Starting point is 00:01:00 Hey Bill O'Reilly here. Welcome to the No Spin News for Monday, November 10, 2025, stand up for your country. Another busy week. Every hour on the hour, something happens, which is, you know, keeps me in business. It gets a little tedious once in a while, but I'm not going to whine about it. all ramping up for the holiday season. And people are spending money. You know, I went out to L.A. on Wednesday night. Airport was packed on a Wednesday night. No holidays. I mean, it was jam packed. Flight to L.A. sold out. So Americans are doing what they always do.
Starting point is 00:01:53 They're traveling, spending money. I mean, I know some are cutting back, but boy, I got to tell you, And everywhere I went this weekend in L.A., Southern California, tons of people, spending money. American consumers drive this economy and the worldwide economy. And they need the government to be open to maximize American potential. And that is the subject of this evening talking about it. So finally, after 41 days, And this was all contrived.
Starting point is 00:02:31 I'll explain it in a moment. The government is now, looks like it's going to be reopened. They're a little more procedural things. But they got 60 senators to OK, opening up the government. And 10, eight Democrats, eight Democratic senators. And if you want their names, they're all you got to do is Google and then pop up there. And they said, okay. But, you know, most Democrats want to be.
Starting point is 00:03:00 to keep the government closed, because they closed it. The Democratic Party closed it. What the Republican proposition was, well, look, just extend the government spending into January, because this is another rigor Moreau has to go in January, and we'll talk about the extension of Obamacare fees. That's what was all about, health care. And Democrat said, no, you've got to give everything we want now. And Trump said, blank you, we're not giving you everything you want.
Starting point is 00:03:30 government shut down. That's it. That's it. Now, the Democrats believe they won this controversy because of the election last week. Maybe they did. The polls are back and forth, but a lot of polls say that American people blame Republicans. Okay, that's not true, but what are you going to do? So anyway, it's a complicated but interesting, and how corrupt our government is. It is corrupt. It's still the best government in the world as far as our freedom is concerned, but it's corrupt. So Schumer, the senator from New York, who's the minority leader, he wanted to keep the government closed. And since it's not going to stay closed. There are left-wing Democrats who are mad at Schumer. Roll the tape.
Starting point is 00:04:34 Breaking news. Chuck Schumer needs to be replaced as minority leader for caving to Donald Trump. Look, I may be the first and only member of Congress to say this, but someone needs to start speaking the truth. If you're not willing to fight to stop premium hikes on 20 million Americans, then what are you willing to fight for? There's no premium hikes. There is going back before COVID, because during COVID, so many people were ill, the government had to spend the money to help those people who were ill. And now by law, the spending for Obamacare is supposed to go back to pre-COVID letter.
Starting point is 00:05:19 But Democrats don't want that. Roe Conner doesn't want that. He wants to keep the COVID-level spending and then add to it. it, the ultimate goal being the national health care system is run by Washington, D.C. That's what the Democratic Party wants. Okay. Now, Schumer, you may remember, last March voted to keep the government open. Okay.
Starting point is 00:05:46 He was savagely attacked by the far left. Roll the tape. Schumer signaled he was going to fight, and then he didn't. fight. Why was there such a disconnect, not even between House leadership and Senate leadership, but between what the Senate Minority Leader was saying and then what he ultimately did? Because Schumer acted responsibly in March. But he got hammered so badly that he said, never again, now I'm going to be irresponsible. And he is. And he was intimidated by the far left because Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is going to primary Schumer,
Starting point is 00:06:29 and she'll beat him in New York State, unless things change. I don't think Schumer's even going to try it, okay? He'll hang it up. I think the elections in four years or whatever. But Schumer does not want to be brutalized by the far left. He's a coward. He is. He's always been that way.
Starting point is 00:06:50 They're not going to stand up for anybody but himself. So Schumer knows the right thing to do is to keep the government help, but he's not going to do it because he voted against it because he doesn't want to get that grief again. And that's the truth. That's absolutely true. Now, Schumer doesn't really care about, in my opinion, that could be wrong, socializing medicine in this country, cares about himself, as I said. That's it. It's to hold on to his power. But the real far left, liberals, they want that socialized medicine. Let me just give you one startling fact, and our friends in Canada can confirm this.
Starting point is 00:07:28 There are about 40 million Canadians. There are 343 million Americans. So like Sweden and like other European countries, Ottawa runs the health care system. And it tells the doctors what they're going to make and the nurses and the drug companies and sets all the prices. Well, if you want a knee replacement or any kind of what they call elective surgery, you've got to wait a long time in Canada. Sometimes more than a year. You'll be limping around if you need a knee. Okay.
Starting point is 00:08:02 So many Canadians come to the United States. There's also a shortage of surgeons in Canada. If you know that? Because why spend all that money going to medical school and all that time? and then you get out and you're making, you know, okay money, but you're not making American doctor money. So if that, the Canadian system were brought down here. And I was talking to Howie Mandel about that.
Starting point is 00:08:34 He's a Canadian Mandel. And I was on his podcast. I think it's going to be out tomorrow, but we'll signal you that when it comes out. And I was talking to him saying, Howie, the American health care system will collapse. because many, perhaps most doctors, particularly in Los Angeles, New York to big cities, they're not going to go into the government-run system.
Starting point is 00:08:57 They'll go to concierge service, and they'll charge whatever they want to charge, and the Constitution allows them to do that. Governments are they able to force them. So you have two tiers. The wealthy people, like O'Reilly and Howie Mandel, we can buy the concierge service and get our knees replaced any time we want. But the regular folks can't. They'll get much less care.
Starting point is 00:09:22 They'll get physicians' assistance instead of doctors, because there will be a shortage of doctors if the government runs it. So all it is, I'm sorry to be complicated, but everybody, all of us watching me, listening to me, you're all going to have to go into the health care system, even if you're healthy now. Mom will go wrong. Just know what you're doing.
Starting point is 00:09:47 And that's the memo. So Donald Trump under severe pressure for high prices, particularly on food, says that he wants to give everybody $2,000 unless you're rich. Not going to rid of the rich people $2,000. Fine. I don't want $2,000. I don't want $2,000 from the federal government. I don't want anything other than what I paid into, which is Social Security and Medicare.
Starting point is 00:10:11 I want that because I paid it. It's my money. But do I want President Trump give me $2,000? No. Have you heard about gold belly? It's an amazing site that celebrates the best of America by shipping our country's most iconic foods from legendary restaurants straight to your door anywhere in the USA. Great deal. Let's face it, the U.S. economy is under stress. National debt rising, trade war, shaking the markets.
Starting point is 00:11:32 And meanwhile, China is dumping the dollar and stockpiling gold. That's why I protect. my savings with physical gold and silver through the only dealer I trust, American Hartford Gold. And you can do this. Get precious metals delivered to your door or place in a tax advantage, gold IRA. They'll even help you roll over your existing IRA or 401K, tax and penalty free. Starting point is 00:12:37 How is this going to happen? How is everybody going to eat a $2,000 check from the federal government? Well, nobody knows. So maybe the president will define it, but that caught a lot of people by surprise. He said it just yesterday. And I wouldn't be surprised if it happens. He says he's going to use tariff money, give everybody a lot of money, a lot of relief. I wouldn't be surprised.
Starting point is 00:13:02 It's vote buying, no doubt, but many Americans are suffering. suffering. They're broke. So we'll watch it. It's not going to be easy, and Congress may have to pass this. Not going to be easy. The loyal opposition, I don't know who that is anymore. It's not the Democratic Party, that's for sure. It used to be that when a president left office, he did not directly criticize his predecessor. There was kind of an unwritten rule that that put place. You didn't hear Reagan bash Carter a lot. You didn't hear Clinton bash Bush the elder. In fact, they were friends. And Obama didn't really, a little bit, but you didn't open up on Trump the first term. Well, Joe Biden was in Omaha, Nebraska on Friday, and said this, go.
Starting point is 00:13:55 Now we have a president who's deliberately making hunger worse for Americans. Today, in the United States of America, one in five children, one in five children, go to bed hungry every night. No, it's more than boo. It is a disgrace. It's immoral. It's wrong. Simply wrong. Why didn't you do anything about him for four years?
Starting point is 00:14:27 It just didn't happen. I don't even know where that stat comes from. that comes from, but say it's true. One in five American children are hungry when I go to bed. I don't believe it, but possible. Well, why don't you do anything about it? You know, four years, Trump's been in office 11 months, less than 11 months. You know, does anybody in the crowd say, wait, Joe, I mean, if they're hungry, that takes a while for that kind of a situation to evolve. Why didn't you, why don't you do it? Because it's not true and Biden doesn't care anyway. Let me give you one stat. 2001, when Biden took over from Trump, there were 325,000 homeless
Starting point is 00:15:15 people in America, 325,000 according to the Department of Housing and Urban Development. And when he left, there was 775,000, up about 70% under Joe Biden's four years. Why, Joe? Why? How come there's so many homeless me? Because if you're homeless, then you have hungry kids. Of your family and home, yeah, then I'd say, yeah. Well, how come?
Starting point is 00:15:46 Joe? Fony garbage. Nancy Pelosi's hanging it up, 85 years old. 37 years in Congress. Boy, that's the best argument for term limits I could think of. So here's the stat, according to New York Post. In her 37 years in office,
Starting point is 00:16:13 she made $130 million. in the stock market. Oh! Paul Pelosi, your husband's an investor. Now, and it's supposed to be legislation about saying that if you're in Congress, you can't buy stocks, your family can't buy. You've got to put your money in trust.
Starting point is 00:16:35 I'd support that. Not Nancy. You didn't want any part of that. $130 million. You wonder why our government's corrupt? Now, how did you make the money? All congresspeople and senators get inside information about who the government's going to do business with, what corporations, what companies, what products are going to be approved, on and on and on and on. Nancy, hey, Chicago.
Starting point is 00:17:02 So apparently on Saturday, somebody drove off in a black Jeep and fired three shots at ICE agents. They're in the middle of something called the Operation Midway Blitz. They're arresting undocumented migrants in the Windy City, and somebody tried to kill him. The person got away. Not unusual in Chicago. Okay. The Chicago Police Department did respond. Don't expect anybody to be arrested.
Starting point is 00:17:36 Okay. Now, this helps Donald Trump when he wants to send in guard and marshals and FBI in Chicago, right? You shouldn't have trying to kill him. According to just the news that John Solomon's operation, vacancies in downtown Chicago called a Miracle Mile are at a record high 28%. Everybody moving out of downtown, too much crime and chaos. It's according to John Solomon. Oregon, the National Guard is outside the city.
Starting point is 00:18:11 But Judge Karen Emmergut, who was appointed by Trump, said they came. a win. Boiling it down, there's not enough violence against the federal agents in Portland, according to the judge, to allow a federal intrusion into that city. National Guard might have to get involved. National Guard. Supreme Court might have to get involved. The judge is holding and blocking that right now. Okay, now you've heard the Democratic Party. Chuck Schumer again, we're picking on Chuck today. I'm going to play Chuck Soundby first, so get ready in the booth. Okay, so Chuck says, the Republican Party is lying, President Trump is lying,
Starting point is 00:19:01 Bill O'Reilly is lying, when all of them say that health care money is going to undocumented migrants. Okay? So by law, that's not supposed to happen, that if you're not American citizen, not supposed to get health care money for the taxpayer. Here's what Chuck says. Go. The federal government, by law, that we passed, does not fund health insurance for undocumented in immigrants in Medicaid, period, nor the ACA, nor Medicare.
Starting point is 00:19:40 Undocumented immigrants do not get federal health insurance. insurance, premiums, period. Period. They're lying. No. According to, um, open the books, which is a watchdog group for federal spending, um, federal health related grants, that's money coming from Washington to the individual states totaled $200 million since 2021. Get us by it. So the national institutions, Institute of Health. I'm going to give you some examples here. Throw that up on a screen, I'll read it to you, Lusiana Radio. UCLA, for example, and the University of Miami have both gotten a lot of money. UCLA 2.4 million to research health care access among Asian immigrant
Starting point is 00:20:33 women. University of Miami, a million to study on culture, retail, and intervention present drunk driving in immigrant communities, and on and on and on and on. Okay, so California benefits most. They have given the undocumented population out there $66 million. Florida, $26 million. Does Santis know about that? It's not his money. Okay, you know, Fed sent it to him and he did it.
Starting point is 00:21:08 And D.C., 22 million. So this is all. gamesmanship. They just tell you, oh, it's a lot, it's a lot. But we all know that American tax dollars are going hundreds of millions to undocumented people. And that doesn't even count the Medicaid scam that the Fed send money to the states like Oregon and Washington State and California for Medicaid. And then they divert the Medicaid money, the state government's due to undocumented people. I don't even count that.
Starting point is 00:21:43 Media Manus. So the British Broadcasting Corporation is on everywhere in the world, and it is the big media platform in Great Britain. It's amazing what they did. They hate Donald Trump. Despise them. So every day, Trump's the devil. That's when you go to England and you go to any of the Commonwealth countries, they hate them.
Starting point is 00:22:08 They hate Trump, because they see this BBC some. So in a program called Panorama, they ran a sound clip in October of 2024 about the 2020 election. Roll it. We're going to walk down to the Capitol, and I'll be there with you, and we fight. We fight like hell. And if you don't fight like hell, you're not going to have a country anymore. Okay, so that's a clip they ran. Here's what President Trump actually said.
Starting point is 00:22:42 Go. We're going to walk down and I'll be there with you. We're going to walk down. We're going to walk down anyone you want, but I think right here we're going to walk down to the Capitol. And we're going to cheer on our brave senators and congressmen and women. And we're probably not going to be cheering. so much for some of them, because you'll never take back our country with weakness.
Starting point is 00:23:16 All right, so the BBC used two separate sound bites and merged them into one, didn't tell their viewers, with the fight stuff. All right, so two BBC executives have been fired, the top two, Tim Davy and Deborah Turnus. And today, President Trump announced he's going to sue the BBC for one billion with a B dollars. Now, BBC apologizes, not good enough, because these people would not have done that if they didn't think they were going to be able to get away with it. There's a culture at the BBC. I know it. I know some of these people. And if they hate you, they're going after you. But to do that, what they did, to edit in a false way. That's annoying. What? You're a muffler. You don't hear it? Oh, I don't even notice.
Starting point is 00:24:04 I usually drown it out with the radio. How's this? Oh, yeah, way better. Save on insurance by switching to Bell Air Direct and use the money to fix your car. Bell Air Direct, insurance, simplified. Conditions apply. You know what's better than the one big thing?
Starting point is 00:24:18 Two big things. Exactly. The new iPhone 17 Pro on TELUS's five-year rate plan price lock. Yep, it's the most powerful iPhone ever, plus more peace of mind with your bill over five years. This is big. Get the new iPhone 17 Pro at Tell us

Starting point is 00:25:50 I mean, millions of Americans have died for their country since the Revolutionary War. And I am participating in a special on News Nation. It will run 10 p.m. tomorrow night Tuesday on America's greatest warriors and some who were not that great who everybody thinks were good roll the tape it's the mid-1800s the colonies have been liberated by George Washington and the young nation has been strengthened by Andrew Jackson but now the Civil War calls on new heroes to
Starting point is 00:26:32 keep a fractured union intact. General Ulysses S. Grant came from humble beginnings and rose to lead the Union Army against the rebellious South. His willingness to make hard decisions led him first to victory, then to the White House. He was a hero of the Civil War. Without Grant, it might have been a stalemate. Because McClellan, who was the first commander, he was a coward. and his troops did not respect him. And then Lincoln went through three, four guys. And they were terrible.
Starting point is 00:27:10 And finally, he drags grand, who's out in the hinterlands, because this guy with least will fight. So we analyze all the big generals all throughout history and yes, in some surprises. So joining us now from New York City is Leland Vitter, the correspondent on the special. And, of course, the author of the book, Born Lucky, big bestseller, dedicated father, grateful son, my journey with autism.
Starting point is 00:27:42 And anything surprised you about the special, Leland? Yeah, I think it could have been five segments. We spent the day at West Point, Bill, after I interviewed you. And they gave us the head of the history department at West Point to take us through the generals and the lessons learned. And it was, I think, one of the top 10 or 15 days of my life listening to him, and our viewers are going to get a taste of that, of the very best, and to walk around the plane, the parade ground at West Point, and see the statues of Washington and Grant of Eisenhower, of Patton, and then bring those alive on the screen is this just sort of great juxtaposition of the history we know. know, and then the history that will be written by those cadets now at West Point? Now, I didn't see the special yet, but they say it's very good.
Starting point is 00:28:42 And I think it's important for Americans who really don't know a lot, generally speaking, because public schools don't teach history anymore, about their leadership on a battlefield. Because we tend to mythologize our generals and our generals. military now. It's not like Vietnam where the military was, whoa, you know, they were getting hammered unfairly. But we talk a little bit about Vietnam and the poor leadership that led to that debacle. And then, of course, we talk about the modern wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. But what I took away from it was that, and I'm not going to, I don't want to give it away,
Starting point is 00:29:27 but you asked me who the greatest American general was. Don't give it away. We want people to watch the special. And my answer surprised you, right? It did. And I would say that the person at West Point, who we interviewed, the head of the history department at West Point,
Starting point is 00:29:45 disagrees with you, Bill. So we kind of, yeah, we adjudicate that in the special. Oh. But I didn't get to rebut him. See, you interviewed him after me. Oh, you see, that's what happens when you do your special. interview first. Sorry. Okay. So there is a lot of stuff swirling around. Now, one of the guys that you and I kind of went up against was McArthur, General MacArthur in World War II, who was,
Starting point is 00:30:12 you know, a good general, sure, but so many deficits. And you kind of disagreed a little with that, right? I did. And we went to the MacArthur statue, right, at West Point and looked at due to do the honor and country, the speech he gave. Old soldiers never die. They just fade away and went through that with this head of the history department about why MacArthur as a soldier has a different meaning as a general than other generals, than Pershing and others that you and I talked about, Pat and Grant, on and on. What I think was most interesting is, and we tried to do this in the specials, we tried to find common themes between all these men. and probably what was the most common and most important theme was their ability to gain
Starting point is 00:31:03 the respect of their troops. And we pointed that out. You talked about that just now about Grant and then in the Civil War with McClellan, McClellan's problem. But that was the common characteristic. How they did that through all the different generals is totally different. You know, you think about somebody like Eisenhower and Patton couldn't be more juxtapose. Eisenhower and MacArthur, very different personalities, but yet would become such amazing leaders. Yeah, I mean, there's a lot in there, and I want people again, it's on Tuesday tomorrow at 10 p.m. News Nation. So just a quick question, the book, pretty impressive, Leland. You know, I'm glad it's out.
Starting point is 00:31:50 It's an excellent Christmas and a holiday gift because it gives hope to so many people who have, children, not only with autism, but other learning disabilities. And people, parents need to have perspective. When you did the media for the book, it was mostly friendly media, nobody was mean to you, right? No, I think that's what's so amazing, right, Bill? I did everything from you and Steve Bannon all the way through Joe Scarborough for Born Lucky, talking about the story of my dad when I was diagnosed with autism, adapting me to the world rather than the world to me. And you talk about finding a topic in America right now that Joe Scarborough and you and Steve Bannon can agree on and almost come to tears at different times talking about it has been this story of
Starting point is 00:32:40 born lucky. And you said it's a message of hope. And I appreciate, Bill, you're talking about how it's been a bestseller. And thank you to anybody who's come on this journey with us and bought the book. But to me, what has been most important about the reception is the emails and the letters and the phone calls and the text messages and the social media posts from hundreds, if not thousands of people I've never known thanking me for telling them and showing them that they're not alone, thanking me and telling them that there is hope for every parent of a kid. Yeah, that's the key to it. All right, the book is born lucky. And I will see you at 9 p.m. Eastern tonight for the Leland Vitter program on a News Nation. All right. So I'm sure.
Starting point is 00:33:22 show you sort of Bill Maher stuff with me. And we're going to run a little bit of that in about two minutes here. But that was a little bit of it tonight, too. Yeah, that was a pretty interesting back and forth. All right, Lee, Lynn, we'll see you tonight. Thanks. Taking the time. See, Bill. Back with Bill Mar in a moment. Okay, final thought. So I did Billy Bush, podcast, Howie Mandel, podcast and Bill Maher, HBO broadcast. On the Marr thing, millions of people, I knew that was going to blow up. I told Mar, I said, get ready. So the first thing was anti-Semitism. Roll it. Bill, thoughts on Jews.
Starting point is 00:34:11 I don't want to make it awkward that I'm here. No, but all my business people are Jewish, and they do a great job. Oh, how wide up here. I don't get there right now. We have a personal connection. Perspective from O'Reilly, and I know you're looking forward to that more. You can tell you. Number one, you've been doing this show for about 23 years, right? Yeah. Did you invite Fuentes on a program?
Starting point is 00:34:34 No. Why? That's a bridge too far from me. Okay. That's a troll. He's not sincere. It's just gross. Like I said, I didn't even want to talk about him tonight.
Starting point is 00:34:44 He's the guy who runs on the field. You have to talk about him. You have to talk about him. Because he broke through. Because you have to talk about him. You didn't invite him on a program. I don't live in that world. I didn't invite him on my program.
Starting point is 00:34:54 You can get somebody like him at Speaker's Corner in London anytime you want. Right. They're wanting around with wine. Okay. So why would you have them and waste all of these nice people's time? Why? That's number one. So to say, well, everything...
Starting point is 00:35:09 The answer is because the Republican establishment never met something so far right that they won't, at least some of them, take it seriously. See, the Republican establishment couldn't care less about it. this guy. Well, they could this week. No. They don't care about them. They are embarrassed by him. Okay, and again, I will do an extensive analysis
Starting point is 00:35:30 on what I just said, on YouTube this week. The second one was that Marr has alienated some liberals really. And you were disenchanted, and correct me if I'm wrong, which I very rarely am, so you probably won't have to do that.
Starting point is 00:35:48 You disenchanted. did with the far left wing of the Democratic Party. Because you believe that it's poison the well for everybody else like the congressman here. Because they never met anything that was counterintuitive that they didn't love. Right. So they want to put trans people in here and they want to do this. And it just dilutes the message that the Democratic Party has traditionally had that we're for the workers. We want to improve the lives of the backbone. of the country. Now you're into all this fringe garbage that Americans don't want. I think
Starting point is 00:36:25 that's your posture. I wouldn't put it that way, but go ahead. Okay. But you might want to rethink because that's a good way to put it. Well, I'm still on the air and you're not, but go ahead. I expected that. So we did a town hall on News Nation two weeks ago from Kennedy Center, 23 million people watch, 23 million, okay?
Starting point is 00:36:57 You can add up all the HBOs you want. You're not going to come close. Just want to correct the record. All right, so there you go, and it's a pretty good job back and forth. I knew he was going to try to get in one of those, so I was ready for it. The final one is politics in general. What about Gavin Newsom? I mentioned in the monologue.
Starting point is 00:37:21 He has hair like you. You guys have the same hair. I wish. I mean, you both do have great hair. I wish someone would come up to me and say, Gavin? No, you don't, Maher. I do. You want to be Gavin Newsome?
Starting point is 00:37:48 I want to look like him. Really? You want to look at him? Oh, he... Look, you're in decent shape for an 83-year-old man. He's wrecked the state. Not enough. Well, okay. I know that it doesn't matter, but...
Starting point is 00:38:03 Well, he didn't wreck it, but yes, I agree. He's got... He's too far left for my taste, and he's not going to be president unless he moved to the center. But he's a politician, and I think he has that ability to. And now he looks like he is the frontrunner. Is he not the front runner for the Democratic nomination? As of now.
Starting point is 00:38:20 No, no. No? West Moore. West Moore, isn't even? Governor Maryland. Okay, so we posted a bunch of stuff on Bill O'Reilly.com that I'm off time to play for you. That's entertaining. You know, I watch the Marcho.
Starting point is 00:38:39 I would say I watch 50% of the time. Most people are intimidated by him, you know, because he's up there. He's been doing a long time, and you know me. So, anyway, it was a very interesting experience. I'm known for a long time. And that is it. I hope you enjoyed the program. We have, as I said,
Starting point is 00:39:01 at the top, very busy week. We're on it all. Thank you for watching. I'm Bill O'Reilly, and we'll see you again more.
