Starting point is 00:00:00 Welcome to the no-spin news on Tuesday, June 18th, 2019, Take Your Country Back. The far left is taking control of the Democrat Party's agenda. Just today, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez came out and said that the United States is concentration camps on the southern border. That we are detaining migrants in concentration camps will take. The United States is running concentration camps on our southern border. And that is exactly what they are. They are concentration camps. And if that doesn't bother you, I don't...
Starting point is 00:00:50 I don't... I like, we can have... Okay, whatever. I want to talk to the people that are concerned enough with... humanity to say that we should not that never again means something and that the fact that concentration camps are now an institutionalized practice in the home of the free is extraordinarily disturbing and we need to do something about it okay so any clear thinking person knows that is insane and that the Congresswoman doesn't really know what she's
Starting point is 00:01:32 talking about. The one thing that she did is you would clarify, he said, well, concentration camps are different than death camps. That's true. Auschwitz was a death camp. You sent there by the Nazis, you die. Docow was a concentration camp for dissidents and other people Nazis didn't like. You didn't necessarily die there, but you could. And they did have chambers, gas chambers there. But what Ms. Cortez does not understand is that there aren't concentration camps anywhere in the USA, that we as a nation have a right to hold people who cross into our territory illegally. We detain them, and we detain them in camps. You could call them camps, but they're not concentration camps.
Starting point is 00:02:25 We're not trying to hurt them. We have to put them somewhere. And the United States government releases millions of people. Just releases them. A lot of Americans object to that. So Bernard Whitman is the founder and CEO of Whitman Insight Strategies in New York City. This is a crew that does research, not only for political concerns, but in private as well. They do political consult.
Starting point is 00:02:55 They advise campaigns and candidates. First a quick break. Here's something interesting. Glenn Beck launched real estate agents I trust.com for a very simple reason to help you sell your home quickly and for top dollar. Selling or buying a home is very complicated and difficult to navigate,
Starting point is 00:03:15 so they chose agents with a long track record of success. Market value for your home cannot be done by calculation. It just can't. It takes years of expertise to evaluate your market to price your home and to sell quickly for top dollar. Home sellers must genuinely like the agent they choose to trust their home to, and that's why Beck and his team select agents that are fans of his, like you are. So get moving with real estate agents.itrust.com. real estate agents, I trust.com. First of all, Mr. Whitman, would you think it would be smart for President Trump in his
Starting point is 00:04:03 reelection campaign to highlight that the far left is pretty much run a while right now? Well, Bill, thank you for having me. And I mean, the fact is he's already done that. And he's taken advantage of the fact that we do have a couple high profile, big name folks that run pretty far to the left, certainly farther to the left than me. farther to the left than many mainstream Democrats. And I think he's already tried to sort of brand the Democrats as Socialists.
Starting point is 00:04:29 I think it's going to be incumbent upon the lead contenders and we'll get to that in the moment to really stake a claim for what they believe in. I don't think, with very few exceptions, any are Democratic Socialists or Socialists, obviously Bernie Sanders being the most prominent one in AOC being another. But the rest of the field, I think, is far more modern.
Starting point is 00:04:46 I think some of the candidates that are more sort of central left have drifted leftward. And I think that's going to present an opportunity for candidates who are more moderate, more pragmatic, and more in the middle, to make a case. And I think those are afraid. They're afraid they'll be attacked in social media by the far left, like Biden was.
Starting point is 00:05:05 They're afraid. Well, and that makes sense, because that's where a lot of the energy is. That's where a lot of the conversation is. That's where a lot of the puntery is. But the truth is, the American people aren't there. And that's why I think you see Joe Biden leading the polls. And I think that's also helps explain Buttigieg,
Starting point is 00:05:21 Mayor Pete Buttigieg from South Penn, Indiana, his rise, because he is certainly far more pragmatic, middle of road, mainstream America, small town, Midwest. And I think he's going to be one of the five to ride this all the way. Give us the names of the five that you think are going to break out from the 24. And I think this has been consistent in polling as well. And we'll talk about the utility and value of that. But clearly Biden, you really see through the polls five tiers, if you will. Biden is in tier by himself, getting about 30 to 35 percent, a little less in Iowa, about 30, 35 percent. Sanders is in sort of the second tier, typically in the 15 to 20 range.
Starting point is 00:06:01 Then you have Elizabeth Warren. I would put her in her own tier. In third tier, she's about 10 to 15 points, a little bit better in Iowa, so that's good for her. Then you have the fourth tier, which is really Harris, Kamala Harris, and Pete Buttigieg, running about 5 to 10 percent in the polls. Buttigieg actually does better in Iowa and better. and then New Hampshire, then that five to 10. And then you have Tier 5, which is everybody else that's running about Tier 5.
Starting point is 00:06:23 All right, I agree. I think Biden and Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, but a judge, and Harris will be the ones that probably go forward. You know, I hope, Mr. Whitman, you'll come back. You're a smart guy, and you see it a little bit differently than I do, and that's always interesting. And thanks for taking the time of helping us out today. Thank you so much, Bill.
Starting point is 00:06:46 I appreciate it. All right. What do you have new in the store? We have, if you get three premium member certificates to give out as gifts, we'll give you a free membership for a year. That's new. If you buy all eight killing books, free membership for life. Quick break, back with the final thought about a backlash against political correctness. Don't miss this.
Starting point is 00:07:15 One moment from now. Recently, I had a great conversation with the CEO of the Hartford Gold Group, Sanford Man. He's a true entrepreneur. I like those kind of guys, looking to provide customers with the best possible experience when they invest in physical gold and silver. So right now, the Hartford Gold Group is giving you a free silver coin to viewers of the no-spin news exclusively. Starting point is 00:08:04 All right, this is my final thought of the day. The Supreme Court handed down a ruling that said a couple of cases in Oregon and one other case. where people, bakers, and people didn't want to participate in gay weddings, and they sued and said the gay sued and said they were being discriminated against. Supreme Court ruled, you may remember, in Colorado, seven to two, all right, that the state cannot punish people or force them to do anything goes against their religious beliefs. Seven to two. That's big.
Starting point is 00:08:45 So if you're a baker, a candlestick maker, whatever you are, and you don't want to participate in whatever it may be because it legitimately violates your rights as a religious person, you don't have to. So the Supreme Court, all these cases are going on there kicking them back. They're going to look, we already ruled on this. We're not going to spend more time ruling on it. So our ruling is going to stand. And therefore, the bakers and the candlestick and everybody else don't get punished. So this is a backlash against the political correctness that seeks to punish freedom of speech, freedom of religion, all of that. You don't agree with these loons on the far left. They're going to hurt you. They're going to come after you.
Starting point is 00:09:33 And they had no rules, these people. Honestly, it means nothing to that. There's nothing like that on the far right, interestingly enough, because fanatics are fanatics. There are people on a far right want to hurt you, the Nazis and all those crazy people. But the far left is organized, well funded. They don't want any opposition to their crazy stuff. Supreme Court basically sent it a message. And that's the final thought. And I hope you join us tomorrow.
