Starting point is 00:00:00 Hey Bill O'Reilly here. Welcome to the No Spin News for Wednesday, November 2nd, 2022, The Day of the Dead in Mexico and All Souls Day here in the USA. Interesting tradition there if you want to investigate it. Stand up for your country if you're alive. You can't if you're dead. So you may remember last week I predicted that things are going to get really nasty the last few days before the vote. And of course, I am Karnak the Magnificent again. Remember Karnak from the Johnny Carson Show?
Starting point is 00:00:44 Because they're getting really nasty. And that is the subject of this evening's Talking Points memo. Let's begin with who's angrier in this country right now? The right or the left? I'm going to submit to you. it's the right, even though the left still hates Trump and they're still doing all kinds of bad stuff as far as trying to undermine our traditional system. This is my opinion, of course. But the right is furious because all Americans are getting hurt, even leftists, but the right
Starting point is 00:01:17 knows why, because of the incompetence of the Biden administration. And the real frustration to those who aren't ideologically driven, like myself, is that there is no attempt to be being made to solve any problems. None. It's a denial, denial, denial. I mean, Biden, oh, no, we don't have an open border. Hockel in New York. No, it's a crime problem. No, no, it's the Republicans. It works there. Oh, no. And you'll hear in a few minutes one of the most astounding sound bites from Joe Biden that I have ever heard. Yet they get away with it because the corporate media has collapsed. I can't report anything now. So we begin on the nasty side. Let me do one more short setup. The conservatives are angrier and are more likely to vote because of that. They're angry because they're getting
Starting point is 00:02:13 hurt financially. That's breaking it all down. The left is angry, but they know that things were a lot better under the Trump administration economically. There's no doubt about that. But they're getting really nasty because they know they're going to lose. And we're going to get into that throughout this hour. But they know it's almost all over. And so I'm going to give you three examples of nastiness. Roll tape one. I also support the fact that Carrie Lake's a piece of shit. So I'm glad she did that ad. And no one is going to say that you haven't put it all out on the line in the bluntest terms possible. That woman is an idiot. If that guy had ever said that on any program that I anchored, he would have been immediately dismissed. You don't say things like
Starting point is 00:03:07 that. Carry Lakes a piece of that. You don't do that on a legitimate program. That program on MSNBC is not legitimate. It's an entertainment vehicle. But to that woman to sit there and allow that kind of behavior, it's just shocking. But it happens all the time. The second example we have is from a woman named Jennifer Lewis, who's an actress. She is campaigning for Val Demings, running against Rubio for the Senate in Florida. Here's what she said. His, y'all see that debate?
Starting point is 00:03:55 Lide his . Val Demings will win. She will win. She will win. She will win. So I say to Marco, and all those other weak men. Before you lie to us, remember Rosa sat on that bus.
Starting point is 00:04:40 Vile. I mean, it's disgraceful. Thou Demings will not win. she'll go down by about 12 to 15 points that woman and remember demings picked her to do that they knew what she was going to say to invoke rosa parks to uh call a sitting senator a liar lied his ass off what kind of campaign is that what is that what is that it's it's simple hard to believe. It really is hard to believe. Third example is worse. This is a statement put up on the website for the White House. Quote, the guy purchases a hammer to kneecap the number three in line to be president of the United States of America. Number two in line, I should say,
Starting point is 00:05:39 to be the United President of the United States of America. It is number three, by the way. And Biden continues, and nobody on that party, the Republican Party, condemns it for exactly what it is. Says it's not because I made a comment about this to be expected when you have leaders of the other party condoning the kind of conduct. That is, I just discussed, and others. It's just gibberish that statement. That's on the White House press website. Can you believe that? So he's basically said that nobody in the Republican Party condemned the attack on Paul Pelosi.
Starting point is 00:06:21 I'll just give you a few names because we don't have time to give them all. Senator Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, Ted Cruz, Steve Scalese, Dick Cheney, Rand Paul, on and on and on. In fact, I don't know any Republican that did not contend that attack. yet he goes up there and just talk about lying your you know what off now i'm not going to accuse by to doing that because i respect the office okay and i'm not going to get into that kind of vitriol but biden gets up there he doesn't know what he's saying and that's not an excuse for biden and he just just if you read this statement you really should go to the white website and punch it up. Or if you're a Bill O'Reilly.com premium member, you can re-wrack this
Starting point is 00:07:13 and you can see the statement again. Put it up again full screen. Put the statement up so everybody can see it now. This is the president of the United States. All right? And he doesn't know who's number two or three in line to be president. He doesn't know that. He can't articulate what he's saying at all. And then he accuses the Republican party of not condemning. Nobody on that party condemns it. It is almost as if we are in Venezuela or a country that has no standards, political standards at all. All right, so I gave us the specificity that I think the talking points memo always does, and that's it. So let's get to real clear politics. That's a website. So right now, they are pro-nosticating that the Republicans will pick up 31 seats in the
Starting point is 00:08:17 House, 31, which you give them a big majority of the House. I think it's going to be 40 to 45, right? As far as the Senate is concerned, real clear is forecasting four pickups. It'll be 54, GOP. I think that will be accurate, the four pickups. And then you won't have Georgia because neither candidate is going to reach the 50% threshold down there. Now, because of this, Democrats just beside themselves. They don't know what to do. So they're lashing out, acting out, as they say with children. And it's going to get worse than the next five days. We are on it. We are on it. And everybody, does this, I'm going to bring them right to you. So you don't ever forget. But here's Joe Biden
Starting point is 00:09:13 scheduled today. He didn't do anything. All right. He was talking about training Americans for good jobs and inflation reduction act. But he didn't really do anything. But he did something yesterday. And it's incredible. It's absolutely incredible. Okay, come back to me. This is a public speech in Florida, the Johnson Community Center, and here it is, go. We have the lowest inflation rate of almost any major country in the world. We've done a lot to try to take it under control.
Starting point is 00:09:50 I've released millions of barrels of oil from our strategic patrolers are keeping the price down. We have the lowest inflation rate of almost any major country in the world. We'll get to that in a minute. Okay, yeah. He did release more oil from the reserve, and since he had done that, oil prices here are up 6%.
Starting point is 00:10:16 Okay. Now going down, price of a barrel of oil going up. All right, on the lowest inflation front, here are the countries with lower inflation than we have. Here they are, a lot of them. China, Japan, Saudi Arabia, Switzerland, South Korea, Indonesia, France, Canada, Brazil, Australia, Spain, India, Singapore, South Africa. It's unbelievable. Yet, I didn't see any of the corporate media calling him out on that. I don't care what he says.
Starting point is 00:10:58 You can say whatever he wants to say. I was on Hannity's radio program today, and I said, When Barack Obama ran for president, okay, this could not have happened. Obama could not have said all of these false things and gotten away with it, even though the press wanted desperately for him to be president. They would back then have called him out on it. Now they don't. That's the deterioration.
Starting point is 00:11:30 And it goes hand in hand. You want political lying? It's simple to do. if nobody's going to call you on it. Now, again, for Biden, he doesn't know what countries have a lower inflation rate. He doesn't even know what inflation is, the higher prices. He doesn't know how it gets here. He doesn't know how to bring it down.
Starting point is 00:11:54 It's, it's, it's, I, I, I, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I'm sure you get it. I'm so frustrated on this. All right, so nobody knows, obviously, what's going to happen on November 8th next Tuesday, but the betters are laying money on the results. Let's bring in Maxim Lott. You've seen him before. He's in Swarthmore, Pennsylvania, executive producer for Stossel TV.
Starting point is 00:12:19 That would be John Stossel. And he's the creator of election betting odds.com. First of all, explain to us there's no legalized betting on politics in America, correct? Well, it's complicated. So our website averages the odds from five different websites. Most of them are in the UK. There's one in the Bahamas. But there is one in the U.S.
Starting point is 00:12:42 that regulators gave an exception to. It's called Predictit.com. It's had an exception for like eight years. So Americans right now can go and bet on the election there, and our site holds data from there. But the regulators just announced a few months ago. They're ending that exception. And in February of next year, there will be no serious election betting in the U.S.
Starting point is 00:13:06 But our site will keep reporting the odds. But the feds won't do anything about it even if there is. I don't believe they do anything about it. And then off the grid, people are betting on the election all over the place, right? Right. That's true. There are sites, people even are using cryptocurrency and on places like polymarket, and they're betting. And our side just takes all of those and averages them together.
Starting point is 00:13:29 Now, why did the feds ban betting on politics? Well, they say that it could give people bad incentives, like, oh, if you've $25,000 on the line, you're going to push a candidate regardless of whether they're good or not. And you could have insider trading from, you know, campaign staff. Those are the things they say they're concerned about. Those seem pretty trivial to me compared with getting to know what's going to happen. And people can also say, oh, I'm really worried about this. person coming to office i can at least make some money off it you know kind of hedging your
Starting point is 00:14:04 your risk there so i think it should be allowed obviously all right so you track 730 candidates this year um no so that's our track our okay soon should be gone okay uh so let's talk about the uh overall picture and again this is for people who are laying money down what is it ladsbroke Is that the one in England, a big betting place? That's a big one. What we pull from is a bet fair and markets in the UK, because they have kind of almost like a stock exchange type thing set up where it's very, there's no booky.
Starting point is 00:14:42 It's like people are trading with each other, just like on a stock market. All right. The odds of the Republicans winning the House are? They're 88%. So Republicans are locked for the House. Okay. Senate?
Starting point is 00:14:55 it? It's two-thirds, which changed a lot since we last talked. It was a coin toss. Now the Republicans are pretty strongly favored for the Senate. Okay. Arizona is a very hotly contested state in the gubernatorial and in the Senate. What's that look like there? Yeah, that's an interesting one. It just flipped yesterday from a slight edge for Kelly to a slight edge for Masters. and that happened when the libertarian announced he was endorsing the Republican. So that flipped it over the edge. It's still basically a coin toss, but it's interesting to see the effect of that. And how about Lake?
Starting point is 00:15:37 She's strongly favored. Oh, okay, the betters are going in for Lake there. All right, Nevada, Republican Senate candidate and governor candidate, correct? Yeah. So the Senate race is pretty strongly favored for the Republican now. I'm actually a little surprised to see that because Nevada hasn't, the statewide race hasn't gone Republican since 2014. And they also, they mail ballots to everyone, regardless of whether they request one.
Starting point is 00:16:11 So there's a lot of room. I've had relatives send me photos of mail rooms and apartments in Nevada and their ballots everywhere. But they say the Republican has favored 72 percent. That's laxal. For the governor, the Republican has also favored 75 percent. That would be amazing. If it was a landslide in Nevada, that would be an indicator for all over the country. Yeah. Now, Georgia, what's the situation between Warnock and Walker? Yeah, so that remains super close. That has flipped when we last talked Walk, Warnock was up about 60% at about 60% chance. Now Walker has a 60% chance.
Starting point is 00:16:55 And the polls are also slightly favoring Walker. So he has the edge. But we'll see. It's a coin toss. A lot of these races are so close. That Vince Dooley commercial, the late coach of the Georgia Bulldogs where Walker played, that has, according to people I know in Georgia, made a big difference. preference, particularly among African-American voters who are now swinging over to him.
Starting point is 00:17:21 Interesting. Yeah, I can see that because the odds are shifting. That's what I can see. New Hampshire. New Hampshire is something when we last talked three weeks ago, it wasn't even in play. It was 80% Democrat. Now it's 58% Hassan has only 58%. So Bullduck, he's been going around to all these town halls, I've been doing multiple ones a day. It seems like there might be a grassroots shift there. And the Republicans have a chance to grab that one now. Okay. I think that Bulldogs going to beat her up there.
Starting point is 00:17:55 And because, you know, there are so many independents in New Hampshire who are getting hammered. Heating oil bills in New Hampshire this winter, that's going to put a lot of people into the red. I mean, you're going to make household budgets collapse. That's how bad that is. Wisconsin, Ohio, and North Carolina, you say, are, according to betters, are safe Senate seats for Republicans, right? Yeah, that's right. Those used to be close, but now it's just like more than 85% for each of those. Pretty much a done deal.
Starting point is 00:18:29 Now, Sean Hannity was telling me today, and I don't have data to back it up, that Patty Murray, the liberal Democrat in Washington, is tied with her opponent. what's going on in Washington state? So there were some polls suggesting that the better still say, you know, she's an incumbent in a blue state. She's still strongly favored. She's got 79 percent. But that race, it shouldn't even be on the radar. And Republicans do have a chance there.
Starting point is 00:18:57 That's kind of their long shot to get to 55. That would be even worse in California because Washington is all controlled by Seattle as Oregon's controlled by Portland. Now, in New York, there are two. polls, Emerson, which has Hokel out in front by a wide margin, and Trafalgo, which has Zeldon out in front by a small margin. How did the better see that? Yeah, it's another place. The Republicans shouldn't even have a chance, but Lee Zeldon's got 27% chance. He'd be the first Republican since Pataki to be governor there. That seems low to me. That seems low. The momentum is on his side. Hokel booted
Starting point is 00:19:37 in the debate. Another horrendous crime we'll get to in a little while here, right at Hokel store stuff. But it would have to be the machine politics of the city to make that number stand up, I would think. We'll see. That's where you're voting, I guess. Yeah, I'm voting in New York, and I'm going to vote for Zeldon. And I never tell anybody who I'm going to vote for. So I do vote for Democrats. But I can't, in good conscience, vote for Kathy Hokel. puts every single citizen in the state in danger. That's what she does. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:20:13 By the way, it's interesting to compare the media's coverage of Zelda, the guy who attacked Veldon to the Pelosi thing going on now, which is this wall-to-wall. Sure. The media is a partner with the Democratic Party. In Oregon, Christine Drazen, the Republican is favored to win, right? Yeah, which is shocking. She's actually favored to win, not even a long shot. And the big reason is there's this Democrat who's kind of disaffected. She's like, this wasn't my party. She ran as an independent and is draining 10% from the Democrats. So that's how the Republicans are favored to win in Oregon now, forget the governor. Well, I was out of Salem and Portland. I think the whole state will go GOP. And in Michigan, Whitmer's in trouble. Governor Whitmer in trouble, right?
Starting point is 00:21:05 Yeah, she might be. There's a one third chance she'll get booted there. I'm almost surprised it's not higher. She had a lot of COVID scandals from flying to Florida, and she told people not to do that, to being in bars against her own COVID lockdown orders. So there's one third chance she'll be out there in Michigan. Yeah, I don't know that state. I can't make a prediction there. But I knew those some of the polls have a tide right now. So overall, the betters. of people putting their own cash on the line for November 8th, they're saying both houses of Congress will go Republican and many of the gubernatorial races as well. Is that it? Exactly, yeah. The betting is very good news for the Republicans, basically, across the board. And it's a big shift from three weeks ago and six weeks ago. It's all been moving in the Republicans' direction. All right, Maxim, we really appreciate it. Thanks for coming on and helping us out. Thank you, Bill.
Starting point is 00:22:05 Hey, I'm Caitlin Becker, the host of the New York Postcast, and I've got exactly what you need to start your weekdays. Every morning, I'll bring you the stories that matter, plus the news people actually talk about, the juicy details in the world's politics, business, pop culture, and everything in between. It's what you want from the New York Post wrapped up in one snappy show. Ask your smart speaker to play the NY Postcast podcast. Listen and subscribe on Amazon Music, Apple Podcast, Spotify, or wherever you get your podcasts. Okay, so there's a study by the Media Research Center, a very conservative group, but they're meticulous about the facts they put out. So I've been looking at these surveys over the years, and the data that they assemble, we independently checked it, always checks out. So they analyze ABC, CBS, NBC evening news about how they're covering this election cycle.
Starting point is 00:23:10 So all Democrats, positive coverage on the three networks, 33% negative 67%. That may surprise you, but wait, there's more. So Democrats being covered by the three networks, 67% negative coverage. Federman in Pennsylvania, 81%. Biden, 78% negative, okay? And other Democrats, outside of Federman and Biden, are all favorable. Ah, you see how it's skewed? So 57% of the political coverage for Democrats is positive,
Starting point is 00:23:54 but Federman and Biden are big negatives. On the Republican side, total negative on Republican candidates, all of them from the networks, 87%. Total positive 13%. Hershawker, positive 11, negative 89. Oz, positive 18, negative 82. Carrie Lake in Arizona, positive zero. Not one positive comment.
Starting point is 00:24:26 negative 100%. Altogether, Republicans, negative 81, positive 19. Okay, we compare that to Democrats. Altogether, positive 57, negative 43. So you can see the corporate media continues to be allied with the Democratic Party, and it can't, in some cases, justify Federman and Biden. You can't any longer. What they try to do is ignore that as much as possible. Now, I didn't ask Maxim about the senatorial race in Pennsylvania because it's impossible right now. You can't make the call. The Democrat will win the governor. But my gut is, and I hate to go by gut, that Oz will win.
Starting point is 00:25:19 But if the machine in Philadelphia can get out. the minority vote, it'd have to be big. Better men could be the victor. I don't think that'll happen in this World Series this weekend. In Philadelphia, people are distracted there. I don't know. I know any poor person could vote for Joe Biden. I mean, just the inflation rate alone, crippling. Okay. Now, this isn't a terrible story. I'm not going to get into growth. graphic to tell because but i'll give it to you upstate new york okay guy beats up his wife adam benefield he is arrested okay they let him out no bail on the 4th of october the next day he ambushes his wife shoots her dead in front of their three small children
Starting point is 00:26:23 okay so that beats i mean beats up this way out right out next day that's huckle that's the law hokal champion i'm just sitting here going how could any new yorker vote for this woman kansas so interesting case getting no coverage because because it doesn't have to do with modern politics. Woman's name is Allison Fluke Eckron, 42 years old. There she is. Sentenced to 20 years in federal prison for being a member of ISIS. She actually went to Iraq to train ISIS women to kill people.
Starting point is 00:27:17 They caught her. She wound up back in the United States. Iraq as an ally of the USA. Now they extradited her back. She got 20 years. I'm not going to get I don't care. The feds are still on this. If you read killing the killers, one of the few good things that is happening on the federal level is that the anti-terror forces that we have are still aggressively in motion to stop these insane people from killing us. So this woman, Alison Fluke, Bechrane goes away for 20 years. She's 42 years old.
Starting point is 00:27:55 Gets out when she's, and federal president, you serve most of your time. All right, smart lives. So we want you to be healthy and to be around, right? Why wouldn't we want our viewers and listeners to be around? So I always look for things that you might consider in your own personal lives to extend good health. health. And the place that I want to take you today is Japan. So in Japan, which mirrors America's society, very fast moving, a lot of stress. They don't have the divisions that we have there.
Starting point is 00:28:34 Japan is very conformist. But they're trying to hustle a buck over there. And everybody's move and move and move it. So 126 million Japanese, 126 million. Lifespan in Japan. is 85 years that's pretty long okay lifespan here 79 the average lifespan so they got us by six years now the reason they do is because japanese don't eat much red meat or sugar okay they consume fish and plants soybeans tea, their diet is much different than our diet. And I'm telling you that food makes all the difference, particularly when you get older. So when you get older, the inflammation that you have in your body rises. Okay? And if you're slugging in sugar and caffeine and all of these things, the more inflammation you're going to get and the worse you're going to feel,
Starting point is 00:29:46 a little more tired you're going to feel. So Japan, females in Japan live to 88. My God, that is just an amazing thing. They don't have a lot of drug overdose deaths. Japanese very tough on narcotics. It's not acceptable there. But the main thing is the fish and plant-based diet. Now, here in America, you can't really do that. Everybody likes their pizza and their comfort food and their mac and cheese and dairy. And, you know, some people say, look, it's worth me dying at 82 rather than 88 if I can eat the stuff I want to eat. I understand. But there's something in addition to death and there's suffering. You will suffer if you eat fast foods a lot.
Starting point is 00:30:45 foods a lot and you can continue to consume sugary drinks and candy and all of this up you will suffer because your body can't take it smart life to say in history November 2nd 1852 170 years ago Franklin Pierce elected 14th president of the United States now why should you care about Franklin Pierce you're going what is O'Reilly lost his blanket mine there's a tie to Joe Biden okay so Pierce is elected because the immortal Millard Fillmore who took over after Zachary Taylor died was he just couldn't find a men's room all right Miller didn't do anything that's that there so they went to Pierce who was a blue blood
Starting point is 00:31:40 his family came over right after the Mayflower he's a north uh he was a new hampshire right but he was a democrat who believed that the abolitionist movement was a threat to the nation which it was but so what i mean pierce come on this is this is bondage now we're talking about death trading human beings so pierce said i'm not going to do anything about and he didn't okay so he takes over he sits there for four years 1852 to 1856 and he's drunk a lot of the time i mean he's drunk like Andrew Johnson their blotto and it's free all the booze is free because he's president all right so pierce leads to James Buchanan with the same attitude I don't care about the slaves and that leads to George to Abraham Lincoln
Starting point is 00:32:40 but disaster, just stair steps. Now, the reason I don't say that Pierce was a worse president than Biden is that Pierce really didn't do anything. What Biden has done is hurt all of us. He's hurt us. But they're on a par as far as effectiveness is concerned. Okay, Mel, and a final thought. We need you, some of you anyway, to do us a favor.
Starting point is 00:33:10 right back. Hey, it's Sean Spicer from the Sean Spicer Show podcast, reminding you to tune into my show every day to get your daily dose inside the world of politics. Starting point is 00:34:23 You don't want to miss an episode. Okay, let's go to The Mail. We have Kevin Ryan, Scottsdale, Arizona. Bill is the midterms are upon us. I'm bombarded by commercials accusing Republican Canada. of supporting and being involved in white supremacy. How is it that I am 65 years old, have lived all over the nation, and have never met a white supremacist?
Starting point is 00:34:49 Me too. I've never met one. So you know what this is. Rick LeClair, Pace, Florida. Hey, Bill, last night you showed a clip of President Obama being heckled. You commented at the end that we can't have that. Under normal fair conditions, I agree. The silent majority of Americans have been silenced by the blue machine for too long,
Starting point is 00:35:11 and we are just fighting our way back to justice. I'm not buying any of this, Rick. The biggest megaphone in this country is Donald Trump or was. Okay, there's no bigger one. Talk radio is still very vibrant. Conservatives are plenty of outlets. But shouting down people? No.
Starting point is 00:35:31 Not in a robust democracy. Valerie, Bill, do you think it's possible that a lot of Democrats will stay home in New York rather than vote for Zeldon, kind of protest? Would this be enough to put Zelda in? Yeah. If the Democratic machine doesn't turn him out in New York City, Zeldon will win. I still think he's going to win anyway, but I could take it on the chin with that one. Jennifer, wise move to join Cuomo. The more you can get yourself out to discuss your point of view, the better our nation, which needs to hear a different perspective. Look, we are in business to persuade. I think my arguments are pretty strong against Cuomo's, and that's what we do it. We'll be on a
Starting point is 00:36:20 couple of times next week. I'll tell you when. Sharon, it doesn't matter what O'Reilly says on crime and mental illness, Cuomo will contradict Bill because they're on opposite sides of most issues. Fine. Let the best argument win, Sharon. Michael Gibson, St. Vincent, and the Grenad Deans. What a nice place. Oh, boy. So Michael says, if Mr. Trump did anything illegal on his tax returns, wouldn't the IRS deal with him?
