Starting point is 00:00:00 Hey, Bill O'Reilly here, welcome to the No Spin News from Monday, September 18, 2013, stand up for your country. Well, the media beginning to turn a little bit on President Biden. It's subtle, but we're following it pretty closely that corrupt. media and how they're handling the Biden financial situation. I wrote a message of the day giving you a couple of examples. Bill O'Reilly.com. That's free for everybody in the morning when you get up. You're going to kind of pop on over there because we are on this.
Starting point is 00:00:49 It is all about the money. How many times are we aired that? All about the money. And that is the subject of this evening's talking points memo. So I'm a simple man. everybody knows that. And I have a very simple question. So the investigation into the Biden family finances is disrupting America.
Starting point is 00:01:12 Would we all agree on that? No matter how you feel about it, it's a disruption. And it costs attack payers tens of millions of dollars to do this. And we got three House committees devoting their time to it instead of problem solving it's not good for the country so if you're the president i'm the president and i didn't do anything i didn't take any money from hunter or my brother jim i didn't know i this i that i just did a couple of favors when my son asked me to get on a phone or meet with somebody i just had hi hello all casual if that's true the way to shut this down in an hour
Starting point is 00:01:58 would be to give your banking records to the House Oversight Committee, just two people. Okay, the ranking member, Comer, I mean, he's the chairman, and then a ranking member of the Democrat. I forget who that is. In a room with your attorneys, and from the time you were sworn as vice president until now, you show them your banking records. You show them the deposits. And if there's no money that's coming in from any unexplained place, you're free. Simple, right?
Starting point is 00:02:33 It's just simple. And that ends this. Suspicion, because the suspicion is deep. Okay, so Biden's not doing that, obviously. According to NBC News, he has set up a war room inside the white, house staffed by lawyers and researchers to fight all of this Biden family finance stuff. So that costs more money. There's more of a distraction.
Starting point is 00:03:07 So there's a war room now. Joe Biden didn't do anything. You don't need a war room, Joe. Do you need your lawyers to cart over the bank records and let the oversight people see them? They don't have to even get them. all you have to do is let them see them and they can take notes that's it okay so the suspicion that we have now it's running wild we have an impeachment inquiry against the president of the United States on these issues you see how destructive this is i hope you do anyway uh in the
Starting point is 00:03:44 meantime hunter Biden a proven grifter remember hunter Biden pled guilty to dodging between a million and a million and a half dollars in taxes. That's what the plea agreement was this summer that the judge turned out. He pled guilty to it. Well, now he's suing Hunter Biden is today filed in D.C. The IRS for privacy violations in the same case. So Hunter Biden's lawyers go, oh, the reportage by, the IRS, the whistleblowers who came out, that violated Hunter Biden's rights.
Starting point is 00:04:27 Hunter Biden wants $1,000 for every time his name and the financial stuff was mentioned. This is so ridiculous. I can't even, it'll get thrown out almost immediately, and it would never come to fruition because then Hunter Biden would have to sit for a deposition under oath, not that he cares about it being under oath, but all kinds of embarrassing questions would be asked to him. So it's not going to happen, but it's a ruse to pettifog the issue. Oh, it's Underbiden's a victim now. He's the victim. That's what the progressive leftist press is trying to sell. He's a victim. Nobody else would be charged with gun crimes.
Starting point is 00:05:13 You know, crazy. Okay, so that lawsuit is there. Then We have who's going to pay Hunter Biden's bills. This is a big story that is absolutely being ignored. So there's a guy named Kevin Morris, who's an entertainment attorney in L.A., wealthy man. He's already loaned Hunter Biden more than $2 million, according to New York Post reporting and the Daily Mail. okay it's 2.8 million now the daily mail not real reliable but the guy is pumping money and he and he gave hunter Biden his private jet to show up to a child custody hearing in tennessee where uh Biden Hunter Biden's I have enough money to pay child support it this is the twilight
Starting point is 00:06:08 zone now we're entering so likely this guy uh Mars Kevin Mars he'll can continue to pay all of these legal bills. In other news associated with Joe and Hunter Biden's finances, the FBI, the Justice Department, Merrick Garland, has blocked a man named Elvis Chan, who is the bureau chief in San Francisco. He was supposed to testify before Congress about how the FBI intruded into,
Starting point is 00:06:43 Facebook and all the other high-tech companies over the Hunter Biden laptop. Well, Merrick Garland ordered him not to testify. He'll have to testify because they'll subpoena him down the road. But this is just another example of the Justice Department blocking any information flow that makes the FBI look bad, which the FBI is in the tank from the beginning. Everybody knows that. Okay? So this is on and on and on and on.
Starting point is 00:07:12 And again, the memo is based on one simple premise because I'm a simple man. If the president of the United States really loved his country, he put it into this tomorrow by giving up his banking records. Right? And that's the memo. Let's face it, the U.S. economy is under stress. National debt rising, trade war, shaking the markets. And meanwhile, China is dumping the dollar and stockpiling gold. That's why I protected my savings with physical gold and silver through the only dealer
Starting point is 00:07:46 I trust, American Hartford Gold. And you can do this. Get precious metals delivered to your door or place in a tax advantage, gold IRA. They'll even help you roll over your existing IRA or 401 K, tax and penalty free. Please call 866-326-55-7576 or text bill to 99-88-99.
Starting point is 00:08:24 Again, that's 866-3-26-5576-56-5-76 or text bill to 998899. Hey, I'm Caitlin Becker, the host of the New York Postcast, and I've got exactly what you need to start your weekdays. Every morning, I'll bring you the stories that matter, plus the news people actually talk about, the juicy details in the worlds of politics, business, pop culture, and everything in between. It's what you want from the New York Post
Starting point is 00:08:51 wrapped up in one snappy show. Ask your smart speaker to play the NY Postcast podcast. Listen and subscribe on Amazon Music, Apple Podcast, Spotify, or wherever you get your podcasts. So our president's in New York City showed up last night. fundraising, fundraising, fundraising, fundraising. Remember, if Joe Biden drops out of the race, which I believe he will,
Starting point is 00:09:15 the money he raises will go to whoever the Democratic nominee will be, because it's all going into political action committees. So Biden is said to give a speech at the UN tomorrow. We'll, of course, cover it here on the no-spin news. polls CBS just out about Biden's age and whatever, 4,002 adults. We don't know the methodology. We've asked CBS that didn't reply. Question in next year's presidential election between Biden and Donald Trump.
Starting point is 00:09:50 This is, they're supposing this. Who's you vote for? Biden 49, Trump 50, the dead heat. Second question, if Biden's elected in 2040, you think he'll finish his second term, 34% say he'll finish the term, 44% say he won't finish the term, and 22% are not sure, which of course would be the right answer. The final question for us, which candidate if either is the mental and cognitive health to serve his president?
Starting point is 00:10:18 Biden, 49% say he does not have the mental health, the service president, half the country. Trump, let's see, Trump, Trump, Trump, Trump, it's 44%. So he can't. Doesn't have it mentally. All right, the White House has a press secretary, okay? Corinne Jean-Pierre. Now, we don't like Corinne.
Starting point is 00:10:47 We don't feel that she's a truth teller. Okay, I know what her job is to disseminate propaganda. but there's a way to do that anyway she's walking out of the press briefing on September 15th and this happens go have a great weekend see some of you in New York affecting your job all right is your breakup affecting your job all right is your domestic breakup affecting your job this is from a reporter for Africa today named Simon Atiba, and that is disrespectful to the office of the presidency. My question is way out of bounds, and if I were the White House Communications Director,
Starting point is 00:11:40 Mr. Atiba would never go on the property again, ever, expelled. That doesn't mean I'm taking a stand on anything. It means that there's appropriate behavior inside the White House, and that was terrible. Okay, Donald Trump was on Meet the Press, Nancy Pelosi on some stupid MSNBC Sunday show. I'm going to play these two soundbys, one from each. The question is, who is at fault, this is still going on now, for the Capitol riot on January 6th ago? Why didn't you send help in that moment, though? Frankly, just so you understand, I assume that she took care of it.
Starting point is 00:12:23 she turned down when you realized that the National Guard wasn't coming well you didn't you don't realize anything until quite a while national guard not coming I yes I asked it to be there three days in advance and she turned it down she says that that request was never officially made oh just so you know let me just say let me ask you about the mayor of the city let me the mayor of DC gave us a letter saying that she turns it down okay we have it Nancy Pelosi also was asked, and she turned it down. The police commission of Capitol Police, wait a minute. Capital Police said that he wanted it, and Nancy Pelosi wouldn't accept it.
Starting point is 00:13:03 She's responsible for January 6th. Okay, we checked all that out months ago, and that's true what he's saying, what Trump is saying. Now, there may be other things involved with this, all right? but I know that Trump did raise the specter of the National Guard. He says three days, I confirmed at least one day. It could have been three by sending the acting Secretary of Defense to the Pentagon. But that happened. The mayor, Muriel Bowser, did say she didn't want to guard,
Starting point is 00:13:42 and the Capitol Police Chief, not by name, however, didn't implicate, Pelosi by name, but said he didn't get any cooperation from her office. So Pelosi then goes on MSNBC and says this, go. We begged him, Chuck Schumer and I begged him to send the troops again and again. His secretary of the army, McCarthy, another McCarthy, and I think Secretary of Defense just made it, oh, there are too many obstacles, it's bureaucratic, it's this, we can't do it. I don't know how you get to the bottom of that. somebody's lying.
Starting point is 00:14:20 I think, I mean, I can't with 100% certainty say Nancy Pelosi is lying. But right now, the evidence is on Trump's side in this. So about the riot itself, there have been 623 people convicted on charges on January 6th related activities inside the Capitol. Out of those 623, 378 have been sentenced to prison, 523 cases are pending. Okay, so this is a big Justice Department prosecution. It's huge. And it should be. You can't go into the national capital and ransack it.
Starting point is 00:15:02 And anybody who was in there, even if they didn't do anything, they trespass. There's no doubt about it. There is a new documentary out, and it comes from a strong point of view. It's called the rest of the story. It's on X Twitter. And it's done by a reporter that I've known for many years named Lara Logan. You know her. She used to work for CBS News, 60 Minutes.
Starting point is 00:15:24 She worked for Fox News for a while. And she joins us now from Texas. So in the promotional, thanks for coming on, Lara. It's nice to see you. In the promotion for the rest of the story of documentary, this quote appears. If they didn't want people getting even close to the Capitol, it would never have happened. It happened because they wanted it to happen. This is the government we are talking about, unquote.
Starting point is 00:15:59 So can you be more specific about they? You're obviously saying that it's engineered by, I guess, the Democratic Party? Is that what you're saying it was? Well, first of all, that was a young man I interviewed who said that. His name is Philip Anderson, and he almost died on the steps of the Capitol next to a young woman called Rosam Boyland. And what you had, Bill, was a situation where ordinary people were pushed from behind. So you had protesters who had no intention, they weren't there to cause trouble, they weren't there to go through the government, and they were pushed from behind into that tunnel where a lot of the violence took place.
Starting point is 00:16:37 And at the same time, you had the police decide to make a stand in that tunnel and push people, even though they knew that there was nowhere for these people to go. And we have, you know, reviewed hours and hours and hours of footage. And I can show you, literally, and we will show you the audience, conversations where people are saying to the police, you know, just let us through. And they say, well, they're letting people in, you know, on the other side. Why don't you just go around to the other side? you can get in that way. So there's a lot that doesn't make sense about why the police chose
Starting point is 00:17:12 to make that stand in that very tiny space. And when they pushed all those people out of the tunnel and they were being pushed from behind, what inevitably happened is that they collapsed and there was nowhere for those people to go. And Philip Anderson nearly died at the bottom of that pile and Roseanne Boylan nearly died with him. And to answer your question specifically,
Starting point is 00:17:31 what I'm trying to say to you is that I have spoken, to many different law enforcement offices from all over the country. And the very first thing that all of them say is there was no security at the Capitol. If you actually look at the very first breach on that pathway going up to the building, there aren't tens of thousands of people at the Capitol at that point. There's three police officers in front of a makeshift barrier. They call it bicycle racks. And there's only a handful of people that come up. So it took an A handful of people to breathe the defenses of the Capitol.
Starting point is 00:18:07 Not going to argue the policing and the security was what it should have been. But are you saying in your documentary that this was planned? I'm not saying that it wasn't what it should have been. I'm saying that these people, this is one of the most secure buildings in the country of the United States of America. It is a counterterrorism zone. It is protected against nuclear biological and radiological attack. So the idea that they don't have well-established security protocols to secure that building if they want to is ridiculous. They did it on January 7th.
Starting point is 00:18:41 If you look at the security at the Capitol on January 7th, you know who is calling the shots. Who are you alleging told the police to stand down? Again, I didn't I didn't allege anything. First of all, I want to be very clear on that. Well, there, you're using quotes from people who do. You're saying they, it happened because they wanted it to happen. Who says if they, it is his opinion that with the power of the federal government, if they wanted to secure the capital, they could have.
Starting point is 00:19:14 And what we have found is that there were many things. For example, Bill, if you wanted to secure the capital, where were your mounted police officers? One mounted police officer is worth 10 police officers on the ground. They were not present. We have uncovered body camera footage where a police officer, says, we're being set up. Look at this.
Starting point is 00:19:34 Why don't they have this? Why haven't you done that? We're being set up. Set up by who? Look, Lara, I can't do a micro-analysis. There are many different layers. Okay. Look, you have specific questions.
Starting point is 00:19:52 I can't challenge what. If you will let me give it. Can you let me give my specific answer? I'm not going to sit here. and say that we have uncovered every single part of who they is. This is obviously much bigger than one person. I can tell you that the people who are responsible for securing the capital chose not to secure it.
Starting point is 00:20:14 So when Stephen Sund, who was on the Capitol Police Board as a non-voting member, when he went to the House, the Sergeant of Arms of the House and the Sergeant of the Senate and the Speaker of the House, and he requested six times for the Capitol to be secured, those three specific people refused to give him the security that he asked for. Okay. And I believe that. Who chose not to secure the capital?
Starting point is 00:20:39 They are some of those people. Okay. Nancy Pelosi is one of the people who chose not to secure the capital. I believe that Nancy Pelosi and the other people that this man approached could not have cared less. When you do these documentaries, you are relying on the people. that you interview for their point of view. In part, in part, not entirely, but in part, yeah. That all of the people that were convicted in this, and there are hundreds, we just gave
Starting point is 00:21:12 the stats, okay? So there have been 623 people convicted. They either pled guilty. Various things. Yes. Okay. So when you say very, wait, wait, let me get my question out. they either pled guilty or were tried in front of a jury of people, ordinary people.
Starting point is 00:21:37 It's not like the government seized them. I'm a little shot at the way you're laying that out because you're leaving out so much. I mean, first of all, these are juries that are 100% Democrat in a city where they have been fed a constant diatribe of insurrection. okay they're filled their minds are filled with lies if you look at the jury pools none of these people even remotely claim to be objective so this idea that the jury and the judges are somehow a real jury of your peers who are objective is ludicrous number one number two a vast number of people who pled guilty did so because they knew they would never get a fair trial number two number three not only did they know they wouldn't get a fair trial but many of them don't have the resources to defend themselves so you have Trump supporters who are often represented by public defenders. Some of those public defenders are great attorneys, but many of them are far, far left and don't agree with or sympathize or like anything about the people that they're representing. That's the system, though.
Starting point is 00:22:39 Yes, I know it's the system, but when you've got the same judges who sit there in court and make political statements about an insurrection that never actually happened. There are no charges for insurrection, and none of those hundreds of people that you've cited have ever been charged with domestic terrorism. They've never been charged with insurrection or crimes related to insurrection outside of a handful. I think it's about 18 proverbs. The proud boy people.
Starting point is 00:23:05 All right, look, what disturbs me about this. But everyone is convicted of that crime. Lara, what disturbs me about this, I am agnostic on it. I'm not saying that you are wrong. But what disturbs me about this is it's impossible. impossible, right, to put together the truth unless you have hard evidence. For example, Nancy Pelosi, you would bring people in to testify that she said,
Starting point is 00:23:41 I want Trump crucified, so I'm not going to order the National Guard, I'm going to prevent them from coming in. That's the kind of evidence you need at this level, and it's not there. Now, I believe that Nancy Pelosi wanted to use it against Trump. That's what I believe. Sure. And you know, and you may be right on that. Now, this series is not an attempt to lay out the conspiracy and point fingers at every single person who was involved.
Starting point is 00:24:15 This series is told from the perspective of the people who traveled across this country to be there on general. January 6th because they are painted by the media and by politicians on the left and the right as being a bunch of xenophobes and Islamophobes and deplorables who all were involved in violence and who all broke, you know, the law. Well, that's not true. And there are many, many people who weren't, but they were dumb, Lara, for going into that capital. Sorry, they were dumb. You know, everyone's entitled to their opinion. That everyone's entitled to their opinion. That's not an opinion. When you see somebody breaking windows, when you see police saying don't come in and you go in, that's done. I'm not defending people who broke windows or did anything else. I'm not defending
Starting point is 00:25:07 or condoning fire. Everybody saw that. They saw the chaos and the main. But you know who those people were. Do you know who they were? Do you know how many of those people were working for the federal government? Do you know how many of those people were trained agitators? You don't know the answer to those questions. We don't know the answer to those questions. The American people have been denied answers to those questions. What we do know is that you can chip away at getting to the truth by identifying things that you can actually confirm. So, for example, the federal government now admitted during the ProVoise trial that there were more than 30 undercovers that they had, that they're willing to acknowledge on the ground. But they will not speak for the
Starting point is 00:25:50 Department of Homeland Security. They will not speak about the CIA, for example. They will not speak about the Defense Intelligence Agency. They will not address what any of those other agencies were doing. And why the only way that happens is if Trump or another Republican is elected, okay? Yeah. And then they put a special counsel, as I myself told President Trump to do two weeks after the election, I said have Barr, appoint a special prosecutor to look into this whole thing. They didn't do it. Trump didn't do it.
Starting point is 00:26:27 I don't know why. He didn't. But I would support a special counsel looking into January 6th. Lara, thanks very much. We appreciate it. If you want to see the documentary, it is called the rest of the story after Paul Harvey. And you can find it on Twitter X. Okay.
Starting point is 00:26:51 And this is one of those, most people believe what they want to believe. But there is a large component, as Ms. Logan said, that has not been clarified. It hasn't. And we should know. Now, this lawsuit that this guy Ray Epps filed against Fox News, Epps is a guy who was accused of being one of those agitators working for the government. He's in Arizona filed a lawsuit. That'll be an interesting lawsuit to watch, and we will. Power, politics, and the people behind the headlines.
Starting point is 00:27:26 I'm Miranda Devine, New York Post columnist, and the host of the brand new podcast, Podforce One. You don't want to miss an episode. Hey, it's Sean Spicer from the Sean Spicer Show podcast, reminding you

You can find us at Apple Podcast, Spotify, or wherever you get your podcast. Okay, rare speech by Supreme Court Justice. K. Genji, I think I was... I can't say a first name.
Starting point is 00:28:48 What a dope I am. All right, one more time. Ken Angie Brown Jackson, maybe he got it. All right. She addressed the teaching of black history. Go. The work of our time is maintaining that hard one freedom. And to do that, we're going to need the truth, the whole truth about our past.
Starting point is 00:29:15 We must teach it to our children and preserve it for theirs. Knowledge of the past is what enables us to mark our forward progress. If we're going to continue to move forward as a nation, we cannot allow concerns about discomfort to displace knowledge, truth, or history. Well, as a historian, here's a problem with that, and it's a very big problem, okay? There isn't any uniformed look at history, okay? There are all kinds of opinions about history, all kinds. So you're asking teachers in elementary and high school to bring in truisms about American history,
Starting point is 00:30:08 and you cannot do that. It's impossible because of the duality of men. man. George Washington was a brilliant general, a brave man who forged this nation, but he owned slaves. Thomas Jefferson was the co-author of a document that freed billions of people all over the world, not just in America. And he owned and exploited slaves. So how you position this in the classroom means everything. And it's not easy. to do that. So this kind of one size fits all history. I'm surprised that she... Okay. The Vak Ramoswami will be here tomorrow. He's pulling around 10% average, let's and that. And now he's getting
Starting point is 00:31:02 criticism because he's kind of broken out of the pack. Go. The reality is many people are annoyed by my rise and believe that a 38-year-old is too young to be U.S. president. The fact of the matter is Thomas Jefferson was 33 years old when he wrote the U.S. Declaration of Independence. He also invented the swivel chair while he was out of it, by the way. And so I think we need to revive that spirit. Okay, well, we're going to talk to the vac, if I can call him by his first name, about history and global his point of view. Okay, that'll be a very interesting conversation, I promise, tomorrow. Smart life. So, Smart Life, we're in business to make sure that you have, number one, a good life, and
Starting point is 00:31:50 number two, a long life. Which is why that when you watch and listen to the No Spin News, you always have a pen and paper nearby. Okay? Very important. I'm going to give you very interesting information now. Cancer is horrible. My father died from melanoma.
Starting point is 00:32:10 You know someone who died from cancer. it's awful. They are making great progress in medical science to fight it, but if you get cancer, it is awful. One of the ways to prevent cancer is diet, all right, and I'm big on this. You stay out of the sun, particularly if you're light-complected, and you eat well. So a registered cancer nutrition specialist named Nicole Andrews caught my eye. And you can check her out, all right? It's Nicole Andrews. But she came up with kind of a game plan for food, and I'm going to pass it along to you.
Starting point is 00:32:54 So number one is get away from the processed foods that you buy in the grocery stores, which is laden with sugar and salt, and go into the fresher foods, plant-based mostly. All right. This is mushrooms, beans, berries, unpeeled apples, ginger, garlic, ground flax, green tea with lemon. All of that, touchy, feely, wind chime food, okay, because it's much easier on your body inside. I believe that. Doesn't taste as good. Okay, that's a downside to it.
Starting point is 00:33:37 But here are the foods that do taste good that you can have and they might protect you. Poultry and eggs, lean cuts of beef, can eat steak, okay, lamb, pork, skinless chicken, turkey. You got to get that skin off it. I don't know why. That lids are fried chicken, by the way. Fried chicken is no good for you. Duck and omega-3 eggs. I have no idea what omega-3 eggs are.
Starting point is 00:34:07 but it's supposed to be good. Fish and seafood, salmon, tuna, cod, shrimp, mackerel, lobster, catfish, crab. Right on. I'd like all of that. Okay. Then, high fiber foods for you. Artichokes. Chia seeds.
Starting point is 00:34:25 Never had them. Split peas, avocado, quinoa, raspberries, pears, and barley. All right. That's okay. Then drinking, all right, beverages, sparkling water infused with citrus, herbal tea, iced green tea lemonade, coconut water. I don't know about the coconut stuff. I'm a little unsweetened iced tea with lemon.
Starting point is 00:34:55 Okay, so you can go out of that, but if the more of that you can develop eating on a regular basis, the more you're going to have an immune system to protect you against cancer. Smart life. To stay in history, September 18th, 1970, Jimmy Hendricks, the best guitar player who ever lived, in my opinion, dies in London, age 27.
