I'm Bill O'Reilly.
You're listening to Around the World.
Let's begin.
So Susan Collins is a senator in Maine, Republican, nice woman.
My interactions with her have always been pot.
positive. And she's up against radical leftist, Troy Jackson. I don't know anything about them.
So I said to my staff, find out about them. Troy Jackson. The Republicans need that Senate seat.
They need Susan Collins to win. Vitably important. So Collins is, I'd say she's a maverick. She doesn't just follow
the Republican design, but she's a traditionalist.
Now, Troy Jackson himself is a logger, makes his living, chopping down trees and stuff,
which is fine.
We need people like that in Washington.
But he's crazy.
Troy Dale Jackson, 58 years old.
Now, when I said crazy, he's so far left.
that you go, what?
What?
And he doesn't really know very much.
So he goes on CNN, of course, the home team, the home dugout.
And he talks to Dana Bash, who I like.
I work with her father at ABC News, and I like Dana.
And here's what went down.
You talked about home heating oil, which is incredibly high here in Maine.
You said that we should just get out of Iran as quickly as possible.
How would that work?
Would you be okay with just pulling out of Iran?
And what would that mean for the Strait of Hormuz, which would be certainly controlled
by Iran if that happened, which would continue to keep the oil prices high?
Well, Iran controlled it before, and there were places.
weren't anywhere near.
They didn't.
It was open.
Well.
Before the Iran war?
No, it wasn't.
It was open.
Well, Iran had the ability to do what they did before we started bombing them and things were fine.
I'm sure that if we move out of Iran, things will stabilize and prices will probably go down.
You think if the United States just leaves, Iran will say, okay, fine, we're going to pull out of the straight of Hormuz?
Well, it's a lot better than what we're doing right now.
Fifth grade.
That's going to give from a fifth grader.
Now, I can mock them all day long.
That's not hard.
But is this a man qualified to be a senator from any state?
No.
It is a no.
I mean, you know, everything will be fine.
Like, everything's been fine with Iran sponsoring terrorism all over the world,
and particularly in the Middle East, October 7th was fine.
The hoodies are fine.
Executing thousands of Persians inside their own country is fine.
What kind of guy is this?
What's the matter with you people up in Maine?
And he's ahead of Collins by about a point.
I see, I think Collins will win, but why would you vote for somebody like that?
Because you hate Trump?
Collins isn't tied into Trump.
You see, this is the stuff keeps near awake at night.
I go, what is going on?
Now I'm in the main, 10 times in my life, beautiful place.
Folks are normal.
It's not San Francisco.
There is a liberal cadre in the southern part of the state, and those are mostly Boston people
who moved up there.
But this guy?
This guy?
Everything's fine.
It'll be fine.
Because Iran controlled it, no.
And to Dana's credit, she goes, now I would have carried it a step further.
I go, you want to be a senator, and you don't even know.
that Iran didn't control the strait of Hormuz, that it was an open waterway, and that is what the
United Nations treaty says. Do you know anything about the UN treaty? Do you think Troy Jackson
knows anything about that treaty were open waterways? Do you think? No, he doesn't. So I would have
pushed it more than Dana, but Dana did her job. Very rare.
Very, mostly now you have the network people just, you know, because they don't know, and they're too lazy to research.
And I don't know what their staff does all day long.
My staff works hard.
So if I don't know something, I said, look, I need to clear this up, get me what it is, and I get it.
And the networks are 10 times of many people as I have.
anyway, I'm telling you all this for two reasons,
but I think CNN may have reached the tipping point of selling out to the left.
Might be wrong.
But it looks to me like they're making a little bit of an effort after 10 years,
to come back a little bit.
And number two, that Troy Jackson is not qualified to be a senator from anywhere.
He's not.
So why would you, a manor who wants the best for your family and state,
why would you even consider voting for a guy who doesn't know anything?
Why?
Because you hate Trump?
Is that going to help your family?
I don't know.
Now, how about other people in the radical precincts?
It's hard to generalize.
Some of these people are hardcore communists and socialists, like Bernie Sanders,
and they know exactly what this far-left movement is.
And they want it anyway.
Elizabeth Warren in Massachusetts is one of them.
too. AOC doesn't know, doesn't know much. But the older socialist, communist, they do, they know.
So there's no excuse for them. They just want a different country, tear it traditional America down,
replace it with a very stringent far-left government that will basically take away our
individual freedoms and impose an economic system that's impossible. If you don't believe it's
impossible, you just look what's happening over in Europe. It's right before your eyes. That is a warning.
France on fire is a warning to us. Spain is a warning. The documentary I did on the UK, the siege of London,
I couldn't have warned you more, particularly with this universal health care, and they're sending
billions of dollars now on the child. They're going to raise their kids for you.
Yeah, we'll take care of it.
Mandami will raise your kids.
How do you think that's going to work out?
Billions.
Yeah, universal health care.
Yeah, universal childcare.
Whenever you hear that, ooh.
So anyway, Troy Jackson,
I don't think he's going to make it.
If he makes it, I'm going to be a little depressed.
Here's my News Nation appearance with Leland
Bill, good to see. I watched the no-spin news earlier. You said Putin only has a good relationship
with Satan. Fact-checked true. Why is Donald Trump going down the same road he's gone down,
what, eight or nine times of giving Putin something real and then hoping in return he's not
going to get screwed once again by the Russian dictator? Well, it's impossible.
answer the second part of your question, but I spent all weekend trying to figure this out.
And what I came up with and what it's true, I believe, because the Wall Street Journal echoed
it today, is that Trump and Putin made a deal that Russia would not help Iran.
Iran is evil number one right now in Trump's eyes, and Putin and Russia were helping Iran
arm them and intel, all things like that.
So apparently Putin said, okay, we won't do that.
And if you want to bomb Iran, we're not going to react to it, not going to help them.
But in return, you've got to give us some money in the form of relief of sanctions.
I believe that is the deal they made.
Okay.
My father always said you can have a bad deal with good people.
you can never have a good deal with bad people.
And you have been clear, going back more than 20 years,
on who Vladimir Putin is.
We went back and took a look at the tape.
Roll it.
Most Americans understand that Putin is a villain,
a former secret police killer.
Taking a page out of the Hitler playbook.
Russian President Putin has invaded Ukraine.
He's a killer, though.
Putin's a killer.
A lot of killers.
20 pages in confronting evil the Vladimir
Putin. By far the biggest chapter. Why?
He's a danger to us.
Enjuries inflicting suffering on people.
He's a mass murderer.
This is a guy who's totally out of control.
No constraints on him at all.
You have spent a lot of time with President Trump.
Do you believe he is as clear-eyed as you are in his view of Vladimir Putin?
Yeah, I mean, look, he looks to Putin in a different way.
So, and the key to it was a soundbite when I asked him,
Putin's a killer.
He goes, there are a lot of killers.
So Trump is going to deal with you, even if you're a killer.
It deals with Xi, China, and China commits all kinds of human rights violations.
He doesn't have a line, like say maybe Jimmy Carter would have,
or Reagan.
Or another...
Reagan, though, with some bad people with the Iran country.
No, but Reagan talked about the Iran country.
No, but Reagan talked about it.
about the evil empire. Reagan had a clear worldview of right and wrong. That doesn't seem to
exist for President Trump. Good or bad. All right, but you can talk about anything. I'm not
diminishing President Reagan's achievement in bankrupting the Soviet Union, but he dealt with
some killers, Reagan, and the contras, particularly in the weapon swap with Iran.
So anyway, Trump wants to get Iran under control, and he can't do it without Putin.
I believe that's his mindset.
And so Trump is going, okay, what's more important for the world that we disarm Iran's
nuclear ambition or we let this Ukrainian thing go on and on?
I think the decision is the latter.
Okay. So go on and on.
That seems to write off the risk of emboldening Vladimir Putin
that he is the mouse that gets a cookie and then wants a glass of milk.
He gets appeasement on Ukraine, which Trump seems to be willing to give him.
And then he says, well, you know, I kind of like Moldova.
And then I kind of like Estonia, which is a NATO ally.
And you know what?
Maybe I don't like Germany anymore or Poland.
and rolls tanks in there.
What is to stop him?
Well, nuclear deterrence will stop him.
But what Putin calculation is,
is that he wants to reconstitute,
and you know this, the old Soviet Union.
So it was interesting and instructive when,
right, it's like Humpty Dumpty, okay?
So today we learned that Putin wants a meeting
with she and Trump, but no Zelensky.
So what does I tell you?
It tells you this isn't a meeting about Ukraine or stopping.
I'm going to stop here quick.
I'm going to roll the sound bite of Trumpian asked about that.
Take a listen.
Have you agreed to a trilateral meeting with President Housin and she talked about Ukraine?
No, but I would do it.
Not so much for Ukraine.
Because Russia, frankly, has been fine on Ukraine.
They haven't been doing much.
And the same thing with China.
We would happen to talk about nuclear weapons,
It's a key nuclearization.
Really? Xi and Putin are going to give up their nukes bill? Come on.
Well, look, Trump is sincere in wanting the Ukrainian conflict to stop.
He's sincere. And he tried everything, and it hasn't worked.
And so now he thinks that maybe if he goes a different way.
But what Putin wants is what they call a sphere of influence.
He wants the world divided into three.
China will take some. He'll take some. The United States will take some. That does not include
Ukraine and Zelensky. So Ukraine will just be part of a subjective. Greater Russia. Yeah.
But look, how much of this do you think comes down to, and part of this I think the media doesn't
understand? Because every time Trump says anything that's remotely nice about Vladimir Putin, they lose
their minds. How much of this comes down to Trump just doesn't like Zelensky? He likes strong men
leaders. He thinks that getting along with Putin and getting along with Xi and telling him what
they want to hear is important. And this is just personal. Well, I don't think Zelensky is Trump's
kind of guy because Zelensky is not a yes man. Yeah, that's true. Simple as that. I mean,
I think that when Trump calls and says, hey, we want to do.
X, Y, and Z, and he gets pushed back from Zelensky.
Trump doesn't like it.
In his mind, Ukraine shouldn't have started.
Zelensky should have tried to head it off.
But the solution to this is pretty interesting,
and it ties into what's going on now with France and Spain and others.
NATO should be taken care of this with the United States as the second.
We shouldn't be the first.
That's a NATO problem, taking care of Ukraine, Putin.
So the NATO forces should be bunched into Poland, Lithuania, the Baltic states, Romania,
Romania, Moldova, whatever country would take on them.
And armaments should be in there.
And Putin should know that the Europeans are going to fight.
him with the assistance of the USA. Why is it always it to be on us? Why are we
to solve every problem? So put NATO out front. That's why Trump doesn't like NATO. He sees
as weak. They want us to do everything, the heavy lift, and it's true. Well, that is all true.
The flip side bill is that when America doesn't lead, other people do, and the results are, shall we say, suboptimal.
And that's what gave rise to Hitler and evil in World War II.
And Trump basically says, to your point about not liking Zelensky, he won Zelensky out.
Roll the tape.
Zelensky says you're on the wrong side of history on this one.
Zelensky said it?
Zelensky doesn't know what he's talking about.
He's a man that should have had this war settled a long time ago.
If he would have listened to me, he would have made a much better deal a long time ago,
and he'd have a million people living from his side.
And to be honest, I don't think, I think it's time for somebody else to negotiate on behalf of Ukraine.
The negotiation on the other side of Ukraine is what?
Just give Ukraine to Putin?
I don't know.
I don't know.
We have sent people over there
Whitkoff and Kushner and all these people
We've sent him over there
We've tried to reason with Putin
You can't reason with him as you pointed out
Putin likes the war
That's what Americans don't understand
Putin likes to kill
He likes to kill
All right
He enjoys a one-year-old and a stroller dead
He likes it
Yeah
And so there's no
Stimulation for him to
to stop because for him, this is a hobby.
He doesn't care how many Russians die.
He doesn't care.
And that mentality has gone out through all history.
I mean, there were Roman emperors like that.
There were expansionists from Jenghis Khan on.
Hitler.
Certainly, more people you can kill the better.
All right, that's Putin.
But what Trump is trying to do is trying to get NATO mobilized
to become the main.
bullwark in Europe, not the United States.
And I don't think, I'm not an isolationist, as you know.
But I don't think that's a bad strategy.
But what you're looking at now in Europe is a mass meltdown of now socialists trying to take over.
In old Europe, I think you're wrong, you're wrong, though, about Poland and Lithuania and Latvia and Estonia.
Hard to imagine we're talking about these countries in the very beginning of a television show,
but they view themselves on a war footing.
They spend more as a percentage of their budget on defense almost than America does.
But I think this is where we bring everything back.
You said on the no-spin news that this is not something people are voting on.
It's not some people care about.
Foreign policy segments are some of our highest rated,
because I think people see now how scary somebody like Vladimir Putin is,
and they want him to be confronted,
to borrow a phrase from your book,
not appeased.
I wouldn't disagree with wanting.
It's just a matter of what sacrifice
are you willing to make.
And the American people aren't willing
to make much of a sacrifice.
The GOP may lose the election
because of higher gas prices.
We're not willing to absorb
the $2 more
that we have to pay a gallon of gas
for
an effective policy against Iran. Certainly that'll be the case with Putin. But you misinterpreted
my European thing. It's not that the Poland and the others aren't trying, but they have to do it
collectively. Putin has to feel heat. He has to feel a threat, okay? And there is no threat.
Putin laughs at Europe. That's true? Spain, France, and UK are melting down. Communists are
taking over those countries under the guise of illegal migration.
They're using everything they can.
Israel?
The Islamists meet the socialist left.
They all kind of form a common cause and army cause.
But it's being engineered.
It's being engineered.
And this is weakness to Putin.
He's sitting over there in Moscow.
Look at these clowns.
Can't even stop rioting in their own country?
Well, Putin knows how to stop rioting in his country.
Bill, thank you very much.
Good to see you as always.
Here's my weekly appearance with W-O-R's Mark Simone.
That's going to be some election night in two weeks from tonight watching that.
What do you think?
Well, Trump...
Yeah, it's going to be diverse.
The one thing I know is that everybody's mad.
so
nobody's not mad
and
I'm trying to think back in the
Vietnam era it was like that
too
but how that's going to manifest
itself as far as people
choosing a candidate
for example I think
Blakeman's going to upset
Hockel here in New York
which would be a stunning
blow
to the
radical left Democrats
but he'll
they'll get waxed out in California.
And as far as the Senate is concerned,
it's impossible at this point to pick it.
You know, when I watch these idiots on television,
and they truly are idiots.
And they're, you know, speculating about this and that.
They don't know.
It's like going to Miss Cleo.
Remember Miss Cleo?
And, you know, you give the woman 50 bucks
and she looks at some balls.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah, I mean, come on.
You know, the one thing that you have to build on is facts.
In Michigan, for example, I say it is the big Democratic star, charismatic guy.
I can't see black Americans coming out for the man.
I cannot see it.
That would go against every tradition.
African Americans, they, and I'm generalizing, of course,
they are very centered into their community
and how to improve it
and Elsidehead is about far away from their community
as you could get Putin is closer
than Elsidehead
so on all these people in Detroit
going to run out and vote for Alsaid
I'd be shocked
and if that doesn't happen then Rogers will win
yeah
so let's say Blakeman wins we think Blankman will win
he should win
and within a year he's turned New York around quite a bit.
He's lowered the taxes, everything's better.
Could that be the end of this crazy socialist democratic crap all over the place?
Well, it's going to cause a lot of angst, that's for sure.
So I had Blakeman on the nose of the news yesterday.
Yeah, it's very good.
And I don't usually do, you know, politicians because they're just going to give you, you know, the can line and all that.
But I ran into Blakeman last week on Long Island, and, you know, I had comments.
station. I said, okay, look, I'll invite
Hulk, or she'll never come on.
And then I'll invite you, and you come on if you want, and he did.
And the thing about Blakeman,
and I don't know him that well, I mean, I know him.
I live in Nashville County, and he's a
county commissioner, the director of it.
The thing about him is that
he's got a very sharp point of view.
And his point of view is law and order, number one.
and the Nassau County Police Department is a good department underwriter.
And, you know, it's much tougher to police in New York City than it is in Nassau.
But there's a lot of miscreants in Nassau floating around, and they've gotten that under control.
Taxes were the highest tax state and the union.
They've come down a little bit in Nassau County, but not anything dramatic because the state and the county and everybody else owes so much money.
I'm expecting, I'm expecting
Blakeman to hold the line
or drop in a little bit
if he can in certain areas.
He can certainly cut out waste and fraud,
which Hockel and the Democrats will never do.
And the big joke on people
who really are tuned into this
is the affordability. You haven't heard
about that in about two weeks since I just
blew it up. Affordability,
you don't think the Democratic Party
if they win is going to raise taxes.
I mean, so any money that you would save in the grocery store at a gas bomb is going to go right into their hands in their pockets in the form of taxation.
Taxation isn't just your paycheck.
It's nine bucks going into the city.
It's what are they charging now to park?
15% tax to park.
I mean, it's every blanket thing that we do in New York State is taxed.
everything. I mean, next they're going to be tracking, they're going to be taxing trick-to-treating.
You know, there'll be some guy following around a kid, like, you didn't give me half of that.
You know, so I'm going to go on, you don't think the Democratic Party are going to raise taxes?
So what are you talking about affordability? How's that going to shake?
And there's never an answer to that question.
You know, they have controlled every inch of government in New York state and city for the last 15 years.
How do they complete, if there's an affordability crisis, didn't they cause it?
How did they get away from not having to answer?
Of course they caused it.
Of course they caused it.
But there is a line, it's about $60,000 in New York City, where people below that line don't pay much tax at all, federal or state or anything.
In fact, the government pays them.
So you get what they call it tax rebate if you earn less than a certain amount of money.
And so those people, they don't care about affordability.
It doesn't concern them other than higher prices cut into whatever cash they may have on hand.
But taxes, it doesn't bother them because they're not in the tax zone.
The people that get really hurt are the working people who live in the suburbs and upstate New York and all that,
who bust their buns every day.
And in the paycheck, it keeps going up and up and up and up.
And when you look at where the money goes, it's a scandal.
So what are we paying now?
Three times as much money for our students to go to school as Florida.
Three times as much.
For what?
Florida has better test scores than we do.
What are you getting?
You're not getting anything.
And then you have a, it goes,
the money that is put out because no one is watching the money.
And that's the big fraud in Minnesota, in California, in Maine.
You say, oh, yeah, we'll take all your money.
And nobody's going to watch it.
So the crooks steal it.
And where this AI comes in, man?
These gangsters are already working on that.
And so, you know, I'm sitting here.
I'm a logical simple guy.
And when I do speak to my liberal friends, they are, they have, we hate Trump, number one.
That's still number one with a bullet on the billboard chart.
Yeah.
We hate them.
Okay.
And then they have very little after that.
that. Very, very little accomplishments, future economic growth. You don't get much. You get a lot of mumbles. You get what Hockel does.
Eight billion dollars you've spent Governor Hockel on migrants. Eight billion dollars in a year on migrants. That alone
should elect Blakeman.
Well, let's hope so. Hey, we only got like a minute left. France.
Macron, not bringing out the military, not stopping this rioting.
What is he thinking?
McCrone.
He's thinking, where can I get my croissant?
I mean, it's France.
You've been to France, right?
Yeah, of course.
Come on.
It's France.
France is a society that has expectations of the government giving them what they want.
That's it.
That's your expectation.
Jimmy, pension,
Jimmy, housing,
Jimmy, give me, give me, give me.
And now France, don't have any money.
They broke.
The UK is broke.
Soon Spain will be broke.
You can't absorb millions of people
who the first thing they do
when they get into your country
is go on the national health insurance doll.
You can't pay the bills.
That's exactly what's happening.
Wow. Bill O'Reilly, we're out of time, but hey, great podcast. We'll do it live. We've got to watch the Stephen A. Smith episode. You got somebody coming up later this week?
We're doing election specials this week because the interest is so intense. And I think I got the best lineup. I got all the guys that, you know, haven't made 50,000 mistakes. And that means nobody from CNN.
you know these people just root so I got really good people hard-eyed people no ideology they come in they say this is what's going on and that's what I want so that'll be the long form for the next week or maybe 10 days
and then we'll get back to the usual chaos Bill O'Reilly thanks for being with us appreciate it Mark if you go to France let me know I'll tag along
All right, take care.
We've got to bring fire extinguishes, though.
Let's we go.
Chris Cuomo and I duke it out on News Nation.
Putin, a humanitarian.
I have the perfect guest to answer that question.
Bill O'Reilly.
His latest book has a dense chapter on Vladimir Putin,
whom he calls the most evil man alive.
Not the most evil man ever that goes to the guy next to him.
All right? So, what does Bill make of this? He joins me now.
Hello, sir. You got it wrong. You got it wrong.
Just to correct the record. Putin's a humanitarian. You got it wrong.
Just to correct the record, confronting America, what has to change is my latest book.
That book was out last year, confronting evil.
So everybody knows, including Whitkoff, that Putin's not a humanitarian.
And I don't even think Putin would like that.
moniker placed on him.
But the key to this story to understand a story is what the president says.
And he says, I'm not going to get involved with this because I don't want to muck it up
because we're very close to a ceasefire in Ukraine.
So does she walk through it.
Donald Trump wants the killing in Ukraine to stop.
And that's in fact.
He told me that years ago.
He wants it to stop.
Putin likes the killing in Ukraine.
He enjoys it.
A one-year-old blown up in a stroll of him makes his night.
All right?
So you've got nowhere to go with Putin on a humanitarian basis.
You don't have anywhere to go with him.
So then what's left in the card catalog?
Flattery.
And that's what Whitkoff is.
therefore to flatter Putin. And Trump tonight said, I wouldn't call Putin a humanitarian,
but quickly got off the subject because he doesn't want to alienate Vlad. And so there is no
plan B. There's no plan B at all. Putin's not going to stop until you bribe him. And the first
salvo or that was to lift the embargo off the oil so he can make money. Putin gets a cut.
of everything that comes into Russia.
He's the richest man in the world.
Okay?
So we've bribed him,
and now we're going to flatter him
as being some kind of world statesman
because there's no plan B.
I get so much email today
about from Republicans,
not just Democrats,
that said, how could he do it?
How could he do it?
And I would write back,
what is your plan
to have Putin stop killing
force.
Force.
Force.
People who know Vladimir Putin and have studied him for decades say he only respects and understands
one stimulus.
Force and concern of what happens to him.
I'm not saying military force.
I'm saying the sanctions, doing kind of like what they've been doing well in Iran.
Go after his partners.
Well, but I mean, you give Ukraine everything it needs to continue its attacks because you have
not done that. Instead of throttling their ability to defend themselves like they did with
the Starling, you treat Putin like the human scum he is. You're out kicking your coverage,
okay? You've already tried, okay, to sanction him to his knees. It hasn't worked. Why hasn't it
worked? Because Putin doesn't care about the Russian people. He doesn't care how many Russians are killed in
Ukraine. He doesn't care what the economy is. It's very similar to the Mullins. They don't care.
Right, but we haven't done what we're doing to the Mullas. I agree with you. I agree with you.
The regime in Iran does not give a rat's patuti about its people. You're right, because they're not
their people. That's why. Same thing with Putin. However, we have not tried what they're doing
with the Molocry right now, which is to squeeze his partners and to make it clear to him that we're
We're working with everybody else to come at him instead of what Trump is doing, which is not
worked, right?
I mean, he has been pissing on Zelensky for a year and a half now, and it has not made anything
better.
Listen, Putin has never regarded any request.
Well, that is the weak point of trying to placate Putin, is that you try and you try and try and get
nowhere.
Zelensky just today said, look, I'm willing to sit down and give Russia.
which is some territory, which is, I think, ultimately, what's going to happen.
But Zelensky has no power to overthrow Putin.
Neither is NATO. NATO won't step up.
All right.
So what partners?
What partners?
Who are you talking about?
China's not going to get him off.
I mean, it's us.
We have to do it.
I know, but this is why you would form an alliance, right?
This is how you did things.
The idea that he's not going to stop.
He's a bad guy.
Guess what?
You and I are speaking German right now.
if that's how the world had acted in World War II.
Hey, what are you going to do?
This guy won't listen to us.
He's just going to keep going.
Nothing's working.
You know, what you do is you do everything.
We have, we have NATO.
You do everything that you can to stop it.
Yes, but he's not part of it.
I think that Trump has done everything that he can.
Because NATO isn't going to put itself out.
If it would, it would put troops in Poland and Moldova and these other,
in the Baltic states, and put heavy weaponry there.
NATO hasn't done that.
NATO wouldn't even help us in Iran.
I don't think the more...
They wouldn't even help us in Iran.
Look, this is a separate conversation.
That's not about NATO.
That's about Trump and what he's done to the relationship with NATO.
But that's a separate conversation.
We don't have any partners here because they're all too afraid.
No, we don't have partners because we've alienated our friends, Bill.
That's why we don't have partners.
Okay?
Yeah, they were bullish.
What?
They were bullish under Obama.
too, right? NATO was just, wouldn't pay their dues under Obama. Come on. We are alone like we always are.
We both know, no, listen, you and I both covered the war on terror. We were never alone. We didn't
go to Afghanistan alone. We didn't put up together ISAF alone. We didn't go to Iraq alone.
We weren't hunting for bin Laden alone. I mean, we've never been alone like we are right now. I'll
give you that. But we've discussed this enough. We'll see how it, how this plays out in
the next step. I want to ask you about this other situation with Ramoswami, which I don't understand,
and I want to know if you think it's going to affect the race, do you think that Ramoswami's
insistence that, yeah, I'm going to stick with this ad with the mom who's not telling the truth
about sexual molestation of her own children. Yeah, I'm going to keep running it. Do you think
this is going to affect the race? He's already down in polls, but it's hard to believe that a
Republican loses in Ruby Red, Ohio.
Well, believe it because it's going to happen,
because women, in particular, women voters,
are not going to go for Ramoswami.
He's lost all of those voters.
You cannot drag dysfunctional families
into your campaign, no matter who you are.
When I watched that ad, I went,
who does Ramoswami think he's persuading to vote for him?
who?
Who's going to vote for him based upon that commercial?
Somebody got in his ear.
First of all, he's desperate.
Desperate people do desperate things, right?
Somebody said to him, hey, if your own mother doesn't like you, there's something wrong with you.
And that's what it has to be.
What I don't understand is who is telling him.
I mean, even, I don't even know that Trump would do this.
Well, you can find that.
To double down on this.
You should, you should be able.
Trump isn't telling me to it. Come on.
No, no, no. I'm saying I don't think Trump would do this.
I don't think Trump would do this, is what I'm saying.
So I don't know who's telling him to stick with it, is what I said.
Find out.
But Ramoswami himself is responsible.
He just lost the race.
He lost it.
That animal losing the race.
That's it.
You know what?
I don't like to pray on people's downfalls.
But I'll tell you what, if this made a difference,
it should have. It should have. There's got to be a line between right and wrong. And if this doesn't
cross it, I don't know what does. Well, when you do a political ad, it is supposed to be designed
to persuade people to vote for you. I don't know anybody who would vote for Vivek based on this
ad. In fact, most people are going. Not based on the ad. Yeah, this is wrong. And so he gets zero
nothing out of it.
And he puts himself in a position
to just be attacked all day long.
Very, one of the dumbest political moves
I have ever seen.
That's saying something.
You're not new to the game.
Bill O'Reilly, I appreciate you.
Thank you for the context on Putin.
Appreciate you.
Please join me in Sid Rosenberg on Wab,
on WabC Radio.
Bill O'Reilly on this big, big day from me.
Let me just start by saying thank you.
Did I miss the Biden testimonial to you?
You know, I actually have something from Biden that I never play.
But I didn't get one from Mom Dany.
He has not come through yet, but you've been great.
Well, he's working on it, you know.
I'm jealous.
I'm, you know, the only award I've ever gotten.
in New York State was the Your Terrible Award getting up by the View.
The View gave me a Your Terrible Award.
Oh, God.
And they kicked you off.
You can't get back on that show.
What's funny is...
No, they won't talk to me anymore.
I know.
And moments ago, our friend Laura Trump was on Fox News talking about Stephen A. Smith, your buddy,
who actually was on the View defending President.
Trump, and the Trump camp is very happy these days with Stephen A. Smith, who had dinner,
as you know, with Kid Rock, and who else was there? It was Stephen A. Kid Rock. Oh, and Bill
Moore had dinner with President Trump at the White House a couple of days ago. Yeah, and Stephen A.
told me he enjoyed the hero sandwich very much. And they had some Nathan's, you know, and all that.
I'm sure. McDonald's, McDonald's. Hey, look, at the end of the day, Stephen A.
He's critical of President Trump, Iran, and all that stuff.
He'll never say it like I say it because I'm a sycophant. I get that.
And you're not that way either. You're actually a real journalist.
But the truth is, Stephen A, he likes Trump. I'm sorry, I think he does.
Well, I think he respects that Trump is trying to change America in a way that benefits a lot of
people, and that's never, ever presented to by most of the media.
In fact, the view, Stephen A was lucky to get on because they don't put on anyone
that says anything good about the president of the United States is ridiculous.
And, you know, you put somebody on, you have a lively debate, maybe you use some good
humor in all this.
I know it's serious.
but these people are the canceled culture and they're blackballing as much as the view.
It's not just them.
It's the whole network hierarchy.
I used to have no trouble getting on these shows to promote all of my books,
which is why we've got 20 number one bestsellers.
And confronting America is not a political book.
Here's the problem.
Here's how you solve it.
I can't get on these shows because I'm fair to Trump.
I'm fair to him.
I'm not trying to hurt him.
But anyway, let's get back to you.
So the last time I was at the Rainbow, it was years ago.
And it was funny because Bruce Blakeman's former wife is married to Paul McCartney.
And Barbara Walters, the late Barbara Walters, threw a party for her.
and I somehow was invited.
I have no idea because I never invited to anything.
Come on.
You're telling me, in the same room, you had Bill O'Reilly, Barbara Walters, Paul McCartney, and Bruce Blakeman's wife.
Yes.
So McCartney is the last to arrive.
You know, he's a night or something.
I asked Barbara.
I said, do I have to wear the helmet when it comes in?
I have a little sword, but not a big one.
Me too.
And I'm Irish, and I'm not calling any Brit, sir.
I mean, that's not happening.
Not going to happen, no.
Right.
So anyway, he comes up in the elevator, and he knows who I am, McCartney,
because he spends a lot of time here in New York out in the east, and, you know, he's more in America than in Britain now.
So he comes off the elevator, and Barbara runs right over, and so, sir Paul,
This is Bill O'Reilly, and he goes, McCartney goes, high Phil.
Phil.
He didn't say Phil.
He did not say Phil.
Yes, he did.
Hi, Phil?
Right.
Whereupon I look down on him, I'm 6'4, and I go, I'm doing okay, Ringo.
How are you doing?
That challenge start.
I thought Barbara Walters was going to have to be taken to intensive care.
When you said Ringo, what did he say?
He didn't say anything.
That's funny.
I mean, he's not going to engage in a punk like me.
I mean, you know, I was going to tell him I like Jerry and the pacemakers more than the Beatles.
But I didn't get around to that.
What a great reference, Jerry and the Pacemaker.
Oh, yeah, I love Jerry and the Pacemaker.
Oh, that's funny.
But in my book, confronting America, what I should change, there's a big chapter on McCartney.
and how he, President Obama and me, your humble correspondent,
were involved with this huge project.
And it's one of the greatest stories,
so I hope people will check it out,
because it's an important story
and to show you how things work.
So the Rainbow Room I have not been to in a while.
I'm sorry I can't be there today.
I've got to tape my whatever I do.
I don't even know what I do anymore.
The podcast. I know you're everywhere.
They got your work.
It's not a podcast. It's a broadcast.
And then I got this and that.
Didn't you tell me, didn't you tell me in a quiet moment a couple of months ago,
you said, Sid, I got to calm down just a little bit.
I got to take.
I don't see that happening.
When did you mean?
What year was, did you mean like 2030?
It's just that I have 60 people, 6-0 working for me.
Wow.
And we don't do a podcast.
where people are sitting around smoking pot and sweatshirts.
Right.
And that's not what we're doing.
That's Joe Rogan.
That's not you.
Yeah.
I mean, I'm doing news of the day in a way that is very clear.
Clarity is everything and very fair.
And it's just taken off.
There's almost 10 years we've been doing this.
So I can't be at the Rainbow Room,
but I would love to be there to cause some kind of ruckus.
Because everybody's going to be kissing your tookus.
You know that.
And I would probably dissent.
I go, wait, wait, wait, darn.
Slow down.
Yeah, if you really knew this guy, I mean, we'd all be down at Popeye King.
If you really knew him.
Well, the good thing is, the good thing is, because it's not all about me today.
You know, there were seven people getting inducted today.
Your friend, Rosanna, Scotto, Channel 5, Good Day, New York.
Your friend from Channel 7 News, Bill Ritter, he's going in today.
And he's a good man.
Nice guy.
And he's doing good work with Alzheimer's already.
Yeah, I felt bad for me.
I mean, I kill him on the air because of his liberal views, but he's a nice man.
And then you get four people from places like Glenn Pauls and Rochester and those places where no one's ever heard of these people.
But they're legitimate Hall of Famers from upstate New York.
So I'm not the only one.
There are seven of us going in today, but of course, I'm the biggest name.
You know that, Bill.
Right, right.
And the reason that this is important is because on all of the other inductees, they will behave accordingly.
Right.
But anything could happen with you.
Anything.
Right.
You're so right.
You know you're right.
So it's a little drunk.
here.
Yeah.
I heard that Joy Behar is crashing.
Oh, God, no.
Please.
Oh, my God.
I mean, you happen to pick the one person.
I mean, there's three of them on that show that I really despise.
Her Whoopie and what's the other one?
She's actually, Sonny.
Yeah, she's not horrible looking, but she's stupid.
But you picked the worst of all three, Bill O'Reilly, the worst.
You know, that show used to be kind of fun.
but now I don't know
it's all liberal women
I understand that all right
but not just liberal they're not just liberal
they're really hateful people
yeah they don't like their husband
and he doesn't come home
there's a lot of that stuff going on
there you know you can just tell
like their husband
not even all married
you used to be kind of fun
I'd go over
I would
those were the days where
Jenny McCarthy
he was there.
Yes.
You know,
and it wasn't,
it wasn't this intense.
We hate Trump.
We hate MAGA people.
Wasn't Barbara Walters
still there too?
Yeah.
Oh,
that was the key.
See,
Walters was the creator
of the program,
and when she passed,
it just went into chaos.
Even Rosie O'Donnell,
that's Liz Hasselback,
could call Lewis,
but even Rosie O'Donnell
at the beginning of that show
was,
I know I'm going to sound crazy,
almost likable,
almost.
Well,
she's a talented comedian, Rosie.
But, you know, she...
I think, you know, people don't understand.
I think they get bitten by advocates of Mamdami.
It's like a zombie movie.
Yeah.
So you're a normal person,
and all of a sudden you get bitten by Mamdami's friend,
and then you turn into these people on the view.
Yeah, that's it.
Great, good screenplay.
I'm going to start working on that.
You know, I did mean to ask you this many times
because you are the best historical reference
that anybody will ever speak to it.
I mean that, I'm just patronizing you.
So in all the years that you've done this,
this new stuff and covered all these politicians
and there's been a lot of really bad ones,
is Mom Donnie the most dangerous, the worst?
Any of those, the biggest?
Is he worthy of any of that?
Well, he's certainly the worst
as far as New York City is concerned.
And you're sorry, by the way,
That means that you've already put him,
and I agree with you, by the way, agree with you.
You've already put him ahead of a guy that did eight years of damage,
Bill de Blasio.
Yeah, the Blasio was like John the Baptist.
Oh, it's coming.
He's coming.
Watch out.
Okay.
And the Blasio, he was bad,
but Mandani is what I call a true believer.
Evil.
And if you look at his eyes,
that's always the key to indicate.
where people are.
If you look at his eyes,
this is a fanatic.
This is a man
who wants no part
of traditional New York.
He's not spreading the news.
He's not coming today.
He's not singing Frank Finatra's song.
Sorry, Episcopal.
Yeah.
This is a guy
who wants communism
in New York City
and in the United States.
And then you hear,
oh, no,
blah, blah, blah.
And you look at him and go, if you look at his statements, if a human being says, I want to control the means of production, he is a communist.
Yeah.
Okay.
That's what that is.
There's no debating it.
Oh, I'm a socialist.
Oh, yeah.
Okay, fine.
So by that measure, Mamdami is going to do everything he can in the next three years, everything he can to punish achievement.
That's the hallmark of communism.
You punish those who have been successful.
Punish them.
Take their things, overtax them, let miscreants run wild so they can get hurt.
That is what Communists do.
He fits every single category.
So de Blasio would just run around.
His wife would tell him, I want some bread, go get to the store.
And then the Blas would waddle down to whatever store is closest.
That's not Mandami.
No.
No, no, no, no, no.
So the question, but the question then becomes,
and you've been saying for a long time, you know, you don't really know because it's far off.
It's not far off, but 12 days away.
Will Mom Donnie be celebrating in 12 days?
It's a very tough call because so many people in New York and all across the country don't live in the real world anymore.
So your parents and my parents, they lived in the real world.
They accepted the fact that they were going to have to work hard.
They were going to have to pay their bill.
there was an attitude after he defeated the Axis Powers in Japan that America was and remains the world's
guideline and they want to participate in that.
That's gone now.
It's gone.
And so you have people going to vote, many of them cajoled to do so, told who to vote for,
bust to the polls or their ballot is filled out in advance by someone else.
You have all of this in play.
Now, just on the merits, I mean, Blakeman has kicked her butt.
Right.
Oh, I mean, and I'm not coming at it from a party point of view at all.
I'm coming at it from a journalist's point of view is that what's your
message and how are you delivering it?
And when
the governor of New York State
is confronted with spending
$8 billion with a B
dollars on illegal migrants
and has no answer
to why
that happened or where the blank
and money is,
I mean, you've got a
huge problem here.
But here's a bigger problem.
If you walk in the rainbow
rule, you walk around and say,
How much money did Kathy Hokel a lot to foreign nationals who should not be here?
People aren't going to know.
That's the point.
So you just laid out something that should be enough to be a disqualifier for her to lose.
And yet, yet she's still winning in most polls, and she's still the favorite.
And odds are, in a state that's three to one Democrat, she's going to have a pretty good chance.
And you're right.
Bruce is killing her.
And you just said something again that is really rough.
And it's one of many bad things she's done.
But yet there's a chance she wins.
And when she does win, how am I supposed to feel?
I know I'm a publician, I'm magim, all those things.
But how am I supposed to feel living in a state where they continue,
continue to vote for people who do nothing but destroy it?
How am I supposed to feel?
Well, you kind of just have to hunker down and do the best you can do.
and continue to put your message out there.
That's all you can do in a democracy.
You can't force people to see either way.
And these polls, the reason these polls are so skewed toward Governor Hockel
is because they do take the 3-1 registration and pull off that.
So, Quinipiac, which is a good school in Connecticut,
their polling agency, they don't have 40-50 people in there,
gathering information, they've got three or four people.
And they're going down the voting rolls, and they're seeing most New Yorkers are Democrats.
So they poll most New Yorkers that way.
So you can't win.
But I'm going to not predict because I can't do that at this point because I don't know about turnout.
But I'm going to tell you there are a lot of disenchanted New Yorkers, particularly upstate.
And not Manhattan. That's a machine, all right, in there.
Chester Arthur is responsible for that machine.
If we could dig him up, I would beat him up.
Yeah.
Although, I will tell you that the very famous actress who hates Trump and is a big-time Democrat,
big-time, Deborah Messing has hopped on the Bruce Blakman train, very public about it.
And she says that she's got other Democrat friends who live in Manhattan, the worst of the libs, the worst of the Dems.
They're voting for Bruce.
And they can't let it be known.
Because if they let it be known, they're going to lose work.
And messing is all about Israel.
That's what tilts her into the Blakeman category because she's fed up with the anti-Semitism that never should have been allowed to foster the way.
Remember, these are city schools where this stuff is percolating.
And it goes right down to third, fourth grade down.
So this is a dangerous situation.
But I think I agree with you.
And you know, my leg shake when I say those words, I agree with sit.
My leg shake.
I have to sit down.
That the enthusiasm meter is all.
Blakeman's way. It's all his way. And so if there are enough people outside of New York City,
he'll win. But the bloc, the voting block in New York City, the people who want the communism,
who want the government to control everything they do, to give them money every month in many,
many different forms, to punish achievement. A lot of jealousy. A lot of jail. You walk down
Park Avenue and you're looking at these, you know, silver spooners up there, don't think that the guy
working in, you know, the janitorial department, I don't think that he's real happy with this.
Right. No, you're right. He's not. No, you're right. You're right. You're always right.
You've got to do what's best for your family. Yeah. And it's not best to create a family of
dependence. That's not good for the children or your wife or your uncle or anyone, because there
are pathways to succeed in this country, or else 20 million illegal aliens took a wrong left
heading to Honduras. I thought we're in taking his own up. They ain't going there.
No, no, they're not. Okay? They're coming here. That's right.
And so all logic and all history points to the fact that if New Yorkers want to get back to the things that have made New York and city and state strong, they are not going to do it with this communist crew.
Now, Hockel's not a communist.
She's just weak.
Yeah, she is weak.
She's just weak.
She's also born.
But how many times in history have we seen that?
Go ahead, do whatever you want.
Yeah.
You know, she's not going to talk about because, oh, I might lose some boats in Elmira.
You know, when was the last time that Kathy Hokel made a righteous stand on anything?
Never.
Never.
You know, I mean, I'm sitting here.
I mean, should I root for the Islanders or the Rangers?
I don't know.
You know, like, lady, just do something.
Yeah.
You know, but no, she's a machine Democrat.
at. That's what she is. The Cuomo machine, Andrew, all right, picked her out because they
thought, this woman's not going to cause any trouble. She's going to do exactly what we wanted
to do. And then, boom, she's the governor. Oh, my God, and maybe the governor again. Listen,
again, I'm going to go back to what I said at the top of this conversation. I have a lot of
people to thank. There's no doubt about it. But, man, Bill, you're at the top of the list.
This show started gaining credibility and started getting big ratings when you came on
this show every week. And I really believe that you are the best of all time. I really believe that.
And our relationship, which is now gone above and beyond radio, we're legitimately good friends,
which I know is terrifying to you, has been a blessing from me. So I celebrate this afternoon
with you, Bill O'Reilly. You mean that much to me. I love you. Thank you so much.
Well, you should be very proud of yourself, number one. And I'm this serious now.
you're very proud of yourself for overcoming the obstacles that sometimes yourself induced,
but you overcame them.
But you should know, and I know you're going to cry up there,
and I'd have to come up with a stick and hit you.
You should be very proud of your family.
Because it ain't easy getting up at 3 in the morning or 2.30 or whatever the blank you do,
and trudge in there to WABC five days a week and do four hours of radio.
And your family is about as support of a family as I've ever seen.
Thank you.
They are.
Yes.
Thank you.
They are.
And they love you.
Danielle does for sure.
That doesn't matter in the sense that I don't want to get on Daniel's wrong side.
That's not a good place to be.
You know where a well.
Right.
But there's an extension of people.
that are very proud of you in this rainbow room thing.
And if you don't mind, I'd like a little silverware, if you can, on the way out.
I'll see what I could swipe for you on the way out for sure.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
You're not going to silverware something that look great out there in Montaugh.
Bill, you're great, hilarious, again today, funny, informative.
You're the absolute best ever.
I love you.
Thank you so much.
