Starting point is 00:00:00 Hey, Bill O'Reilly here. Welcome to the No Spin News, Tuesday, November 26, 2024, stand up for your country. Well, fascinating three weeks since we voted for President of the United States. Not only did Donald Trump win, is everybody in the world? knows, but the progressive movement lost big. And tonight, we're going to tell you exactly why that happened. I don't think a lot of Americans understand the historical significance of the progressive meltdown and how it's going to affect your life, personally.
Starting point is 00:00:53 It will. And that is the subject of this evening's talking points memo. So let's start with the Democratic Party, not all progressive, but a lot of it. Certainly the moderate Democrats are afraid of the progressives. Nancy Pelosi invoked fear in every Democrat in Congress, everyone. Just what Ms. Pelosi would do as Speaker of the House would say, look, you better vote the way I tell you to vote, or we're not going to give you a dime to run for reelection. Remember, Congress people run every two years.
Starting point is 00:01:30 And not only that, if you're obnoxious, we'll primary you. We'll fund an opponent and knock you out of the game entirely. So there are the Democrats, okay, okay. And that's how the progressive movement rose in power. Pelosi was the driver. But now she's 84 years old, the end of the line, and no longer will she be doing things like that. So looking ahead on February 1st at the National Harbor in Maryland, the Democratic National Committee will be hosting a vote.
Starting point is 00:02:09 All right, February 1st, the vote is who is going to be the next chairman of the DNC. I bet you don't know who the chairman is now. Guy's name is Jamie Harrison. All right, he's been in that chair for four years. stays behind the scenes largely, not a factor for the public, but he is powerful as he doles out money and makes calls about who's going to run, things like that. The Democratic Party does not have a leader at this point. It is, at its weakest level, since 1984, Ronald Reagan's re-election.
Starting point is 00:02:50 Remember that. Reagan just wiped out Walter Mondale. And the Democratic Party is a total disarray until Bill Clinton in 88 come on the scene. Not 88, 92 came on a scene. So Bush, the elder, won. He was a VP under Reagan. He won four years, and then Clinton beat him. We are in the exact same circumstance in America right now.
Starting point is 00:03:16 The Democratic Party is totally collapsed. Isn't that interesting? I mean, a month ago, they were haughty. arrogant. Yeah, we're going to get the, we're going to do that. And now to nowhere. That's a pretty stunning turnaround. Now, we need two vibrant parties in this country, even if you hate the Democrats, we need them. And we need another party. It'd be much better if we had three. But it'd take, I don't know, $10 billion to set up another party apparatus in America in all 50 States? Ten billion. That's just a set-up cost. So it's not going to happen any time soon.
Starting point is 00:03:59 So we need the Democratic Party to come back to sanity. And why do we need that? Because if you look at the arc of history, and I write, this is what confronting the president is all about. We've had bad presidents on both sides. And when you get one a bad Republican, then you need the Democratic Party to be at least something to consider, and vice versa. All right, it's just in order for a democracy to flourish and to protect we the people, which is the government's main job, you've got to have that robust debate on how to do it. Anyway, who should lead the Democratic Party? I know a lot of you go, I don't care.
Starting point is 00:04:47 I do. I care. There's one guy who could do it, one, an entire country. And his name is Joe Manchin, West Virginia Senator. He's out of there in early January 3rd, by to Joe. And Joe, fair, smart, despises the progressives. He should be the new head of the DNC. Now, I have no idea if that's even possible.
Starting point is 00:05:18 But if it were me, and I was trying to get that party back on its feet, I would go to mansion. In order to do that, though, you have to blow up all the progressives, and we're talking George Soros, we're talking Hollywood, we're talking media, we're talking AOC in the squad, you've got to blow them all up. Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, all the socialist, communist, they got to go. because Americans don't want them any longer. And let me prove this to you. So Donald Trump won the popular vote, exceedingly hard to do with California, New York, and Illinois, the three largest cities in a country, New York City, Chicago, and L.A., ardent Democrats. So you're way behind in a popular vote.
Starting point is 00:06:11 You got Texas and Florida, okay, they're red, but you're way behind. New York City metro area, 16 million people here. Los Angeles County, the largest county in the country. Arden Democrats. Can't blow them out of there. I think that there'll be disasters in both places. Chicago's already disaster. And that might change history, but we don't know. But other than that, Trump was just swept across the country. And this is a And voters were voting for Donald Trump was better under his administration four years ago than now. Everybody knows that. Some people won't admit it, but you got to know it.
Starting point is 00:07:01 But here is what the voters were objecting to. Here is the list of progressive tenets that were rejected three weeks ago. Ready? Race and gender preferences. That is, you get into a school or you get a job because you're, skin color or your gender. Language police. So you can't say orientals. I don't even know what's wrong with that. But if you say it, you're condemned. No punishment for criminals is one of the worst. Destroyes inner cities all over the country. Open borders, we all know. The catastrophe
Starting point is 00:07:39 that has led to. Attacks on the Supreme Court. Progressives just want to blow the whole thing up. Transgender sports competition may seem like a small item, but it isn't. If you have any common sense, you know biological males should not be competing against females in sports or anything else. It's ridiculous. Antisemitism. We saw that. Wealth tax. Seizure of private property. Cancel culture. We don't like you. We'll try to get you and take you off the floor. welfare state. On and on. Never ends under the progressives. Never ends. Government-run health care. You know, go up to Canada and see if you want to get a knee operation. Okay? Then you come back and report. Let's face it, the U.S. economy is under stress. National debt rising, trade war,
Starting point is 00:08:33 shaking the markets. And meanwhile, China is dumping the dollar and stockpiling gold. That's why I protected my savings with physical gold and silver through the only dealer I trust, American Hartford Gold. And you can do this. Get precious metals delivered to your door or place in a tax advantage, gold IRA. They'll even help you roll over your existing IRA or 401K, tax and penalty free. With billions in precious metals delivered thousands of five-star reviews and an A-plus from the Better Business Bureau. You can trust American Hartford Gold as I do. Please call 866, 326, 5576, or text
Starting point is 00:09:20 Bill to 998899. Again, that's 866, 326, 5576, or text bill to 998899. Hey, I'm Caitlin Becker, the host of the New York Postcast, and I've got exactly what you need to start your weekdays. Every morning, I'll bring you the stories that matter, plus the news people actually talk about, the juicy details in the worlds of politics, business, pop culture, and everything in between. It's what you want from the New York Post wrapped up in one snappy show. Ask your smart speaker to play the NY Postcast podcast. Listen and subscribe on Amazon Music, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. All right, so let's go over there. Race and gender preferences is so anti our
Starting point is 00:10:09 Constitution, it's not even in the same debt. And there are schools like Boston College. I'm using them because I have a personal knowledge of this. It's simply reject qualified students because they're not the right color. I mean, it's awful. And the ivies have been sued, you know, big action against Harvard and Asians. It's just horrible. It takes place in corporations all the time.
Starting point is 00:10:38 time. All the time. Okay, that's number one. Language police. So, Washington Redskins. I don't, I mean, I researched it. You know, it goes way back. There's no malice in that name, but it's gone. I understand Redskin. I got it. Cleveland Indians, I don't understand. Okay. But that's what I'm talking about. No punishment for criminals. Every single day here in New York city. Every day, there are horrendous violence of people who got 40 arrests, 50 arrests. Judges don't care. Let them write out. That is so dangerous. Open borders. 14 million foreign nationals unattended in this country. 14 million? Come on. That's why Biden is the second worst president ever. That is the worst public policy I have ever seen.
Starting point is 00:11:38 on any president opening that board for what okay next one um tax on the Supreme Court nine justices aren't no we went 18 not 22 no we have 30 you know and we want them all liberal not as we want so just blast it out makes it easy for dictator to run the country then very easy um gender, we went over. That's ridiculous. Anti-Semitism. You saw it, all those demonstrations, you haven't seen many demonstrations this year, because a lot of those schools have cracked down on those, they're throwing those kids out. Good. Wealth tax. That's communism. All right, so what I have in my home, in my garage, wherever I bought with post-tax dollars.
Starting point is 00:12:38 I already paid my taxes, so I have money left over, so I bought stuff. You have no right to come in and tax that stuff. It violates every form of capitalism and our constitutional freedom from government interference in our private affairs. That's communism. That's what that is. Private property seizure. It's a hallmark of the progressives, a hallmark.
Starting point is 00:13:05 Desperately want that so they can redistribute. that, all right? Cancel culture. I mean, I know literally hundreds of people whose lives are destroyed by false accusations. There's the name of an actress, I have it, and I'm not going to say it because it's just not right, who is promoting this cancel culture. You'd know her name. but I can't maybe someday but I can't now but there are a thousand of those people maybe 10,000 they parade around wanting to cancel people welfare state Kamala Harris that was all we heard from her other than she was a middle class person was I'll give you this I'll give you that no giving you this giving you that giving you to 36 trillion dollar debt it didn't matter
Starting point is 00:14:08 I'm going to give it to you, give it to you, give it to you, give it to you. There's no work requirement for welfare. Clinton signed a bill. You want welfare? You'll look for a job. Fair? Yeah, that was a Democratic bill. Joe Biden supported that.
Starting point is 00:14:25 Not now, oh no, no, no, no. Welfare state. Create this army of people who are not going to work. Maybe they're addicted, maybe they're lazy. No, no, no, no. Give me. Finally, government-run health care. Okay, Canada, go over to Britain, go look at it.
Starting point is 00:14:46 Wait times, that takes away all your freedom. They choose your doctor. All right, some concierge doctors not going to be in the government-run system. You'll pay five times because the government-run system will be so chaotic in a nation of 350 million people. You think your government can run health care? Come on, they can't even control the airline industry. All right, so all of those progressive tenants were rejected three weeks ago.
Starting point is 00:15:16 All of them, because that's what Kamala Harris stood for. And tomorrow, Thursday, I should say, when I'm chowing down and say the prayer at the table before the meal, that's what I'm thankful for. that's number one not for my personal success not for help that the country was saved by we the people three weeks ago you know I've lived I've been everywhere 86 countries you want to live in Sweden go over there you know spend a month in Stockholm and see if you like it see if you want that system all right you know we have Bernie Sanders, oh, we're, yeah, Democratic Socialists, the Air PMA, just go over and look
Starting point is 00:16:09 of what they got. The progressive stranglehold on a Democratic Party remains, even though all of these things were rejected, because the moderates are still too weak to overtake them. That's why Mansion would be one of the guys who could do this. The progressive stranglehold is based on three things, money. George Soros money, Jeffrey Katzenberg money. He's the big Hollywood mogul and a bunch of others. Bezos is back in a way because the Washington Post is collapsing.
Starting point is 00:16:54 But those kinds of people. On the other side, Musk is now a red guy. But at that level, the amount of money that they generate into our political system is scandalous. I think the Congress can have to take a look at that. Hollywood. The propaganda coming out of Hollywood on both TV and in the movies? Stunning. You don't tell the line, you don't work.
Starting point is 00:17:23 Forget about the 1950s blacklist in Hollywood. Forget about that. What they do now makes that look like the Girl Scout meeting. So you better tow that line out there. And so the culture pushing us, music too. And finally, the television news, media, and the newspapers, but TV is the big consumer now, although it's falling apart and we're going to do a segment on it in a couple of minutes. You got big money, you got Hollywood, you got...
Starting point is 00:17:59 You got television and newspaper reporting, so-called, all lined up with the progressives, they still have power. Okay? And that's the memo. All right, President Biden's in Nantucket. Nice place to be for Thanksgiving. You've never been in Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard, you ought to go. Massachusetts Islands south of the Commonwealth. Nantucket, very quaint, Wailingtown.
Starting point is 00:18:24 Been there many times. Free beef in the Bidens. They go to some big rich guy's house, and they've been going there since 1975, I guess. And it's cold, a windy. It's all right. It's a nice atmosphere. So I hope the Biden's have a good thing. Thanksgiving.
Starting point is 00:18:44 I don't personally against them. Terrible president. I documented again in confronting the presidents, but personally, I don't have anything against Jimmy Carter. He was a terrible president. I didn't know James Buchanan. He was the worst. But James, I might have slapped. He was that bad.
Starting point is 00:19:02 Trump will be in a Montalago. They have a big thing they do down there for all the guests. Now, I've learned something very interesting today that nobody knows but me, and that the order has gone out for all the Trump acolytes, cabinet people, staffers, tamp it down, no press. They're not going to do anything for a while. Everything is stamped. Smart.
Starting point is 00:19:32 Annoying, because I wanted to get Ramoswami in particular on this broadcast next week. And he broke me, you know, I'm a good rapport with Vibak. But he didn't say it. He couldn't, but I could read between the lines. So that's interesting. Donald Trump, this is, now I'm going to tell you another story. that is misreported and you have no idea what's going on other than reading and listening to pinheads who are not going to tell you the truth. Number one, because they hate Trump or
Starting point is 00:20:06 number two, because they're just stupid to know the truth. So the headline is Donald Trump vows to impose 25% tariff on Mexico and Canada. That is true. Here is the backup for that. Quote, the Trump statement on January 20th is one of my many first executive. I will sign all necessary documents to charge Mexico and Canada, 25% tariff on all products coming into the United States and its ridiculous open borders. This tariff will remain in effect until such time as drugs, in particular, fentanyl, and all illegal aliens stop this invasion of our country. Both Mexico and Canada have the absolute right in power to easily solve this long-simmering
Starting point is 00:20:47 problem, unquote. Okay. So the usual Trump hyperbole, although they don't have total power to stop it, but certainly Ottawa and Mexico City could help us. Stop it. Now, why is he doing this? Because this is a negotiating tool. Mexico, Trump can destroy their economy. Boom. Kind of a little harder. But damage, whoa. So what Trump's going to do through his emissaries, and I assume Marco Rubio's new Secretary of State be involved, is say, look, here's what you got to do. to tamp down on people and drugs coming into the United States.
Starting point is 00:21:30 And we'll dictate what little Justin Trudeau does in Ottawa and what Shinebloom, Claudia Shinebaum, the new Mexican president, does down there. We'll tell him what to do. Trump did this last time with Obrador. He said, look, you've got to put your army on the north with us in Guatemala on border in the south, and you've got to stop the migrants from coming in through the caravans.
Starting point is 00:21:55 and Oberdoer had to, or Trump would have wiped out their economy. You're going to do exactly the same thing. That's why the threat. It's never going to come to that. Both Canada and Mexico City are going to go, okay, we'll do what you did take. They will. You wait and see. Now, if you had heard that story analyzed that way, please tell me where.
Starting point is 00:22:22 Bill at Bill O'Reilly.com, Bill at Bill O'Reilly.com, name and town. Tell me where you heard that analysis if you had heard it somewhere else. Power, politics, and the people behind the headlines. I'm Miranda Devine, New York Post columnist and the host of the brand new podcast, Podforce One. Every week, I'll sit down for candid conversations
Starting point is 00:22:47 with Washington's most powerful disruptors, lawmakers, newsmakers, and even the press. of the United States. Starting point is 00:23:47 Favorability for Donald Trump, Emerson College Poll. Emerson was pretty good in the election polling. 1,000 U.S. registered voters. By the way, oh, by the way, it's a fine. It's a fine. I will pay it. Can't say, by the way.
Starting point is 00:24:05 Emerson is in Boston. It's a media school, specializes in media, good school. All right, 1,000 U.S. registered voters. Here is the question. Do you have a favorable, unfavorable view of Donald Trump? Favorable 54% up from 48 pre-election. and unfavorable 46. So Trump has got some wind at his back, right?
Starting point is 00:24:28 Second question. Now, surprise, if at all, were you about the results of the 24 presidential election? Surprise 46, not surprised 54. Now, the reason the favorability numbers are up is because the stock market is up in three weeks, 7%. The Dow. So people are making money. I don't know whether I'll continue, nobody knows. But people who are making money, favorability rises.
Starting point is 00:25:01 All right, the media, we mentioned that the media behind the progressives, probably more important in even Soros, and I'd have to go over it again. Let's start with cable TV. So you've got two networks devoted to destroying Donald Trump, MSNBC and CNN. net. And they're both on the ropes. Nobody's watching them now. Last, the first three quarters of this year, cable in general, all cable, lost five million subscribers. Last year, 23, they lost five million subscribers. I'm sorry. First three quarters of this year, six million. Last year, 25, 225. 16 million in two years. Americans said no cable. I don't pay it $200 a month.
Starting point is 00:25:54 I'm going to go someplace else. Okay. Where are they going? They're going to YouTube and other places like YouTube, but YouTube is the big dog. So let me prove it to you. Since I started promoting the Bill O'Reilly YouTube channel, all right, that was three months ago. 800,000 subscribers, 800,000. And we'll hit a million, and then we'll go on at two million. Because it's easy. Go to YouTube, you can see what segments we have, my commentaries, I'm gonna do a new one tonight
Starting point is 00:26:32 for Thanksgiving, much easy. And you already have it on your phone, you're not paying for it. Bill O'Reilly YouTube channel's free. Okay, so if you go to, YouTube.com slash Bill O'Reilly, get what we have. And we have a lot of really great stuff there. That's what's wiping out the cable news industry. And it's just not YouTube alone. There's a lot of different places you can get, Instagram, you know what it is. Now, on the
Starting point is 00:27:05 network front, they have lost total, all three of them, 37% of their audience in the last five years, unsustainable. And is anybody who voted for Donald Trump, anybody? All right, what did Trump get now? 70-something million votes? One person who voted for Donald Trump have a favorable view of CBS, NBC, and ABC? One? No. They alienated 75 million Americans, boom, out of the jump. Adults over 18. So they're done, they're finished, and nobody's coming back. See, this is not coming back.
Starting point is 00:27:54 Technology is giving Americans the individual power to access information for much lower cost than they used to pay. You'd have to be, you know. I have to keep my table thing because I've got to have access to everything to, you know. But most people I know. or dumping it or going someplace else. So it's a huge shift. Final component of this. The people on television and in the movies,
Starting point is 00:28:27 boy, they've hurt themselves. Whoa. I mean, it's okay if you wanted to support Joe Biden or Kamala Harris. Okay, but to be obnoxious about it, That's not okay. You're going to make enemies. Roll the tape. Let's be honest, it was a terrible night last night.
Starting point is 00:28:49 It was a terrible night for women, for children, for the hundreds of thousands of hardworking immigrants who make this country go. For health care, for climate, for science, for journalism, for justice, for free speech. The majority has spoken, and they said they don't care that much about democracy. And I want to take a moment to congratulate Kamala Harris on Tim Walls on running an amazing 107-day time. Now we really see America. We really see what America is all about. And it's frightening.
Starting point is 00:29:29 Now, are they helping themselves in any way? No. You know, people watch and they go, this is unfair. and we don't really want to hear from you again. It's so self-destructive for Creos. I have a few more. Rob Reiner, you know, Meathead, and All the Family, very talented director.
Starting point is 00:29:53 The guy is very good if you look at his movies. Here's what he tweeted. And now that America has elected a convicted felon with authoritarian proclivities, I fear democracy's return won't be any time soon. Don't worry about it. Rob, you'll still be able to spout anything you want. on a spot out there. And if you're not, I'll come out and help you. All right, John Cusack,
Starting point is 00:30:15 the actor, quote, fact that the country would choose to destroy itself by voting in a convicted felon rapist and Nazi, the sign of deep nihilism, to put it mildly. So Cusack, his career is over. Are you going to go see a movie that he's in? No, you're not. And finally, Madonna, You know, oh my God. Quote, trying to get my head around why I convicted felon rapist, bigot, chosen to lead our country because he's good for the economy. Well, that might be because people don't have $100 million like you, lady, and they are struggling to raise their children. That might be the reason, right? I'm picking on them because they deserve to be picked on.
Starting point is 00:31:08 Walmart. So there are 10,600 Walmarts in the United States of America. And it's a good place if you're looking to save money. And they sell my book, so that's another good thing. They're run by a guy named Doug McMillan. I think they're out of Arkansas, Walmart. and a huge success. So they got caught up in awoke Walmart.
Starting point is 00:31:34 I was surprised when they did. And now I say, we made a mistake. We're no longer going to consider race and gender to boost diversity when granting contracts and stop collecting demographic data when assessing financing eligibility. So it's going to stop using the term D.E.I. Walmart has. learn somehow and conversion. I'm not going to be woke anymore. Why? Because consumers don't want that. And, you know, if you keep it up, they're not going to shop. We're in the Walmart.
Starting point is 00:32:18 So they're not. Here's the quote from Walmart. We've been on a journey. Oh, isn't that precious? And no, we aren't perfect, but every decision comes from a place of wanting to foster a sense of belonging to open doors to opportunities for all our associates, customers, and suppliers, and it'll be a Walmart for everyone. That's so nice. Isn't that nice? Opportunities for everyone. All I want when I go in there is toothpaste. I don't really want an opportunity from Walmart. I just want soap.
Starting point is 00:32:53 Okay. smart life on this subject. So, as you know, we have a concierge membership to Bill O'Reilly.com. And I set that up because Americans need help sometimes. We all need help sometimes. And some of our support systems aren't there for various reasons. And so I said, look, I'll set up a club. Concierge membership is basically a club where people have problems or want more information
Starting point is 00:33:22 about something, have a direct line to me. And within 24 hours, we'll get back and we'll tell you what we can do for you. Now, 90% of the questions, the problems are legitimate. And I feel so sorry for people who get sick and they have financial problems and they have family problems. But that is life. Everybody has them. And my job is to try to figure out how to help you. And we're pretty good at it.
Starting point is 00:33:50 I got a guy Nick Beardy who works with me. a primary concierge guy. He's really good. And we've helped thousands of people, whatever it may be. But I got a letter today from Alaska, a small town in Alaska. And a guy goes, I need an insurance agent. Can you recommend one? So I'm on Long Island. He's in Alaska. I've been to Alaska three times. Stunning. Got to go. Okay. But I don't know any insurance agents in ask it. I don't know any. But they're there. So we reply back, you got to find it yourself. You've got to find him or her yourself. And you do that. Here's how you do that. You talk to people, you know. And you say, hey, who's your agent? And then you go and you talk to that person.
Starting point is 00:34:48 And you get quotes, written quotes. And then you talk to another one and another one. And then you make a decision. It took me six months. I dumped Allstate. Okay. Sorry Allstate, but it was ridiculous. I had no claims and you rocketed my premiums on everything because you lost money during COVID. No. So we did a detective search and we found out. I'm not going to tell you what the new company is because they may not be any good. I just hired him a few months ago. But all of they got, because it was ridiculous, absurd. They couldn't explain it. But I knew what they were doing.
Starting point is 00:35:33 But I put my people on it. It took six months to find a company that looked good, better business bureau, all of that. And their rates were, they're still high, but they're not close to being exploitative. That's how you do it. But when you become a premium and concierge member, concierge in this case, small. life. Know that I'm not omipotent. I don't know in Montana who the best Uber driver is in Great Falls. I just don't know. Not there. So use your access to me in a way where we can help you. And we hope you for Christmas, what a fabulous gift to give somebody, especially if they're
Starting point is 00:36:19 having a hard time. You know, Bill O'Reilly.com, concierge membership. Okay. Epic Times. You know this newspaper, Epic Times? So it's a non-profit. They say it's nonpartisan, but it's conservative. And they publish daily, weekly, all bunch of stuff. Now, I don't read it every day, but I have read enough of it. And they do very interesting subjects. Of course, when any newspaper writes anything, I have my people check it. I don't quote from any newspaper ever. But Epic Times, you know, they got my attention. And it's run by a group of Chinese who were persecuted by the communists and got here, the land of opportunity, and set this Epic Times up. Anyway, I'm telling you this because they wrote a review of confronting the presidents. Very rare. The establishment corporate media is jealous of me. I'm the best-selling nonfiction author in the world.
Starting point is 00:37:21 and they black me out, totally. Here's what the accurate time said quote about confronting the president. The authors do a remarkable job of going beyond what's traditionally known about presidents. Peel away the veneer of heroism and prestige common in school history books and highlight the humanity of each commander-in-chief. All 44 presidents portrayed had strengths, weaknesses, character flaws that shape their character and actions. Many readers may be learning about these for the first time. And we're very flattered to have the Epictomics review.
Starting point is 00:37:57 And it just shows me that the independent media, again, it's just early. Corporate media is so corrupt, I've given up on them. I've given up on them. You're just not going to be able to convert them back to fairness and reality. But the Epic Times, thank you. Stay in history, November 26, 2021, World Health Organization, WHO identifies a new COVID variant. Okay, we don't care about that.
Starting point is 00:38:30 That happened three years ago today, November 26, 2021. Here's what we care about, the stats on COVID. More than 7 million people have died worldwide, and it's still going on. Okay. 1.2 Americans dead. In the USA alone, the COVID virus has cost more than $70 billion to deal with. And that doesn't include the long-term COVID and all of that. No one knows where the virus came from because the Chinese communists will not let him be investigated.
Starting point is 00:39:11 We believe it came out of Wuhan lab. that they were messing around and they were trying to weaponize something and it got into somebody's system and boom. The Chinese to this day, say only 5,000 people died from COVID in China, a nation of 1.5 billion. The most accurate reporting there, and it's a guess, is that 5 million died in China alone. But we don't know because nobody can investigate. it. Anyway, that happened three years ago today. Fascinating story. We'll never get to the bottom of it. Back with a final thought in a moment. All right, final thought. My Thanksgiving week is well underway. I went to the Islanders game last night, played to Detroit Red Wings. Islanders lost.
Starting point is 00:40:03 They've gotten up to a very shaky start, but we have faith. But I was there in the arena, and everybody's very nice, and posing for pictures. And everybody, one guy came up and said, didn't you play hockey at Chamanagh at high school? And I said, yeah, I'm a hockey player. And he looked at me, he goes, well, I would really like to see you have a picture. And I go, yeah, I have a picture. Put it on up. On the radio, there I am, 1967, O'Reilly shooting.
Starting point is 00:40:37 And I played defense because they needed some beef on the back line for the weaker team. teams and then I played goalie for the stronger teams. And we were good. We were good. Notice no helmet, no helmet. In 1967, high school hockey, college hockey, pro hockey, no helmets. Luckily, I got, I didn't get these scars. It was tough. But I thought you might enjoy seeing a little bit of my youth. Okay, on everybody to have a great Thanksgiving. We're going to be off tomorrow. We'll be back on Monday. I have a column on Sunday for you. Just relax. Please do me a favor. I want everybody to relax. Have fun. No politics. And if it comes up, be funny, be funny. Starting point is 00:41:32 Let's bring it all down. All right. And then we'll start it up again on Monday. Thank you very much for watching and listening on our radio affiliates all across the country to the no been news, happy Thanksgiving.
