Starting point is 00:00:00 Hey, Bill O'Reilly here. Welcome to the No Spin News. Wednesday, October 29, 2025, stand up for your country. Federal Reserve cuts the interest rate, one quarter. Good. And especially if you're looking to buy a house or, refinance or by a car, you know, probably cut another quarter in December. So I'm not worried about the overall economy here in the United States, but tomorrow morning, see, Korea is 14 hours ahead, I think it is, something like that. Tomorrow morning in Korea is the big
Starting point is 00:00:56 one for the economy. That's when Trump meets she. And I have been talking to the president on our regular basis. He remains very optimistic. The United States is going to secure a good deal, trade deal. And that'll bolster the economy more. And that obviously is everything in the midterm elections. So the one thing that the Trump administration has not succeeded in is bringing the price of food down. And I can't predict that. Gas price is coming down. They're below $3 in my neighborhood now. And I think that will continue. But we loyal Americans, and that lets out, I don't know, 20, 25% of the population, we're rooting for a good deal with China. Very, very important. And I'll give you the nuts and bolts in a moment.
Starting point is 00:01:55 But the talking points memo now is about the disintegrating Democratic Party. Now, I don't want to overstate this, but the Dems are in trouble. So there is a think tank named Welcome, Welcome. It's funded by left-wing money, Michael Bloomberg, Samuel Walton, Reed Hoffman, James Murdoch, all left-wingers. They pump a lot of money into this political action committee. So his study, and thousands of Americans, so what do you think about the Democratic Party? It wasn't all Democrats now across the board.
Starting point is 00:02:36 70% of Americans believe, according to this study, Democratic Party is, quote, out of touch. All right, that number was 51% in 2013 when Barack Obama was president. So the Democratic Party from 51 half thought it was out of touch back under Obama is now 70. That's a catastrophe. Now, there are strongholds of progressive thought, Boston, New York, L.A., San Francisco, Chicago, that kind of thing. But the mass of people are going, you know what, this party's not doing it for us. Now, let me get specific about the study.
Starting point is 00:03:19 So the people who are objecting to the Democratic point of view object to protecting migrants, top issue. They don't like the Democrats are doing that. Insisting on tax increases, okay, because Democrats want to raise taxes, all right, involved with the gay trans stuff, that's hurt them, the Democratic Party, and basically being woke and politically correct all the time. Okay, so that's where the Democrats stand. They have a very weak hand. Jersey might vote for a Republican next Tuesday. That happens. That's a big signal. In Virginia, I don't think the Republican candidate's going to win. governorship. It's not impressing me very much. But Jersey, Chitterelli, could win.
Starting point is 00:04:22 Okay. On a GOP side, just for your frame of reference, they have a 65% negative rating with America, 65%, 5 points, less than a Democrats of being out of touch. So you can see it in a markets don't like either party. That's because it's too much games, too many games going. But the Republicans, 5% is a significant amount, particularly because the big urban centers, that's where people are.
Starting point is 00:04:57 New York is 8.5 million people. Okay. Can the Democrats reverse it? I don't know how. They don't have a leader, a strong leader. Kamala Harris? Come on. Newsom? He's as progressive as you get.
Starting point is 00:05:15 Who's going to be the leader that brings the Democratic Party back? Federman, Senator from Pennsylvania, I don't think so. So that's the problem, the leadership problem. Obviously, Republicans don't have that. They have a very strong leader in Donald Trump. So, so on up, if the Trump administration and the Republican Party can get the food under control. Let's sweep it next November.
Starting point is 00:05:48 That's a memo. All right, President Biden's a White House doctor, Kevin O'Connor. All right. On May 19th, your humble correspondent, that is me, said this. Go. The doctor examined Biden, Kevin O'Connor, kept saying Biden's perfect health mentally and physically, that just couldn't be true. So Dr. O'Connor has to be investigated, number one.
Starting point is 00:06:22 And he is. Presto, House Oversight Committee, chaired by James Comer, a Trump ally. Okay, they are referring Dr. O'Connor to the Washington, D.C. Board of Medicine, okay, to take some action that he should be disciplined, sanctioned, or even lose his medical license because he misled the American people. That's the conclusion the House Oversight Committee came to. However, the Democrats on the committee dissent, of course they do. They're not going to admit that Biden didn't know what he was doing. And I wouldn't go that far, but I'll say he was impaired for most of his term, mentally impaired. And I do believe that he used
Starting point is 00:07:11 narcotics to deliver state of the union address and things like that. Remember that? Remember when it was jacked up? Okay. Anyway, I don't think anything's going to happen to Dr. O'Connor because it's Washington, D.C., which is 95% Democrat. I don't see it, but that's what's happening there. Bill Gates, billionaire, of course.
Starting point is 00:07:40 you know um he pumped two billion dollars of his own money into funding global warming stuff okay since 2015 two billion and now he says well it's not that bad global warming here's what he posted on gatesnotes dot com quote although climate change will have serious consequences particularly for people in the poorest countries It will not lead to humanity's demise. People will be able to live and thrive in most places on earth for the foreseeable future, unquote Bill Gates. Okay. So why the conversion?
Starting point is 00:08:26 He doesn't say Gates. But I can't guess. I've said from the very beginning, there is global warming. That's true. But you don't go crazy ruining economies. with windmills when you don't know what you're doing and the world doesn't know what it's doing right now. So the U.S. government is pledged to spend $500 billion, $500 billion on climate tech, clean energy over the next decade. I'm not opposed to clean energy. I think that's worthy,
Starting point is 00:09:06 but you can't be building the windmills out in the middle of the ocean. Look, I got windmills near me. I can see them from my house. And they're broken all the time. And the windmills only give power to block island. That's Rhode Island territory. That's it. So it had to cost a couple of billion to put those windmills out there in the water.
Starting point is 00:09:36 and what? 12,000 people get power from them? No. Okay? No. Let's face it, the U.S. economy is under stress. National debt rising, trade war, shaking the markets. And meanwhile, China is dumping the dollar and stockpiling gold.
Starting point is 00:10:00 That's why I protected my savings with physical gold and silver. through the only dealer I trust, American Hartford Gold. And you can do this. That's goldbelly.com code bill, 20% off your first order. So Gates, he has seen the global warming light. But we don't really know why. Government shutdown day 29 is on Hannity talking about this today. Hannity radio program, we posted on Bill O'Reilly.com. And, you know, I don't want to be boring. I've gone over this.
Starting point is 00:12:15 Schumer and Democrats knew that the Republicans were not going to extend the COVID-Oabomacare supplements indefinitely. Because it was supposed to end after COVID ended. But the Democrats want trillions of dollars to extend Obamacare when it's already costing a bloody fortune. And, no, they need to revamp that whole thing. The whole thing's got to be revamped. We're going to go broke. We're almost broke now, this country. All right.
Starting point is 00:12:54 So this whole thing was set up to influence the election next week. I don't think it's going to work for the Democrats, and I think, but I was wrong because I didn't think it was going to go on nearly this long, so I'm not even going to make a prediction. U.S. troops are going to get paid on Friday. Vice President Vance made the announcement. Pentagon has $8 billion in kind of discretionary money, so they're going to pay the troops, and they should. 1.3 million military service members active right now. 1.3 million. Trump's in Asia.
Starting point is 00:13:34 All right. So as you know, I've been texting back and forth. He means very, very confident that tomorrow's big meeting with Xi will work out well for America. So far, it's worked out well in Malaysia. It's worked out well in Japan and in Korea. Okay, so everything's going our way. But tomorrow, local time, Korea, the Xi meeting takes place at 11 a.m., I guess. All right.
Starting point is 00:14:09 Yep, 11 a.m. local time. And then after that meeting, the president gets on a plane and comes back. And on Friday, no, this is crazy. I can't believe this is going to happen, but tomorrow, Thursday, see you gain a day when you come back from Asia. He's going to do a Halloween thing. Take a nap. Do it on Friday. That's Halloween.
Starting point is 00:14:41 Anyway, everybody should be rooting that we, the United States, get a good deal with China. But everybody isn't. And I don't respect those people. You got a problem with me if you're in that category, rooting against your own country, because you hate Trump. Guy named Richard Haas, the liberal guy, was on all the liberal stations. Here's what he said about Trump's trip. Go.
Starting point is 00:15:09 This could not have gone better. Let's just take a step back. Japan is arguably the single most important ally of the United States, the world's third largest economy, one of the most powerful militaries. If you want to deal successfully with China, you need Japan on your side. Now, he said that to all the lefties watching MS. They're very, I don't think they break a million now on any of their shows, but, you know, it's notable that he said that. Of course, the MS people are, oh, what about the White House renovations?
Starting point is 00:15:43 I'm agnostic on this. I'm going to write a message of the day for tomorrow, Bill O'Reilly.com, about the history of changing the White House. It's not going to be boring. Our pal George Will, who despises Trump, is coming down on Trump for the renovations. He's like crazed. I don't care one way or the other because it doesn't cost a taxpayer any money. Trump raised all of the money himself and his friends. All right. So 37 donors, Amazon, Apple, Google, Meta, Microsoft, Comcast, T-Mobile, gave him the money, and he's building a new ballroom. Is this a big deal?
Starting point is 00:16:30 I don't think it's a big deal. Donald Trump wants the United States to be the grandest nation in the world. And he didn't like the confined space where you had to run events in tents out in the White House Rose Garden. So he revamped the Rose Garden, and now he's doing the big ballroom. room. Okay, would I have done it? Probably not, but, you know, but anyway, I'm going to put it in the proper perspective, so you might want to read that. There is a poll, Yahoo poll. Okay, do you approve or disprove of the plan to add 90,000 square feet for a ballroom to the White House? Approved 25% disapproved 61, not sure 14th. Now, I'll submit to you that most people don't even know what
Starting point is 00:17:21 this is about. Second question from Yahoo, do you approve or disprove of funding the ballroom with 300 million of private donations from corporations? Approved 32, disapprove 53. Why would you disapprove it at? If they're going to pay and it comes out well, why would you disapprove it at? Crazy. Not a big deal. So we've been telling you, and I nasty mail, oh, Donald Trump could run for a third term. And from the very beginning, I said, no, because I know the Constitution. I'm a historian. Well, yesterday, on his way to South Korea from Japan, here's what the president said. I have the best numbers for any president in many years, any president. And I would say that if you read
Starting point is 00:18:21 it was pretty clear i'm not allowed to run it's too bad all right he knows how does he know because i told him i did it a nice way though a funny way okay um but he knew anyway and come on the constitution is constitution all right nancy pelosi so here's something i should change if you're a sitting member of Congress, Senator, or in the House, you should not be able to actively trade stocks because you get all kinds of inside information about legislation that influences the prices of stocks, particularly in a drug industry and things like that. Pelosi, listen to this. Pelosi and her husband made $4.7 million in one day. Okay? That was reported in May. In one day. That's annoying.
Starting point is 00:19:21 You're a muffler. You don't hear it? Oh, I don't even notice it. I usually drown it out with the radio. How's this? Oh, yeah. Way better. Save on insurance by switching to Bell Air Direct and use the money to fix your car. Bell Air Direct, insurance simplified. Conditions apply. Attention podcast, people.

Starting point is 00:20:24 The fight back starts here. And yes, bring the popcorn. Now, Nancy goes, I don't trade my husband's trick. Yeah. So Nancy donates some apple stock to Catholic University, Trinity, something. I don't know. No, it's Trinity, Washington.
Starting point is 00:20:50 University. It's a Catholic school. Okay. That's nice, but let's get this legislation passed, all right? Put the money in trust while you're in office. Okay? It's the right thing to do. Now, not going to happen. And it's because the Congress people and the Senate go, well, we have a right to make money too. Why? We have families to support. Okay. I get it. But the aura of corruption is so heavy that I think the public good demands that they put the money in trust. There is a new book that you should know about. It's called Gold Bar Bob, the downfall of the most corrupt U.S. senator by Isabel Vincent and Thomas Jason Anderson. They are reporters for the New York. post. It is a good book. Okay? I am reading it now. Now, to make this interview easier, let us introduce you to former Senator Bob Menendez, who the author say, the most corrupt senator in modern times. He was convicted on July 16th of 2024, conspiracy to commit bribery, conspiracy to commit honest services wire fraud,
Starting point is 00:22:21 committee extortion under the color of official right, obstruct justice, two counts of bribery, more wire fraud, on and on and on and on. He got convicted of all of these counts, serving 11 years in the federal penitentiary in Allenwood, Pennsylvania, if you want to visit him or send him a Christmas card. This is a bad guy.
Starting point is 00:22:50 All right. So Menendez, I've known for many years. In fact, his daughter is a television person, and I helped her when I was at the O'Reilly Factor. All right? Very nice woman. But her father was always, in my opinion, very corrupt. He is the son of Cuban immigrants,
Starting point is 00:23:09 and he started in New Jersey with the help. of a lot of powerful Cuban nefarious characters in Union City. Joining us now is Isabel Vincent from New York City. She's an investigative reporter for the New York Post, as mentioned and co-author of Gold Bar Bob. So, yeah, the guys grew up, and all of us knew it. And he got off in 2013, he was charged. and then they
Starting point is 00:23:43 has a mistrial and then the Trump Justice Department didn't go after him, didn't retry him. I was stunned when I read that in your book, Isabel. What do you think the Trump J. Department let him go? I think they couldn't pin anything on him at that time. And what's interesting is that Bob Menendez has always said that he is a victim of lawfare
Starting point is 00:24:09 like Donald Trump after he was convicted he started saying that on X that everybody was after him. But we have to remember that it was the Biden Justice Department that went after him. And I think they went after him because they had such tangible proof of corruption. I mean, you'll recall that in the first days of the trial, the prosecutors gave the jury gold bars. They actually gave them gold bullion to hold on to and to sort of feel the corruption. And that was taken from Menendez's house, right? He was taken from his closet, as well as almost $500,000 in cash, was stuffed into his boots
Starting point is 00:24:50 and into his jacket pocket. And his defense lawyer said what about that? A few things that because he was Cuban and had been raised in a certain way, his father had always said, always have money at home. So he claimed he took out money every week from his bank account. and just kept it at home. Unfortunately, the bills that the FBI found were new bills. They weren't bills that, you know, had come from 40 years ago.
Starting point is 00:25:24 And the other thing he said was that his wife, who was also convicted of bribery and acting as a foreign agent, the same things he was convicted of, She said that she's from Lebanon, and in Lebanon, you know, it's a traditional way to, in families, to give gifts of gold. So they tried to say that that gold was from her family in Lebanon, but it was from people who wanted favors. Right. It's just foolish nonsense. But Menendez, I guess, this week or last week, threw his wife to use a cliche under the proverbial bus. How did he do that? So he started right from the beginning of his trial. They were indicted together, and then they decided, his lawyers decided that it would be best for both of them, or so they said, to do the trials separately.
Starting point is 00:26:25 So during his trial, Menendez's main defense was that his wife, Nadine Menendez, his second wife, put him up to all of this. She made him do it. what was to do the wrongdoing. And then what was strange was that Mrs. Menendez at her sentencing hearing, you know, put herself out there as a victim of domestic abuse and saying that Bob Menendez was the best guy she'd ever been with except when he threw her under the bus during the trial. So she then threw him under the bus. But then at the very end of the trial, at the very end of this sentencing hearing, her lawyer asked Judge Stein, Justice Sidney Stein, when can I go visit my husband? Because as a convicted felon, there were rules about, you know,
Starting point is 00:27:14 entering a federal prison. Sure. So it was just, it was all theater. Here's what I don't understand. The first trial where it was a mistrial and then they didn't bring it back for a second time. It was pretty tawdry. You had women involved and you had, you know, allegations that Menendez had 19 private jet flights paid for them, $750,000, and campaign funds went to them. And the people of Florida still reelected them. How could that happen? Florida. People of New Jersey.
Starting point is 00:27:48 People of New Jersey. I'm sorry, oh, you fleur-adians. New Jersey re-elected them. When you support Movember, you're not just fundraising. You're showing up for the men you love. Your dad, your brother, your partner, your friends. It isn't just a men's issue. It's a human one.
Starting point is 00:28:06 That's why Movember exists to change the face of men's health. From mental health and suicide prevention to prostate and testicular cancer research and early detection, Movember is tackling the biggest health issues facing men today. Join the movement and donate now at Movember.com. Now streaming on Paramount Plus is the epic return of Mayor of Kingston. Warden? You know who I am. Starring Academy Award nominee Jeremy Renner. had a sway in these walls.
Starting point is 00:28:34 Emmy Award winner E.D. Falco. You're an ex-con who ran this place for years. And now, now you can't do that. And Bafto Award winner Lenny James. You're about to have a plague of outsiders descend on your town. Let me tell you this. It's going to be consequences. Mayor of Kingstown, new season now streaming on Paramount Plus.
Starting point is 00:28:54 He was such a powerful person. He had the backing of, you know, he always had the Hispanic vote. He always had the anti-Castro. vote, so he was able to rally, you know, a lot of the Republicans who wanted the U.S. to be tough on Castro and on Cuba. I think that was like a big factor, but also because the trial took place in New Jersey. He's where he is, you know, a favorite son. This new trial. Why wouldn't people turn against him? I mean, this was before the gold bars. This was the first one. But the first one was salacious.
Starting point is 00:29:33 He's running around with these guys. And one of the most salacious things I discovered was that he had asked his benefactor of a South Florida eye doctor to, he was, or his benefactor had asked him to get visas for all of his foreign girlfriends. And Bob just went into the Senate office and asked his aid. You need to get, you know, this was something that had to be done right. away. And there were all these, you know, bikini models and stuff like that. I couldn't believe that this was going on. You know what happened? You know, I'm blaming it partially on the media
Starting point is 00:30:11 because the local television media didn't give this a lot of play. And I mentioned it, but I wasn't, you know, on it. But I was surprisingly good people of New Jersey reelected Menendez, but he was wired into a lot of gangsters in Union City. I mean, this guy was really bad to the bone from the very beginning, correct? Yes, so we're talking about in my book, in our book, we go back to Menendez in high school. Menendez, the corruption started then when he was given a place on the Union City School Board
Starting point is 00:30:47 by his mentor, Bill Musto, who was the product of the democratic machine, the local democratic boss in Union City. And at that time, we see Menendez dispensing favors to his family members. He mean, his mother gets a job with the school board. His sister gets a job with the school board. After Menendez is married, he gets married very early. I think he was in his early 20s.
Starting point is 00:31:17 His wife gets a job with the school board. Everybody gets a job. But that's Jersey. I mean, sopranos. We know that. Now, last question for you. Menendez, as I understand, is angling for a partner. from President Trump.
Starting point is 00:31:31 And it's to the Biden administration's credit that they went after him. The Justice Department are in Merrick Arling convicted him, and he's in federal Penn for 11 years. And you have to serve most of that time. It's not like state prison. You got to serve most of the 11.
Starting point is 00:31:47 And his wife is going to be, go to prison next summer, right? Nadine is on the way. What did she get? I forget what you had in there. You got four and a half years. Four and a half. Okay.
Starting point is 00:31:58 The judge felt bad for her. because of her breast cancer battle. But Menendez, the rumor is that he's trying to get a pardon from Trump. Is that what you're hearing? So I've heard that for many months. He was trying to get a pardon from Trump just after Trump was elected. But here's the thing. Menendez voted twice to impeach Trump during his situation.
Starting point is 00:32:24 He's like puff daddy. Yeah, I can't see it. Yeah, I can't see it. No, Menendez was absolutely in a Democrat machine. All right, the book is Gold Bar-Bah. That's easy to remember. And if you want to know about corruption in the United States, and believe me, Menendez is not alone.
Starting point is 00:32:46 He is not alone. And in confronting the president, Isabella, you might have noticed how corrupt Lyndon Johnson was, and he became president. My God. And I appreciate you coming on. on and talking about your book as well good luck with it back with the final thought in a moment here is the final thought of the day so I'm writing my next book I'll be out this time next year
Starting point is 00:33:09 it is called confronting America what has to change what a bear so we got to research and write you know you got to start now to get it all done by about April or May so they can then set the type and all that but everything's changing So what has to change, some of it's already changing. So it's driving me nuts. But this is a very personal book, and I'm going to say a lot of stories you've never heard before. But I, this is what I do after I do this. So the old cliche is, all work and no play, make Jack a dull boy.
Starting point is 00:33:54 I don't think I could get any dollar. It's Bill, not Jack, but man, I'm working too much. Anyway, I'm going to take a little breather on Halloween and scare the kids. Thank you for watching The Newsspin News. I'm Bill O'Reilly. We'll see you again tomorrow.
