misogynist, and a phobic tyrant.
And let me just say it, I can't love the country that's led by Donald Trump and a psychophant Congress.
Well, it's sick offense, Bob, but that's okay.
You know, I never thought I'd say this, but Mr. Niro should leave, leave the United States and go somewhere else.
Now, this is just pure propaganda.
I'll just run it down, okay?
So a country that takes health care away from millions of people, nobody's taking any health care away from anybody.
All there is is legislation requiring somebody between a certain age to look for work or volunteer as local church.
or library, wherever or her, and do something.
Not that taking health care away?
If you're medically incapacitated, that doesn't apply to you.
And the health care system is the health care system.
We don't have government-run health care system.
We're not a socialist country.
That's what De Niro wants.
So that's number one.
And uses money to enrich their pals in a Trump-Ebbstein class.
That's just a smear.
It's just a smear.
Okay?
De Niro, that's about as low as you go.
That's gutter sniping.
I can't love a country that sends out mass militias to shoot citizens.
So like in the morning they have a meeting and let's go shoot citizens.
You know, I mean, the stupidity of this is just shocking.
And he was reading it.
DeMiro was reading all that stuff.
Somebody wrote it for him.
Now, again, he has a right to do it, and I have a right to retort, as I am doing now.
I met De Niro one time.
It was at a benefit for the Robert F. Kennedy Foundation.
I was talking to Ethel Kennedy, very nice woman, and he showed up, and I could tell that there
was somebody behind me because Ethel's eyes were kind of darting, and I turned a
around and there he was. And Mrs. Kennedy said, oh, Bob, do you know Bill O'Reilly? And De Niro went, poof.
You know, an insulting gesture. Whereupon I arose from my chair, all six foot four of me,
and I said to him, very close, problem, and he scurried away. Now, would I have hit him?
But if he had continued to insult me, and I would have excused myself from Ethel Kennedy's presence,
should need to see this, I would have laid him out verbally because he's ready to get that.
Now, what happens is that Robert De Niro is in a bubble, a $500 million bubble, and he lives in New York City,
and he is, I think, a place in LA.
And all he hangs around with the people who hate Trump.
That's it.
He would never consider, if you didn't hate Trump,
then you would not be worthy to be in De Niro's presence.
That's how arrogant this whole thing is.
I can remember Barack Obama.
I like him.
I wrote a book confronting the president.
So I think he did the best he could do.
You know, is his philosophy the same as mine?
No.
He leaned socialist.
De Niro's a full-blown socialist until they come for his money into wealth tax and then we see what he does.
Okay.
So, but I didn't know anybody who hated Barack Obama.
There were people.
I got letters.
Okay.
But none of the people that I associate with, and there are a lot of them, was hating on Barack Obama.
been in like his politics, but it wasn't like personal.
That's really personal.
Okay, and it's just stupid.
All right, racist, misogynist, xenophobic, tyrant.
You know, it's ridiculous.
It's just ridiculous.
And De Niro and others, not just him, they're proud of this.
This is what really gets me.
They're proud of it.
So 4th July is coming and he goes, I can't love a country.
I can't love a country that did, you know, it's basically saying, look, because Trump was
elected, I can't love the country.
Leave, Bob.
You got 500 million bucks.
Go to Paraguay.
They'll be happy to see you.
All right.
American love it to leave it was the Vietnam slogan.
And I never bought into it.
I like dissent.
All right.
But Bob De Niro, making an exception.
Leave.
I'll buy your ticket out of here
because you're a destructive, hateful person.
And that is a truth.
Listen to me as I join News Nation.
Bill, I've never wanted to be more wrong about something in my entire life,
and I'm really hoping you will help me here.
Well, I don't know if I can help you about you,
but I can give you perspective.
So I wrote a column on Sunday yesterday,
and I'm having trouble with this dopey machine,
so if you hear somebody go, O'Reilly's an idiot.
It's coming out of this machine.
Can't turn it off.
I can't do anything on Luddite.
So I wrote a column and it said, look, things change in war.
And that's what everybody is missing here.
So when you start a war, as we did,
and it was a noble gesture,
you try to protect us and the world
from a nuclear weapon that a terror state almost surely had.
Okay.
Now, some people don't believe that.
Our pal, Chris Cuomo, doesn't believe they had it.
But the evidence is so overwhelming that they were close
that a guy like Trump is basically saying,
look, we're not going to take the chance.
We want this regime changed anyway.
So we're going to start a war, and they did.
Once you start a war, and I said at the very beginning, unintended consequences roll in, things that you never anticipated.
One major error by the Pentagon was they did not war game the street of war moves.
I can't explain it.
Nobody knows why they didn't.
But certainly that should have been taken into account when you say, well, if we don't get regime,
change, if the mullers tough it out, they're going to try to strangle the world economy
by screwing up the Strait of Hormuz. What do we do? And then we do. You don't have it.
That's a strategic error. And we make them all the time. We made them in Vietnam. We made
them in World War II. We made them in Korea. Anybody in that war scenario is going to make them.
And again, I'll go back to our friend Chris, who was commentating on the school that the girls were killed in, all right, in the beginning of this conflict.
Well, every single modern war has casualties like that.
A guy in the Pentagon did not wake up that morning and said, I'm going to kill school girls in Iran.
That didn't happen.
What happened was there was a mass bombing to destabilize the infrastructure of that country.
And it's going to happen again because President Trump has two options now.
He's trying to save his legacy, excuse me, and he's trying to right the economy so that the Democrats don't win in November.
That's his accomplishment now.
He's got two options.
one is that inspectors go in
to look and see what the nuke situation is.
And that's what Vance was saying today,
and the president backed it up on social media and saying,
look, this is a negotiable.
We're going to either do that
or we're going to launch more military action.
That's it.
There's nothing else.
Okay?
So the moz, you know, let the inspectors in,
or we're going to have to bomb them again.
If we bomb them, more school girls are going to be killed.
This is what war is.
I don't justify it.
It's horrible.
But if you think in this age where you're using the most powerful weapons on earth
that civilians aren't going to be affected, you're crazy.
They are.
And so the mullahs have been presented with that.
This is it.
This is your take.
You'll let the weapons inspectors in,
and why you wouldn't do that is beyond me.
Okay, even if you have dukes,
nobody's going to do anything to you.
It's going to take them away, okay?
But you still want your people to go through this?
It's unfathomable.
So that's where we are right now.
It's not a matter of right or wrong,
or I miss assess in the beginning.
It's a matter of war is fluid.
But, Bill, let me just push back.
on this for a second, okay? On this question of the inspectors, there were inspectors
there as recently as Operation Midnight Hammer, right? These inspectors do absolutely nothing,
as far as I can tell, because they were able to keep enriching uranium. But I think,
more importantly, the thing that I think is so horrifying to me about this MOU and what I think
just happened is that Iran has moved the theater of war from the question of ballistics,
and nukes to the economic front.
It has realized that the Strait of Hormuz is even more powerful, dare I say it, than a nuclear
weapon because there's no mutually assured destruction.
It has shown the world.
It can withstand that pressure because it doesn't care about its schoolgirls and it doesn't
care about its citizens and it doesn't care about economic collapse.
But we do.
We can't even sustain a dollar more a gallon for gas.
And so it has moved the whole theater of war to the place.
where it has complete supremacy.
And I just don't see what do we have left to negotiate with
because they don't care about being bombed,
they don't care about having the straight clothes,
and I don't see what we can offer them
that is better than what they realize they already have,
which is the ability to charge tolls on the straight of Hormuz,
and nobody will fight them on that front.
I don't know about that toll business.
But you're right, they don't care about their own people.
But Trump will obliterate their infrastructure.
That's what's going to happen.
And that'll be almost impossible for the mullos to recover from that.
It'll be done from the air.
It'll be blown up.
And it'll be a savage response.
As far as the weapons inspectors, the last time,
they were even close, Bacha.
To examining uranium was 2019.
Okay?
Trump was in office
and he didn't like the Obama deal anyway
for that very reason.
There was no verification.
In 2019,
when the Austrian inspectors got in,
they saw
that Iran had violated the Obama deal
and it was public.
They published it.
Okay?
That they mullers.
violated the deal with the United States.
That drove Trump nuts.
And that's why this whole thing happened.
Because Netanyahu of Israel said,
look, we got a chance to get their leadership all in one swoop.
And maybe they'll get overthrown of people to rise up.
People didn't rise up because they were killing them at a rate that was horrifying.
The moles are killing your own people.
And so that didn't happen.
So then you've got to switch to plan B.
And then plan B was, okay, what Iran has figured out is they can probably cause a worldwide depression by all this stuff in Hormuz.
And I don't know the extent of the Trump administration's knowledge of that potential before they took the initial action.
I don't know.
What would the correct way to prepare for that have been?
And I keep asking people this, what would the right way have been to prepare for the closure of the Strait of Hormuz?
Because we're going to have to deal with this again in 60 days or in six months or whatever.
They're never going to make a deal with us.
What is the right thing to do in future?
Well, I think they'll make a deal with us, but they probably won't uphold the deal.
Because there's a lot of money attached to, and the Iranians need money to rebuild their country, which Trump can take out in 48 hours.
And Trump knows that.
In hindsight, I would have sent Marco Rubio, Secretary of State, to all the EU countries to China and to India.
And in a high-level meeting, say, this is going to happen.
And we need your support.
And then you couldn't pinpoint to the American people, hey, we're going to bond the Muellers tomorrow,
because then the Mullas wouldn't be there.
That was a secret mission.
That was a mission nobody knew about it.
You can't publicize it.
But in the run-up to it,
you could have sent Rubio over there
and say something big's going to happen.
When it happens, we hope you're on our team.
We're going to need you.
And, you know, you give them a little information,
but not a lot.
But people don't understand war about you.
And if it's going to go wrong, it's like Murphy, okay, the Irishman.
It's going to go wrong, it's going to go wrong.
Okay?
And that's what happened in Iran.
They didn't war game the Hormuz.
They could have.
And now we've got to deal with that.
But I'm more confident tonight than I have been because the window is so tight on these mullahs now.
they either are going to let the inspectors in
or they're going to get blown to hell.
Trump would use another profanity, but he'll do it.
I hope you're right, because he's promised to do it many times
and hasn't followed through.
I know that.
God bless you and protect you.
And one more thing, one more thing.
The reason that he promised so many times
because he doesn't want to do it.
I know. I agree with that.
And I think that that's noble.
I also don't want him to do it or have to do it.
do it. Bill O'Ready, thank you so much for joining us.
Here's my weekly appearance with WOR's, Mark Simone.
Hey, what is ABC, the network? They're running these commercials all over ABC TV about the
FCC is trying to shut us down. What the hell are they talking about?
Yeah, I was surprised that Disney took this tact. They're trying to convince ABC viewers that the
government wants to program ABC, and they've taken out a whole bunch of stuff on W-A-B-C TV and New York
and their other owned affiliated stations.
I was surprised.
I mean, why do you want to continue to antagonize the Trump administration?
What people don't understand is this.
The four networks per se, ABC, CBS, NBC, and PBS, and PBS.
they use the public airways.
So we pay, we the people, we pay for their corporations.
Now, Cable doesn't, because Cable is something that you choose to buy or any of the social media stuff.
You choose it.
I want this, here's my money, and then it comes into your house.
Not the big four.
So the government has some regulation over those four operations.
And for Disney to say that it's a public service of Trump assassins,
and I mean that in a figurative way, not literally,
but every day they come in and they try to tear them up.
You know, if Disney's saying, you know, I don't mind you tearing them up,
but we're going to have somebody that supports them too.
The federal government, the FCC, is saying, this is an abuse.
You're taking the taxpayer money, using the airwaves that are public, political party, and states it.
And that's what the controversy is all about.
Yeah.
Hey, also the view, they're trying to get themselves declared a news program.
Well, they are a news program under the Disney banner because of Barbara Walters.
So Barbara Walters was the exact producer of The View, and she was a bona fide.
Lapte's show under the budget.
It's all about money of ABC News.
They pay Barbara's salary.
They pay any travel, all of that at the very beginning.
Ms. Walters passed.
Then the loon, now it's crazy land there.
And again...
It used to be a normal balance show.
You were on that many times, weren't you?
They used to have you on.
And other...
Yeah.
I had no problem as once Walters was there.
Whoopi Goldberg once sent me flowers because she liked something I said.
Bayhar has always been a problem.
Nasty.
Absolutely nasty.
That we give another side to it.
Of course, Goldberg and Bayhar walked off the stage when I was on the program.
I forgot about that.
At least I got.
So, hey, what's happening in the UK, the Prime Minister out?
Now, what does this mean for the rest of us?
So I went over to London three weeks ago to do a special for News Nation entitled
The Siege of London could be the siege of the UK.
What is all about is a country that includes 70 million people.
70 million people now is about 15, 20%.
Nothing.
What?
You just walked a parking line.
I've never seen that and I've been to 86 countries.
No one in North Africa and Pakistan and that area of South Asia have come to England.
one. But here's the Midlands of two weeks. You can't see your doctor for two months now.
On nuts. 60 Sharia courts in UK now. 6-0 Sharia courts. There's civil courts. But that means
you can marry your cousin, you know, you can do all. Nobody's seen anything like it. That's
way back. So the prime minister's out, does this mean this is the beginning of the end of all this
nonsense?
No, they should know.
Oh, crazy.
Where they're going to fad migrant deportation
those countries,
giving away everything,
and when you have millions of migrants
coming in, then you avoid as
much as they used to get.
So, but if he,
let's say Nigel Farage gets in
and he finds himself a Tom Homan type,
they can fix it at some
point. Being court, it would take
forever, they'd be
high. This is very upsetting. Well, Bill O'Reilly,
We're out of time.
Here's my News Nation appearance with Leland Vitter.
Do we need rally mode Trump, or do we need President Trump,
Americana Trump tonight?
Well, I'd like to get some precision in the president's speech.
I don't think it's fair to say that he's making it all about him.
So the president, like every other president we've ever had,
has certain priorities.
And one of those priorities is
cleaning up the election cycle
and making sure
that Congress passes a law
that reinforces the Constitution
that says if you're not born,
if you're not an American citizen here,
can't vote.
So that's number one on a hit parade
as far as domestic is concerned.
And I don't begrudge him that.
I think that's a good thing to have.
I mean, the housing,
can do any time and he'll do it, it'll get done.
He wanted to make a point today.
On the Iranian thing, what was that?
He wanted to make a point today.
Let's stick with the Save America Act.
We'll get to Iran.
We got a few minutes before the president comes out.
It looks like Transportation Secretary Duffy there.
They don't have the seal yet up on the podium.
But let's stick now with this domestic issue because I think it's an important thing.
The Save America Act, voter ID, a lot of other things.
The shenanigans in California, when you write the rules, you don't have to cheat.
Cheating's legal then, proved why this would be so important,
proves why Democrats are so scared of it.
But there's a lot of Republicans who aren't willing to give it to them.
For example, here is a number of them talking today after the lunch.
He did call some people out for voting against the War Powers Act.
The president was, and he is mad as a murder horn about the war powers.
The president closed by preaching unity, but he spent the entire hour talking about things which were not exactly unified.
He did not particularly care for my comments.
Raised his voice.
I lost my temper.
That's not appropriate.
It's the Irishman.
But I, again, matched his tone and his vibe.
And it went back and forth.
That's the Irish in me, I thought, was the part that I pulled out of that.
Two of the last men really have a problem with Trump personally.
But Speaker Johnson said this.
I'll just read it when asked about the cancellation.
He's laser-focused on Save America as most common-sense Americans are.
I talk to a lot of Americans, Bill, spent a lot of time outside of D.C.
None of them are talking to me about the Save America Act.
Is this where the American people's priorities are?
Well, I don't know if they know about it.
You know, we all think when we're in the media that,
Everybody follows this stuff on a day-to-day and they don't.
This is a big, important piece of legislation to have foreigners voting in American elections
of violation of the Constitution.
Period.
It's not that you're for or against.
That's what it says.
And Trump wants to enforce that based upon his own experience.
Nothing wrong with that.
All right?
Now, as far as the Republicans are concerned, it's more about the War Powers Act.
So Donald Trump doesn't want to be constrained by a senator from Louisiana.
He doesn't.
And he gets teed off if he feels that that's what's in play.
Now, I'm kind of neutral on the War Powers Act.
I don't really care because it means nothing.
President Trump be able to do what he wants in Iran, no matter what the War Powers Act says.
So it's not a big deal of me.
I'm a realistic kind of guy.
Trump will carry on that conflict until it reaches critical mass.
Okay, so my question, though, is where is Trump vis-a-vis the American people?
He's fighting with everybody, gas prices are down, stock markets up.
We said that.
Is that enough?
Is it enough for what?
Is it enough to turn the president's poll numbers around?
He's going to come out tonight.
He's going to be in rally mode.
That's just who he is when he is.
He gets in front of a crowd like this.
We know what he's going to say effectively about how great everything's been and how terrible
the Democrats are.
And he's going to get angry about a couple of things when he does this.
Does the American people, is he matching the tone of the American people?
You know, that's a tough question.
The American people want relief, economic relief, number one.
The more of that he can offer them in this speech, the better for the Republican Party in Donald
Trump.
That's number one. If I were him, I'd have a sheet of priorities. So they want relief from the gas prices, and the gas is going down, big time.
But again, most people, they don't see it because the greedy oil companies aren't coming down as quickly as the worldwide market.
All right, so very precisely, if I were the president, I'd say in the last week, this is what's happened.
And we're going to make sure that the retailers in the American oil industry follow suit.
That's number one.
Number two, they want this Iran thing to go away.
Now, I don't know if it's going to go away.
The only thing I know is America did the right thing, but it has not worked out the way the Trump administration plan.
And on this network, I said, all right, you ought to pull that clip next time I'm on.
This is the biggest gamble.
Donald Trump has ever taken because you cannot.
I just, Bill, I just want to interrupt you for one second.
I just want to tell you viewers on what's going on.
Sean Duffy's speaking down at the mall.
The pictures you were seeing was from the pool.
President Trump is making his way now from the White House
down to the national mall.
Flyover happens probably in about 20 minutes.
Bill, continue.
All right.
I used to be a lifeguard, so if they want me to volunteer to be in the pool,
Would you get into the reflecting pool?
Sure, I don't care.
I'd have a little stand and a whistle, and I'd keep everybody out of there.
But if I have to go in and rescue a minnow, I'll do it.
Yeah, well, that's about all you can stand, and it's about this tall.
It'd probably come up to your ankles.
As we look down, the reflecting pool, I think, is an interesting thing going on, right?
It's something that nobody cared about.
I used to run past it during the Obama administration.
It was filled with algae then.
Nobody cared.
then Trump won, nobody cared, Biden, nobody cared.
Now all of a sudden, everyone cares because they think they can make Trump look bad.
It's something he keeps talking about.
Probably you'll hear about it tonight.
Take a listen.
This is a very political thing.
But as I understand it, six are under arrest.
This was pure vandalism.
It's an amazing thing that we did.
Don't forget, it hasn't worked properly since it was built,
because it always leaked in 1920.
I just don't understand the president getting married now in the details of the reflecting pool.
He's going to talk about it tonight.
And there's a lot of Americans who are going to be sitting at home, as you point out, thinking about relief.
They're going to be thinking about, hey, can I afford gas?
Can I afford to buy stakes for a July 4th grill out?
And the president's talking to him about the pool and whether it leaks or not.
That's because he thinks it was sabotaged.
So Trump thinks that this pool was sabotaged.
I'm blaming Hunter Biden. I don't care what anybody says.
That's a new one.
I think I saw Hunter out there about two in the morning with a pale.
I'm blaming him.
But that's what it's all about.
He wants to make the Democrats look bad, and he thinks it was sabotage.
Okay, but I agree.
You're making jokes about it as becoming this whole thing.
Is it a serious issue that requires the President of the United States to deal with
in the midst of the Iran war and the American people's economic problems?
Is it not?
It's not a serious issue to me as an American citizen.
But if he wants to make a point that he believes the reflecting pool was sabotaged, I don't
have any problem with that.
Let them make the point.
People can make up their own minds.
Janine Piro is a prosecuting officer.
If there is sabotage, I wouldn't want to go in front of the judge.
There's a bunch of liberal judges in D.C. Bill.
cares here. They probably, the judge will probably give him a trophy. Yeah, it's a trifle.
Iran is the big one. And again, comfort needs to be brought. And it's almost impossible to do
because the mullahs every day change their mind or lie or do this or do that. You know,
our posture is very simple. All right, you let weapons inspectors in and the whole thing goes away.
But the mullahs don't want to do that for some reason.
I don't know why, but you imagine how frustrating that is.
So let's just recap.
He's got to reinforce that the oil and gas is going to get better.
People's lives are going to get easier.
And that I guess he'll say that the Iranian situation is going to get better,
but there'll be a lot of doubt on that front.
Okay. How does President Trump take away the appearance? You can argue whether it's true or not, that he's fighting with everybody. He's fighting over Iran where a lot of people are seeing the mullahs defy him and he says it's great. He's fighting with Republicans in Congress who aren't doing what he says he's going to do. He's fighting over the reflecting pool. It doesn't feel to most Americans like, hey, this guy's got everything in control. Things are good. I can go.
with my family on July 4th.
I don't think it's going to stop anybody from going with his family on July 4th.
So which would you rather have, Vittert?
Would you rather have a guy who's feisty and confrontational and taking on these issues that he
feels are important?
Or would you rather have Joe Biden?
Say whatever you want about the President of the United States.
There was that Richard Neustadt.
I think he was a political scientist where you went Harvard.
Only smart people go to Harvard.
Newstat was a political scientist professor, and he said the real power of the presidency is power of persuasion. I would argue it's also the power to be up there after the F-16s flyover.
Not for this president, the persuasion thing. I was happy the planes didn't bomb anybody.
There's a lot of bombing going on. Yeah? There's a lot of bombing going to. I'm going to say no casualties or no drownings in a reflective pool.
No, you've got a populist president.
He's not in the business of persuasion at all.
He wants to ram his agenda on people's throats, and if you disagree with him, he doesn't like it, he's going to confront you.
Teddy Roosevelt comes to mine.
Harry Truman comes to mine.
Andrew Jackson comes to mine.
It's not the first time he's had that kind of a precedent.
But in the end, it's all about results.
That's what it's about.
And I think that, number one, the housing situation will get signed.
I hope that the voting is rehabilitated in Congress, because that's horrible what they did in California is horrible.
Agreed on the voting thing, but I want to ask you, this is an important question, because you're right.
You made a huge prediction that the Iran War was the biggest gamble of Trump's presidency.
Maybe the biggest gamble of president's taken in an awfully long time that he, that was completely of choice.
First president had to take on the mullahs in 47 years.
that needed to happen. You're right, America did the right thing. Let me get you on the record on this.
Not whether the Save America Act should pass. The worst thing a president does is spend an enormous
amount of political capital and then it doesn't work. My reporting shows that this is not going to get
passed, period. There's not 51 votes to break the filibuster or 50 plus one with Vance to break
the filibuster. There's nowhere close to that. And there's certainly not 60 votes in the Senate to pass it
conventionally. So you don't think there's any danger to Trump ranting and raving about this
and making a huge push, putting all this political capital behind it and then it not working?
I don't think it makes that equation. I think he wants it. He thinks it's right for the nation.
If McConnell can get out of the hospital, there's a chance it will get passed. And I don't think
he says, well, if it gets, why? Why is he? Why is he?
I can go through the senators who are not going to vote for it, period.
And they're not going to vote to bring the filibuster.
No, no, no.
What you're not taking into account is the midterms.
All these people are going to need Trump to campaign for them.
All of them.
And so they can be persuaded.
I know you disagree, and that's good.
But I don't think it's a slam dunk that this doesn't get through.
Number one, it's a right thing to do.
Number two, if you can make it.
case that the American people will pay attention to, the winds will shift in your favor.
Well, who wants foreign nationals voting?
That wasn't the question.
Who wants that?
Do you want it?
There's a lot of people who want it, but that's not the question.
The question is the political reality, whether Trump has the political capital to ram this thing
through.
Well, I'm telling you that the wins are going to shift in his favor when people figure it out.
Okay.
And the campaign stuff is very important.
So if you're a marginal congressperson or senator
and you're running neck and neck in November,
you're going to need Trump.
I have not seen that anybody thinks Trump
is going to be a huge push for voters, say, in Maine.
Susan Collins is not going to have him come up in campaign.
She's one of the swing votes.
Yeah, but you're bringing in the fringe now.
No, Cassidy's a no, courtings and no.
I'm talking about the regular folks.
Yeah, that gets you to 48 or 49.
It doesn't get you to 51 to break the filibuster.
It depends on the, you talked about persuasion.
It depends on what the pressure is on those men and whether they will do the right thing.
Look, this is the right thing to do.
You see, do you want to be on the wrong side of history?
Bill, I hate to remind you, this is Washington.
If people in Washington did the right thing, you and I wouldn't have nearly as interesting jobs.
Please join me on Wab, WabC. Radio.
I'm Jake Novak, in for Sid. We're here with John Casematides, Fernando Mateo, Judge Weinberg,
former governor David Patterson. And Bill, we've got to ask you your tape.
And by the way, and Fernando Montaille was asking Sid to take another week off.
Yeah, he wants him to take it. Yeah. He's been lobbying. He's been making contributions and lobbying for it.
Yeah, we have, we have earth, wind, and fire.
now we have smoke and water in the house.
But no mirrors.
No mirrors.
Bill, I've got to ask you, though, I mean, your take on these, you definitely addressed it in your program last night on the no-spin news, but the take on this communist overtaking of these Democrat primaries in New York and what this means, not only for New York, but for the whole country.
Okay, but first I have to tell you the reason I'm here is because Sid said if I don't go on with you guys,
he's going to come to my house.
He's not that far from your house.
He can't have that.
I can't have that.
So here I am.
Anyway,
you have to,
if you really want to understand
what's going on in New York City,
and it's going on in Los Angeles,
Chicago,
and San Francisco as well,
the big urban centers.
You've got to understand
the educational system.
That's where it all starts
in first,
second grade.
So you've got a teachers union that dominates here that is wildly left wing.
And the imposition of a curriculum that says to the urchins, you know, you live in a bad country.
The United States is slavery.
It's terrible.
It drop bombs on Japan.
It's persecutes people.
You don't have rights.
You can't vote.
on and on.
And when children hear this constantly, all right, they form attitudes about their country
because they don't have any balance.
All right.
The unions ram in principals or assistant principals who then hire teachers who are
very left wing.
That's where it starts.
And so that when these kids go into high school and then,
get out of school and look for jobs, many of them do not change their opinion of the country.
So you have, for Mam Dani, a constituency there, okay?
So they like him, they believe him.
They, and we're talking about the rank and file of kids who went through the public school system,
and they think America is bad.
So we have to have a huge change.
You add to that, minority voters, many of whom have a bitterness toward the system.
We all know that.
You have to be honest.
And some of the bitterness is warranted.
You know, some minority people have been treated terribly by our system.
And you combine that kind of ethnic voting.
with the voting of people who really don't know anything.
They know one side of the story.
America is bad.
And that's why these guys get elected.
Now, in a general election in New York State, that wouldn't happen, in my opinion.
But here's the problem.
Hulkel, a standard Democrat, could stop the madness.
She had the power to stop it.
She won't stop it.
because she wants to be reelected, and she wants all the money that flows into the Democratic Party from these radical leftists.
George Soros, we know the game.
Okay.
Chinese are pumping billions of dollars into the United States electoral system, billions, to try to change us from a capitalistic free society to a communist totalitarian society.
Let me give you one really vivid example.
on how people are going to get hurt and fast.
So Mandani wants to collectivize housing in New York.
He wants to run it.
He doesn't want a landlord.
He doesn't want private industry involved in housing.
He wants City Hall to run it.
What's going to happen is already underway is that the landlords who invested millions of dollars
and to the tenements and to the other dwellings,
aren't going to fix anything.
They're not going to put more money into New York City housing.
So when you're living there, and you've got a big problem with heating or rodents
or whatever it may be, and you call, no one is going to help you.
So therefore, the slums, as they're called, are going to get worse.
And I mean a lot worse.
Bandani wants that.
He wants critical mass to get the private landlords out of the business,
and he'll try to bankrupt them with exercise tax, with excise tax, I should say,
with regulations, you can't do this, you can't do that.
Where do you see the regulations that are going to come on housing?
Where do you see?
And the meantime, the people who vote for the communist, because Mandani is a communist, he's not a socialist.
He would seize your property forcibly if he could.
That's communism.
They're going to get a hosed, and it always comes down to that.
You elect these people throughout history.
They come in, they have power, and you, the voter, get it right between the eyes.
And that's what's going to happen.
It's already happened in L.A.
You can't even turn on streetlights in L.A.
Now, that's how bad that place is.
Bill O'Reilly, you mentioned housing, and we had this housing bill, this bipartisan housing bill.
And, you know, we can be very scrutinizing of it and whether it's really going to do much.
I do like the idea that at least it's marketed as improving supply.
Everything is supply and demand.
Everything else is smoke and mirrors.
But President Trump abruptly canceling the science.
ceremony or saying he's not going to sign it until he gets the Save America Act passed.
And John Kastmatidis and I think that's a good strategic move.
We don't have anything if we don't have vote integrity in this country.
But Judge Weinberg and former Governor Patterson think, no, he should have taken the W on this
so that in the midterms the Democrats can't say this is a do-nothing Congress and a do-nothing
president.
Where do you stand on this?
Well, I think that I would have taken the deal and signed the legislature.
because that connects me more with the voters and the Republican Party.
But at the same time, you don't have to throw the Save America Act down the dream.
Now, symbolically, every American should want the Constitution upheld.
Okay?
And the Constitution says you have to be an American citizen to cast a ballot.
Now, the communists in the left are trying to get a right.
around that saying, no, we're going to have local elections, and the Constitution doesn't apply
to that, which is a bunch of garbage, and they'll lose all day long. Okay, but at this point in history,
what the Republican Party has to do is become more accessible to the voters, because the voters
are blaming the Republicans, a whole bunch of stuff like the Iran War and on and on and on and on.
So I probably would have taken the housing thing, got it into motion, but then go back.
And here's my question about the Voter Integrity Act.
Who's opposed to that?
Who's opposed?
Who's opposed to upholding the Constitution and not having foreign nationals vote?
I'll tell you, the radical Democrats, in New York City.
the three
congresspeople, and you
can't get more radical than them.
You can't. They're communists, all right?
They won,
they won the election
because, in my opinion,
because 48%
of working people
in New York City were born overseas.
48%.
And that's, that's increased
substantially in the last five years
since President Biden allowed them in.
And that's how Mondominium won the election last year.
And since Mayor Adams, we gave these people rewards to come in.
We gave them $400 a day hotel rooms.
We gave them free cell phones.
We gave them free food.
And some of them didn't even like the food.
We do what we do best in America.
Give, give, give, and give.
Bill, this is Fernando Mateo.
But it goes beyond that because the four.
38%, and I'm generalizing now, because there are some migrants who know the country better than I do.
And my experiences, I run three corporations.
Migrants are very hardworking people.
That being said, I would say the majority of people who Biden let in in the open border catastrophe
that were then nurtured by the city and state of New York have no attachment.
No attachment to American tradition. None.
Bill, this is...
They're going to vote for the person, the politician, who promises to give them the most stuff.
That's what's happening.
Bill, this is Fernando Mateo. It's an honor to have you on the other side here on Sid's show.
Bill, I have a question for you.
How do you believe we can turn this around?
We know that people that are 40, 50, 60, 70 years old have stopped coming out to vote.
The people that were elected that Mandami supported all were from minority communities,
and only 10% of the people came out to vote, most of them being white and crazy.
How do we figure this out, Bill?
How do we fix it?
A lot of white and crazy people, number one.
So it's a complicated matter.
The way I have a new book coming out in September call Confronting America,
what has to change?
And here's how you can change it.
The Department of Education, a federal agency, imposes regents, and we have the
here in New York about history on every high school senior. You have to take the exam. And the exam
centers on traditional America. What was the civil war? How did the revolutionary war end?
Those kinds of things. Therefore, the teachers and the principals who are now undermining the
system and not teaching factual information would be forced to teach.
teach factual information unless they wanted to be embarrassed and have the test scores be terrible,
and then they face local scrutiny. And they can also face federal scrutiny. You can go in and you
can say, this school is not operating the way it should because it's getting public money.
It has to start there. That's where you have to change it in the schools, because you're not going to be able
do it on television or party politics or anything like that.
You're not going to be able to do it, but you have to raise the level of awareness.
Who are we?
How did America become the most powerful nation on earth?
What is our system?
Because these are questions that kids in high school cannot answer.
And it has to be imposed.
Bill O'Reilly, by the way, the book, again, for those of you,
who heard it, didn't get the whole title.
Confronting America what has to change.
Going to be available in September.
September 15th.
September 15th.
And they're going to chase me out of the country.
You know that.
So I only have a few more weeks because I really, really go into.
Here is.
Why don't we give it out?
I'll buy a zillion copies.
So give it out at the Gala, W-A-B-C gala we're having on September 11th.
I like the word zillion.
I like that word.
We'll work it out, John.
Thank you.
You've always been very generous to me.
Well, you know, listen, we all fight for America,
and we all love people that fight for America.
Bill O'Reilly, thank you for everything you do,
and God bless you.
God bless America, and let's catch up again real soon.
