Starting point is 00:00:50 I am in West Palm Beach, Florida, not a bad place to be in the middle of March. I am down here, as I explained last night, to have. help Joe Namath, the legendary football quarterback, with his benefit that is this evening. And Joe has become a friend, and he's a very good guy, and a cause to help football players with brain injuries, is top-notch and more, in my opinion. You can help Joe at joanameth1word.org. Anyway, the political scene remains very intense, as you know. Nobody is backing off the hatred, and that's not a good thing. Tribalism has seized control of the entire nation. And I'll do with that in a final thought. I'm trying to break this, by the way. I'm not a
Starting point is 00:01:42 tribe guy, and you know that. You're not here watching me or listening to me if you want ideology. We just don't give it to you. All right? We are a fact-based broadcast, and that is the subject of this evening's talking points because there is a new poll out. Fox News poll. Fox News is, ah, you know, they don't do well presidentially. Um, socially, I don't know. This is 994 registered voters, fair sample. Uh, and they're asking about, uh, President Trump and Congress. Here is question number one. Do you approve the job Trump is doing his president? 49% yes. Disapproved. 51%. Now, that is a tie for Trump's all-time approval rating in this poll, which was April 2020, five years ago. He approved at 49% then. It's a good number for Donald Trump,
Starting point is 00:02:45 particularly because of all the tariffs and all of the chaos and the media continuing to attack him. 49% is a good number for him. You'd be happy with that. And, not many people are in the middle on this. So that's the second question. By party, 92% of Republicans approve of Donald Trump. And I'm going to deal with some of the 8% in a little while that don't. Okay? And 92% of Democrats disapprove. In fact, he drives many of those people absolutely insane. That is tribalism. So there's no wiggle rule. here. Trump good, Trump bad. Okay. I'm kind of like that. I have to be honest with everybody, and I always am. I'm a black and white kind of guy. I don't not live in the gray zone,
Starting point is 00:03:42 but I understand that no president is perfect. Donald Trump makes mistakes, and when he does, I point them out, and he doesn't like that, but that's not my concern. My concern is you. But overall, you know, if I'm comparing Donald Trump in March 2025 to Joe Biden in March 2024, there's no comparison as far as the health of the nation is concerned. None. And Biden is, I can't even explain how bad he was. You know, I take me three hours. is making some mistakes, but his overall goal to be fiscally responsible, to bring more jobs,
Starting point is 00:04:31 more prosperity, and to calm things down overseas is good. Okay, but 92% of the Democrats don't see it that way. The next question is Congress. Do you approve of the job Republicans in Congress do it? Fifty-five percent say yes. No, I'm sorry. Correct that. Fifty-five percent say no. Forty-three percent say yes. All right, nobody likes Congress these days. There are a bunch of pinheads in there. You know that. Not everyone, but, you know, they don't get things done the way they should. On a Democratic side, only 30 percent of Americans approve of the Democrats in Congress. That's because they're mean. And they're dominated by radical leftists, like Ocasio-Cortez, Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren. They dominate.
Starting point is 00:05:20 because the media loves them. They get the airtime. 66% don't like the job Democrats are doing an economy. It's a big number. It's 11% higher than a Republican. Democratic Party is in big trouble. Finally, do you approve of the job J.D. Vance is doing his vice president, approve 45, disapprove 53. That's not fair. It's two months. Vance is VP. It's just not fair. So, let's let the man breathe a little bit. Let's see what he has. I'm sure he'll be tasked with some things.
Starting point is 00:06:01 But that's just off the top of it. That's just an emotional vote doesn't mean anything. All right, so something up is this is polarization. At an all-time high in our modern society here, Nixon was very polarizing in the 60s in the 60s of Vietnam. That was pretty intense. We're way beyond that now. way beyond. Trump is way beyond Nixon as far as polarization is concerned. Civil war is the
Starting point is 00:06:28 worst, and people were killing each other, and that will always be the worst. But now we are a nation that is divided. I don't see detente anytime soon. I'm trying, and I will tell you what we're doing at the end of the program. That is the memo. Let's talk about Elon Musk. Okay, Tesla is being attacked, that's wrong. There have been 19 attacks on Tesla-related situations, 19. Now, this is the FBI, and this is a test for Cash Patel, the new FBI chief. You've got to tamp this down. So some examples, Las Vegas, Molotov cocktails, all right, thrown at a Tesla location, Tuesday of this week. Portland, Oregon, it's still a radical left town. gunshots fired at a Tesla dealership, gunshots, in Tigard, which is just outside of Portland.
Starting point is 00:07:27 And then in Boston area, Littleton, Mass, half dozen Tesla charging stations were set of blaze. So this is domestic terrorism. Got to stop. And I trust the FBI, I'll get these people and prosecute them federally to the full extent of the law. Now, I told Sean Hannity on his program Wednesday, and we have that posted on Bill O'Reilly.com, that my investigation into this shows Antifa is involved. Remember Antifa, Portland, Oregon-based. They don't have an office like Black Lives Matter or anything. They don't do that.
Starting point is 00:08:04 It lives on the Internet, and they have a radical list, and that's how they communicate. But they communicate privately as well to avoid scrutiny from the authorities. So, a lot of these things are Antifa directed. Just keep that in mind. That's going to come out. It's important because when you have a radical group like the Ku Klux Klan, which was destroyed by the federal government, the FBI destroyed it, you got to apply the same pressure on the left, Antifa.
Starting point is 00:08:42 It's not happening in a vacuum. Culture evolves at the speed of light, just like your financial needs. Starting point is 00:09:15 Amazon Pharmacy presents painful thoughts. 20 more minutes to kill in the pharmacy before my prescription is ready. Maybe I'll grab some deeply discounted out-of-season Halloween candy. Hmm, I never had a chocolate pumpkin with raisins before. Those were raisins, right? Next time, use Amazon Pharmacy. We deliver. And, no, those were not raisins.
Starting point is 00:09:42 Amazon Pharmacy. Healthcare just got less painful. Okay. So on television, the conservative commentators are going wild with this Tesla Elon Musk story. Roll the tape. Radical left really is a threat to this country. There's no other way to say it. It is a cancer. And the proof is right here in these videos that we're starting to see everywhere. They're just lighting an American electric car company on fire every chance they get. Those astronauts may not be here safely back on Earth without Elon Musk. People should be rooting for him, thanking him.
Starting point is 00:10:20 But because of his partnership with President Trump, the left has somehow turned anything associated with Musk into a target. That is not free speech. You know, when you see vandalism and hatred and, you know, when will it end when a Tesla driver is pulled out of their car and beaten, you know, with a leftist mob then cheer that. But they seem to be cannibalizing their own ideas. and you know cheering for the failure of someone who could have you know accidentally been the one who moved their progressive agenda more forward than anyone else okay he's talking about you know
Starting point is 00:10:55 global warming and electric cars and all of that now on the left there doesn't seem to be a lot of condemnation of the attacks on Elon Musk and his properties and there was not huge adulation when Space X brought those astronauts home this week. I hope you've noticed that. In fact, some on the left, they kind of like all this. Roll the tape. At least five Tesla's blew up, one from the Molotov and four, because that's just what Tesla's do sometimes.
Starting point is 00:11:29 And no one should be setting fires. You could kill somebody, you could hurt somebody. Elon Musk might not care about other people, but decent Americans should. Elon Musk might not care about other people. You know, I don't know what's happened to him, Kimmel. I had a very good work in relationship with him at one time. I don't know what he's doing.
Starting point is 00:11:57 I don't know what Disney's doing. Disney owns ABC. I don't know what they're doing. I mean, they get the view. They got Kimmel. Good morning, America's fall apart completely. Their World News program, David Muir, that's okay. They're not crazy over there.
Starting point is 00:12:16 I used to work for ABC, so I've got some skin in this game. I was a correspondent under Peter Jennings. But I don't know what Disney's doing. Okay? You're promoting this far-left progressive agenda, Disney. Is that what you really want to do? I guess it is. because they've been doing it for a while.
Starting point is 00:12:38 Now, NBC Comcasts, they do it. No doubt about it. CBS does it. And it's all because of the individuals running these corporations. They make the decisions. If I'm running Disney, I wouldn't cancel the view,
Starting point is 00:12:56 but I would certainly put two conservative women on it. I'd get rid of Joy Behar because she's irresponsible now. I don't believe she's in control of herself. I keep Goldberg. I don't think Whoopi Goldberg should be silenced, right? But bring on to and have two liberals and then have a rotation for a fifth.
Starting point is 00:13:21 You can't do that? Disney? It's not hard. And it would be a better show. So, I don't know. I really, I like Jimmy Kimmel. It hurts me to see this kind of radicalism from him. Hope that I don't like.
Starting point is 00:13:39 I don't like anything about him. Never have. So I don't care what he does. But Kimmel, I got a little skin in the game with him. Sorry about the cliche. All right, Donald Trump's going to sign an executive order. When you're watching this, probably already has, to dissolve the Department of Education. Okay, he's going to dismantle it, and it's gone, but it isn't gone because it's unconstitutional.
Starting point is 00:14:03 Now, Trump does that. He has five White House counsels. They're smart. I know some of them. They know this is unconstitutional, but that's not the point. The point for President Trump is to get this in front of the American people so they see the corruption. Now, why do I say it's unconstitutional?
Starting point is 00:14:27 Well, let me quote from the Constitution, all right? ability to abolish a federal department stems from its legislative power to create and repeal laws. As the Constitution vests, all legislative power in Congress to close the department Congress would need to amend or repeal the law that established it. That is, congress.gov. You can look it up. There isn't a federal judge in the country who's going to say, yeah, you're going to do it. No. But again, that's not the point. They'll go into the system. There'll be a pause on it. What Trump is doing is pretty smart. If you back, he doesn't care, by the way. Donald Trump does not care that the view and the left-wing
Starting point is 00:15:18 media will condemn him. Doesn't. All right? He wants to get the issue in front of everybody. And this is the way to do it. He did the same thing with USAID. The same thing. The same thing. thing okay but it's not abolished and I'll give you this at some moment now why why blow off the Department of Education there is a study from a group called parents defending education says it's a nonpartisan group our investigation says it leans right that's okay doesn't mean the study isn't any good the study says hundreds of millions of dollars of grants to college colleges and high schools and things like that are used for DEI.
Starting point is 00:16:06 And Trump wrote an executive order, it says, no more DEI. So let me give you some examples. Georgia State University got $8 million to launch a class on diversity and social justice, on understanding and applying multicultural concepts, developing awareness of one's cultural identity and on and on and on and on. No, that's based on race. You don't pay for that. If the college wants to have an electric course on that, okay, but the taxpayer shouldn't be required to fund it. How about another one? Indiana University got six million to teach anti-oppression, heterosexism, and white privilege. No. I don't want my
Starting point is 00:17:00 money going to that and on and on and on and on so Donald Trump said we're going to just knock it out so here here's what he's doing so US AID has is not closed all right it has 300 people left 92% have been let go furloughed okay so you just got the department that's what's going to happen to department of it They're just going to follow federal employees and they'll keep a skeleton crew because it's unconstitutional and knock it out. You can't. And that's what the Trump administration will do. Finally, on this issue, you know, fascism and blah, da, do it.
Starting point is 00:17:47 The president of the United States has a responsibility to look out for every single tax dollar where it goes and make sure there's no fraud and there's no violation of federal law. If you sign an executive order, which Trump did, saying no more DEI in the federal government, and you're sending $8 million to a college that's teaching DEI, come on. The states should run their own educations, right? Just like the abortion thing. It goes back to the states because they're on the ground. And then we'll see what states perform well and what states don't. And then the people in those states can vote for better people if they're not performing well.
Starting point is 00:18:35 Does that make sense? Okay. GOP dissent to 92 percent of Republican support President Trump. Who are the other eight? Three of them are in the U.S. Senate. Mitch McConnell hates Trump. Okay? Susan Collins of Maine doesn't hate Trump, but is a liberal Republican.
Starting point is 00:19:00 and Lisa Murkowski of Alaska hates Trump. So two of them hate him. One of them is a liberal, liberal Republican. All right. All of the other senators in the Republican side will support pretty much everything Trump does. There's only one congressman on the Republican side in the House that won't cooperate with Donald Trump.
Starting point is 00:19:28 and that's this guy Massey, right, from Kentucky. He's a nitwit. I don't know how he got elected, but you people in Kentucky, you ought to take a look at this guy. Anyway, here's what Murkowski said about the Trump administration. Go. Well, figure it out,
Starting point is 00:19:49 because they're looking at how many things are being thrown at me, and it's like, maybe I just better duck and cover. That's why you've got everybody just, like zip lip not saying a word because they're afraid they're going to be taken down they're going to be primaried they're going to be they're going to be given uh names in the in the media um you know what we cannot be cowed into um into not speaking up meet the most capable carv Honda has ever dreamed up the all new CRV trail sport hybrid with all-terrain tires enhanced traction control. Starting point is 00:21:26 That's true. And this isn't what aboutism, but Donald Trump learned that from Nancy Pelosi, who was by far the most vicious Speaker of the House since, I don't even think of anybody. I think she's the most vicious Speaker of the House in the History of the House of Representatives. That's what Pelosi did. Okay? That doesn't justify anything. I'm just giving you the history on it.
Starting point is 00:21:48 Now, I would not vote for Lisa Murkowski, not because she dissents from Trump. I kind of admire that she has the pluck to be an independent thinker. But Lisa Murkowski does not have a traditional point of view for this country. And most Republican voters are traditionalists. They believe that we live in a noble nation and that we are powerful because of our traditions, generally speaking. And we're not talking about slavery or appropriation of Native American lands. We're not talking about that. Every country has horrors.
Starting point is 00:22:25 But we're talking about overall. Lisa Berkowski doesn't believe that. She's a zealot in certain issues like abortion. She loves abortion. Okay? I don't. I don't love it. I wouldn't outlaw it, but I think it's absolutely a ultra-serious situation when you take the life of the fetus.
Starting point is 00:22:46 McCauce doesn't care. So she and I are not anywhere near where I would vote for her. I would consider the Democrat who ran against her in Alaska. But Murkowski is what I call a issue-oriented politician. She has no use for Trump because Trump is a traditionalist. So she votes against it, almost all the time. It's okay. The people in Alaska elected her.
Starting point is 00:23:16 I don't think she'll be re-elected. I can make that prediction now. But that's where we are. So there is a very minute dissent on a part of Republicans. But if you are a Republican politician in Congress and you go against Trump, Trump's going to try to hurt you. That is true. Okay.
Starting point is 00:23:38 Media madness. So this is a little complicated. NBC News has let MSNBC go. It's up for sale. You could buy it if you have the money. I know a billionaire, and I'm trying to convince that man to buy MSNBC, because I think you could turn it into something that would be positive for the nation. You have to fire 80% of people there, but you can do that. But NBC still has a legal obligation. So whatever is done on MSNBC,
Starting point is 00:24:15 you can sue NBC, the parent company, Comcast out of Philadelphia. So now they got lawyers, NBC lawyers, watching everything, because that place is a pit of defamation. So this week alone, they had an issue two on-air corrections. Go. Last night, the last word reported on excerpts of an interview between the Director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard, and an Indian TV news network in which she said Trump was good friends with a world leader. Now, we said that world leader was Vladimir Putin, but the full interview was
Starting point is 00:24:51 subsequently released, and it showed that Gabbard was referring to Donald Trump and the Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi. Okay, so you don't make mistakes like that unless you hate Trump, which that guy does. So you get the full transcript. I don't care about that. But he was forced. They forced them. They, the lawyers, the NBC lawyers, to say that.
Starting point is 00:25:17 Here's the second one. Go. And the reason we put an insurrectionist in a rape. in office is because for the first time in our nation's history, a 30-year-old man or woman isn't doing as well as his or her parents were at 30. I want to make a comment, though, just about a word that was used in this interview. Donald Trump was tried civilly and was found liable of sexual abuse, not rape. But the judge in the case likened his actions to rape,
Starting point is 00:25:46 but the liability was officially called sexual abuse. It's embarrassing. Now, what's really embarrassing is you book a guest like Scott Galloway, who's an irresponsible zealot. Why would you put that guy on the air? You know what he's going to say. He's a college professor. He's a radical leftist.
Starting point is 00:26:07 Why would you put him out of air? Because you want a bash drop. That's why. So, I don't know, people over there, when you have two powerful organizations like this, like Disney and NBC, and you're every day running this stuff out, the corporations, and Trump is kind of hinted around this, that he's kind of fed up with this kind of stuff. So I hate to be repetitive. You know me.
Starting point is 00:26:41 I like to advance, advance, advance. But something interesting happened on The View this week. Let's roll the tape on that. I hate to make speeches, but my father, my uncles, all fought in World War II so that we would not have a fascist in the White House. And this is what we're getting right now. And I can almost cry today for these people, these vets who are losing everything, why don't the Democrats go out there and march and stop fighting with each other? I'm sick of it. Well, I don't know, Joy, that they're fighting with each other.
Starting point is 00:27:11 They're not fighting a unified fight. That is the problem. All right. So, look, number one, the vets aren't losing everything. That's ridiculous. Number two, she says, I don't like to make speeches. I was like saying Trump doesn't like to make speeches. So Disney, as I just mentioned, what are you doing every day?
Starting point is 00:27:33 Why? Why are you doing this? The minuscule amount of money you make on that show, you only got two million viewers, maybe a few more. I'm making that much money on it. Ah, it's crazy. Happiness. Are you a happy person?
Starting point is 00:27:55 When they ask me that, I go depending on what day it is. So the United States is not a happy country, according to Gallup, that issues an annual world happiness report. Let me explain this to you. So what it comes down to in America are two things. and more of us are being isolated, that we eat alone, we live alone, we don't have a lot of companionship, and the world is kind of closing in. The other is the younger Americans who don't want to compete. This is the most competitive society on earth. You live in Russia,
Starting point is 00:28:33 China, you're told what to do, and you better do it. In Europe, it's cradle of grave entitlements. There's no incentive to go beyond that. If you make a lot of money, you have to move to America. All right, hello, Paul McCartney, and every English rock star. Okay, so here we compete. Competition's hard. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. When you lose, you're not happy. If you never compete, like in the communist countries, there's no competition. You do what you're told. In the EU, it's like, oh, you know, I'm only going to work five hours a day. why should I work any more, they're taxing me at 80%. Try to get a sandwich at 1 p.m. in Stockholm.
Starting point is 00:29:19 Not going to do it. All right. So once you get into the population is getting isolated because our family structure is breaking down here, unfortunately, and the competition is still very intense. You get a lot of romantic people. Here is a list at a gallop of the happiest countries. All right, I'll run them now.
Starting point is 00:29:41 Finland, oh, you better have earmuffs. But if you have earmuffs, a big coat and mittens, you could be happy. Finland's very few fins, and they seem to be having a good time doing whatever they do over there. Denmark, no other Scandinavian, Iceland, okay, Sweden, Scandinavian, Netherlands, Cradle of the Grave, all of those countries. Costa Rica is happy. I didn't really like Costa Rica when I was there, but I'm happy, they're happy. Norway, no other Scandinavian, Israel. The Jews in Israel are happy, I guess, because nobody's, I guess, because they have freedom over there and every place else to get hammered.
Starting point is 00:30:25 Luxembourg, tiny little European country, Mexico, they're happy. I don't believe that for a second. If they were so happy, why are millions coming to America? If you're thirsting for asphalt's melting your work boots, tape measure has anger issues, nail guns talking smack again, and hard hat baked onto head-level refreshment, we definitely have that. Not too many people live there. A lot of stuff to do. New Zealand, I have not been. I want to go. They're happy. Switzerland is happy. A lot of yodeling. Belgium, okay. In Ireland, they're happy in Irish. Ireland, because the pubs stay open to about one instead of, they used to have to close 10. Now, I am making fun of Ireland, the Irish. I just,
Starting point is 00:32:05 If I had said, because the pub stay open later, the pubs stay open later, about another ethnic group, canceled, hello, but Irish, you can do that. You can do that. And I'm glad we have a sense of humor about ourselves. So those are the 15 happiest country. United States ranks 24th in world happiness. our highest we ever got was 11th in 2012. We are not happy campers. All right, the secret to happiness, smart life.
Starting point is 00:32:40 I'm going to give you some important tips here. Number one is you have to control your life. And I know that's hard. So you have a job, you get a bad boss, making you miserable. You've got to leave the job, not right away. you find another job and then you go see you boss isn't going to change
Starting point is 00:33:01 I had to do that a number of times I remember I was working in Denver and I loved it there KMGH TV I did great I was really ascendant and then they had
Starting point is 00:33:14 a management change and they brought in this idiot and I went I'm not working for this guy so I got another job now it took me about six months but I knew right away I'm not going to work for him
Starting point is 00:33:24 so I'll tell you got to do that That's number one. Control your life. Sometimes you can't. Say you got an out-of-control kid. That's really tough. All right. But you got to try.
Starting point is 00:33:37 Money. You got to have it in America. Got to. Got to make it, got to save it. Okay? Companionship. Got to have it. But choose wisely.
Starting point is 00:33:50 Be patient. No substance abuse. You're involved with that? You're not going to be. be happy all right so you want to be happy be loyal be a good friend keep in touch do kind things to other people I guarantee 100% you adopt that philosophy you'll be happy hydration now this is a riot a company called true lemon put out a pole is bogus totally so there's more water you drink the happier you are
Starting point is 00:34:22 so they did this because they sell water So anyway, if you've noticed the urchins, the younger, the under 30, it's like they're camels with the water. Now I go to Mass, and people bring water bottles to Mass. I guess I hoping the priest changes the water to wine. I don't know what they're doing.
