Starting point is 00:00:00 Hey, Bill O'Reilly here. Welcome to the No Spin News, Tuesday, May 16th, 2023, stand up for your country. Unfortunately, we live in a corrupt country. It's still worth standing up for because at the heart of it is a noble nation. but corruption has taken over. Now, this doesn't mean it'll always be that way. It could change back, but we need better leadership, that's for sure. The federal government and the media are driving the corruption.
Starting point is 00:00:43 If you watch us regularly here on the No Spin News and listen to us on our radio stations all across the country, you know that I methodically have pointed that out, that there is corruption here, and it is depressing to me, but I'm going to fight against it, and that is the subject of this evening's Talking Points Memo. So the Durham report is finally out, finally out. Four years in the making, April 2019, John Durham, assigned to investigate the origins of the Federal Bureau of Investigation probe into Russian interference in the 2016 U.S. election between Trump and Hillary Clinton.
Starting point is 00:01:32 All that time, four years plus a month, before Durham could write a 300-page report. Okay, I'm a pithy guy, I'm a simple man, we'll get right to the heart of the report so you don't have to read 300 pages. Here is the key passage. Quote, the DOJ, and FBI should recognize that lack of analytical rigor, apparent confirmation bias, and an over-willingness to rely on information from individuals connected to political opponents, cause investigators to fail to adequately consider alternative hypothesis and to act without appropriate objectivity or restraint in pursuing allegations of collusion or conspiracy. between a U.S. political campaign and a foreign power, unquote.
Starting point is 00:02:30 That, of course, is the Trump campaign and Russia. So basically that boils down to, in pinheady bureaucratic language, the FBI did not conduct the investigation in a fair manner. Why? Because it wanted Hillary Clinton to beat Donald Trump. Now, the Mueller report issued in March of 2019, boy, four years ago already, man, here's what Attorney General William Barr said. Quote, the special counsel found that Russia did interfere with the election, but did not find that the Trump campaign or anyone associated with it conspired or coordinated with the Russian government in these efforts. despite multiple efforts from Russian-affiliated individuals to assist the Trump campaign. So the Trump campaign actually fended the Russians off, and Mueller found no collusion.
Starting point is 00:03:32 So let's put this to bed. There was no collusion. The Trump campaign did nothing wrong. Okay? And that's the fact. Now, how much did this cost us? It costs us about $12 million at least, $6.5 million for Durham, and about $5 million. for Mueller. So all the Mueller people and the Durham people live pretty large on us. But that's okay, because we finally have a stake through the heart of the propagandists who convicted Trump and his campaign of heinous activities with Russia. Remember how they convicted them? Roll it. This week, we saw cold, hard evidence of the Trump campaign, indeed that Trump found family, eagerly intending to collude possibly with Russia, a hostile foreign power to influence American elections.
Starting point is 00:04:32 The Russians offered help. The campaign accepted help. The Russians gave help, and the president made full use of that help, and that is pretty damning. The Russians were successful. I don't think there's any way to read that report and not conclude. They accomplished what they set out to do. They had an objective to sow discord and divisiveness within our society at large and to help Donald Trump.
Starting point is 00:04:59 And they succeeded. Okay. So all three of those people have not issued any apologies at all, okay, nothing, no perspective, and they get away with it. Because the media allows them to get away with it. What about Trump lies, okay? How many times have you heard that? a million times. Trump lies. Okay. You want to think Trump lies and think that. Well, what about Pelosi lies? Schiff lies. Hillary Clinton lies. Joe Biden says the board is secure. Is that a lie?
Starting point is 00:05:34 That's not true. So you see, the fix is in. And this is what I'm talking about about corruption. So not only did the most powerful investigative agency in the world, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Okay, try to influence a presidential election. Not only did they do that, but media people allowed Pelosi, Schiff, Hillary Clinton, and thousands of others to convict the Trump people. And now it's like, oh, uh. Now, behind the curtain, the wizard of Oz, the wizard of corruption, in my opinion, humble opinion, his man named Andrew Weissman. Remember him? He served as lead prosecutor
Starting point is 00:06:25 for Mueller, the special counsel's office. He was the chief investigator. But he did not like the Mueller report at all. No. When it was issued, he wrote a book. And in the book, he says that the special counsel, Robert Mueller, made mistakes and could have done more. Because Weissman wanted the report to indicate that Trump colluded with Russia. So pull Weissman's picture back up. And those of you on the radio listening to me, he's got glasses. He looks like a Washington cat, as Miller would say. And now Weissman is trying to tear the Durham report apart. Roll the tape on that. You want to talk about a witch hunt or sort of real wasted resources. You know, There are a lot of things to investigate.
Starting point is 00:07:16 There are a lot of things that can be useful in government. If John Durham was really just doing an investigation to talk about what are better policies and practices that the FBI could have and was depoliticizing it, I would have been all for that and said, great, you know what? There's no agency that can't use greater scrutiny. But this was trying to say that there's a big there there there when, you know, there's no there there there. He's a moron. This guy at the highest level of the Justice Department is a blanket moron. No, they're there. Uh, yeah, there is.
Starting point is 00:07:52 The FBI inserted itself in a presidential election trying to tilt it to Hillary Clinton. Oh, okay. So is Weissman going to be held accountable? No. Who are the other big shots that causes James Comey, former director of the FBI? Assistant Director Andrew McCabe, who's on CNN now, and Peter Strzok, the notorious Peter Strzok, who headed the fraudulent investigation. Any of them going to get prosecuted or Durham doesn't even mention them. Doesn't even mention their names.
Starting point is 00:08:28 They're not getting prosecuted, not under Merrick Garland. So I wrote a message of the day that explains why this corruption continues. So if you got a director of the FBI, an assistant director, and a assistant director in a law, lead investigator, and the Mueller report says nothing happened, and the Durham report says the FBI knew nothing happened, but investigated anyway, somebody should be prosecuted, right? Right? But no, because the government's corrupt. Justice Department's corrupt. It's just so deflating for a person like me, and I bet you too, who loves our country.
Starting point is 00:09:09 It's just so deflating. Anyway, the message of the day, I hope you read it, post it on Bill O'Reilly.com. You don't have to be a premium concierge member. You go in there and read it. And that's a memo. Okay, let's get to the president's schedule. He's got debt talks.
Starting point is 00:09:26 And I'm not going to speculate on this. If you want speculation, go to the network and cable news. I'm going to let it play out. I believe they'll come. to a deal. But they're chatting about it. And then it's Jewish-American heritage bunch. I didn't even know that. So Biden's going to do something about that tonight, or late this afternoon. Financial disclosures on the president and vice president. Pretty interesting. So according to the
Starting point is 00:09:58 Office of Government Ethics, is that redundant? Is that redundant? Is that? I don't know. No, it's not redundant. I'm used the wrong word there. Office of government ethics. Anyway, here's what Joe Biden and Jill Biden are worth. Between a million and $2,500,000. I don't believe that for a second. I don't think that counts the money Hunter Biden. That's snide. I'm sorry. That's snarky. And Kamala and her husband, they're worth between. between three and a half and eight and a half million. You can't narrow it down more than that? I mean, these are public servants. The real estate alone, the Bidens, have a word, way more than $2.5 million. So this is the government ethics.
Starting point is 00:10:49 They're putting it out. I don't believe a word of it. Neither should you. All right, the corrupt media. Let's just get back to this for a moment. Do I spend too much time on the media? if I do write me, Bill at Bill O'Reilly.com, bill at bill o'Reilly.com.
Starting point is 00:11:07 But this is my profession, and I guess I'm obsessed with it a little bit, but if you're bored by it, tell me. I think I've made my case that it's a crop, but, you know, if you want me to de-intensify, well. But the Durham report comes out, and right away, the pro-Biden anti-Trump crew sway into action.
Starting point is 00:11:28 MSNBC is the leader of the PAC, go. Wait, do you in Durham? Like, do you guys have tea parties every weekend to talk about how you can destroy your reputations in your career? Durham tried this, remember? He changed conspiracy theories to try to prove that the FBI was corrupt and rigged the 2016 election. He made a fool of himself time and time and time again. And now we have lost informants. In fact, the informant that this entire charade was supposedly bull.
Starting point is 00:12:03 built on. He's talking about the Hunter Biden case there, and Durham made a fool of himself time and time again. I haven't seen that. I think Durham gutted the system and took as much money as he could out of it, but I think his report is basically honest. So you may remember that that man, Scarborough, was a Republican congressman from Florida from 1995, 2001 that he hired on with MSNBC, and now he's a big lefty. Same thing with Nicole Wallace, who works for MSNBC. She was Bush the Youngers campaign communications director, all right? And then she worked on John McCain's 2008 presidential campaign,
Starting point is 00:12:47 and now she's a raving lefty on MSNBC. So maybe they were converted. Maybe they had a St. Paul moment on the road to Damascus, and a voice kind of said, you need to be far left progressives this is god i don't know if that happened i kind of doubted i think maybe the conversion came uh when the checks were cashed maybe don't want to be cynical that's the second snarky thing i've said in what 13 minutes on the no spin news tonight i'm not going to apologize for that because i think that's accurate but the other thing i was too snoring
Starting point is 00:13:29 Sean Spicer from the Sean Spicer Show podcast, reminding you to tune into my show every day to get your daily dose inside the world of politics. Starting point is 00:14:27 Spotify, or wherever you get your podcasts. All right, cable companies. So if you're watching me right now, there are a variety of ways you can do that. We are distributed by the first TV, okay? And we are on all kinds of other YouTube and I can't even keep track of it, all right? I have to keep track of the editorial content of the NOSPA news, but I know we're distributed all over the world. we're not on a cable system per se. We are on direct TV, and we're very pleased to be on
Starting point is 00:15:06 direct TV, by the way. But we're not on Comcast, like that's the biggest one. But Comcast is in trouble. All right, so they have lost, they are losing almost 7,000 customers a day, a day. This is called cutting the cord. And all the other cables are losing that, too, because people don't want to pay $250 a month for cable television. Okay? It's simple. It's economics. And you can get shows like the no-spin news and other presentations without paying that hefty fee.
Starting point is 00:15:47 Now, we have a pay-per-view service on bill o'Reilly.com, but we keep the price really, really low. Okay. So you can watch me on your device anytime you want, on demand. Okay. And you get a whole bunch of other stuff if you sign up for premium or concierge membership on Bill O'Reilly.com. So what I've done when I left Fox News six years ago, a little bit more now, I went around the corporations, okay, because I didn't want to work for them anymore. And someday I'll explain why, but the important thing is I left and I immediately started below Riley.com. It was up and running while I was at Fox, but then we created a news agency, which is what we have. We are an independent news agency. I've told you this before. The most successful one in the world. No corporate masters, no phone calls from investors, private company.
Starting point is 00:16:56 Okay? I do what I want. And that, believe me, is such a relief from me working for a corporation. I could never do that again. So anyway, there is this massive shift away from network and cable news. You could see it, particularly among the younger set in America. When I say younger, 55 years and down. see i see the ratings every day fox news has lost all of its younger audience all of it they're they're doing 150 000 200 000 that kind of thing i did a million when i was there 25 to 54
Starting point is 00:17:41 on occasion okay i mean it's just stunning younger americans now the older people who want the martini and they want the remote they stay they're going to be the last ones at closing time, but closing time is rapidly coming. And therefore, the information flow to you, the American citizen, the American voter, is changing dramatically, and most Americans don't know that. So let's take a fast look at what has stimulated this story, and that would be a man named Tucker Carlson. So he took over from me.
Starting point is 00:18:21 It took him about two and a half years to write the ship after I left, and his ratings started to grow, and he was successful. No doubt about that. But it took him a while to do it, and he did it differently than I did. Carlson and O'Reilly are two different guys. So Fox takes him off the air, and you know the story, and now Mr. Carlson says he's going on Twitter to do what he did on Fox. Same kind of show. Now, there has been no formal deal as of this morning, Tuesday, May 16th, Elon Musk says we don't have a deal, but I think a deal will be forthcoming.
Starting point is 00:19:03 Carlson and Musk have a relationship. You remember that he interviewed Musk on Fox. But I'm not sure on how this is going to come down. I don't know. You know, when I left Fox, I took five people from Fox to have a core of people who knew what I do and I knew they were professional and could, you know, right away, get up a newscast up and running, which we did. And I don't know what Mr. Carlson will do. What I do know is there will be looking, no matter where he is, people will look and see what he's doing. So join us now
Starting point is 00:19:43 is Gary Franchi from Chicago, who is the lead anchor on Next News Network. First of all, I'm going to give you a big plug at the top. Tell me what Next News Network is. Well, we're an independent online news channel on YouTube that combats the false narratives that are constantly being pebbled by the mainstream media, by the leftist media, and, of course, those in the Halls of Power in Washington, D.C., and we have a lot of fun doing it. Okay, so you're YouTube-based, and you're a for-profit organization, correct? That's correct. And how long have you guys been in motion?
Starting point is 00:20:27 We've had this channel on YouTube for about 10 years now. Wow. Yeah. So you've seen significant changes in a shift away from the traditional television news outlets into the alternatives, correct? Oh, there's no question. There's been a massive shift, especially following the 2016 election. Our channel received 70 million views in just one month towards the end of the election. And it represented, see, a lot of the mainstream networks were still focused on basic broadcast and cable content, where we were simply focused and always had been focused on online content. So the shift we clearly saw as the algorithm back then was wide open, People were flocking into the online spaces like YouTube to secure information and news so they could become aware of what's happening in the country and also get narratives that they weren't getting from the mainstream sources. So we saw a dramatic shift in 2016.
Starting point is 00:21:30 And that has just accelerated up to 2023 or not? Has it leveled out? Well, after 2016, there was a dramatic shift in the algorithm. We saw the leftist media. We saw Donald Trump even come out and start using the term fake news that Hillary and Obama had started to use. You know, Trump came on co-opted that term. There was a significant algorithmic shift. There was a panic that set in because we came in through the back door. We were there.
Starting point is 00:22:00 We were presenting information. And it caused all of the individuals in the media to try to find a way to point fingers. How did this happen? Everyone's looking to point fingers except for Hillary Clinton looking at the mirror. So they shifted the algorithm so that the YouTube videos, if you were to search for Donald Trump or conservative news, it would only surface what they then deemed authoritative content. So now the algorithm has been manipulated so that the narratives can be controlled by the corporate masters, if you will, who are in those same newsrooms. you were talking about who would control you. But how can YouTube allow censorship, which is basically what you're saying?
Starting point is 00:22:46 How can they allow? Well, it's their corporate platform. You know, when you have people like Adam Schiff who are sending letters to YouTube and Facebook saying there's content on your platform that's dangerous and harmful, then all of a sudden, despite the fact that they have 230 protections, YouTube and Facebook and all these platforms, they freak out, they go, okay, we don't want to be dragged before Congress, so they go ahead and they shift their algorithmic reach. And also, I do believe that they're, I mean, the Silicon Valley we're talking about here. You know, this is the, you know, there's so many leftists in that
Starting point is 00:23:21 in Silicon Valley in the software world that they are happy to control the narrative, especially if you look at what Project Veritas, when they broke that story and they had a Google executive who had came out and they, you know, got a got a, got a. a little tipsy and he says we can't afford another Trump situation. Yeah, I understand his ideology, but your operation hasn't been censored by YouTube. Mine hasn't. I mean, we send clips to YouTube and they don't, they just put them up and, you know, we're responsible here.
Starting point is 00:23:52 We're not doing crazy stuff here. Well, we've had during the pandemic and, of course, the post-election, we had many videos that were removed from YouTube. We had videos that reached 10, oh yeah, we had one video that had 10 million views. I was pushing back against Dr. Fauci and the medical narrative that was being pushed by the World Health Organization. That is, you investigate why they removed that? I mean, I understand a public health component. They say, this is propaganda, whatever.
Starting point is 00:24:20 Let me rephrase a question. Right now, as it stands, because we've had a lot of exposure on the FBI going up to Twitter, all of that. Right now, are you under any censorship guidelines? We have a terms of service at YouTube that we have to strictly abide by. And what is, give me an example of that? Well, there's certain things you just cannot speak about on YouTube. You can't talk about, you know, the effectiveness of a certain medication that has, you know, been mandated by the federal government. You can't question the results of certain elections.
Starting point is 00:25:00 And those are two off-limits topics. topics. Okay. So they still are, again, that's not our experience, but we don't get into that very much. I mean, we're pretty straight in our reporting. And then my commentary is based on fact base. We've never had a problem at all. Let me ask you about Carlson now. So Joe Rogan has made millions of dollars doing his podcast, right? Rogan. Oh, yeah. You're familiar with him. Okay. Absolutely. And he's not. censored he's out there and he does his podcast and people find his podcast right and then to be clear he he did he was on youtube for quite some time and then he signed a contract with
Starting point is 00:25:45 Spotify because he felt that the censors at YouTube were too constricting okay and you want to now he's on Spotify and people find him and his and his podcast and they watch he advertises he monetizes it is that what Carlson's going to do the Rogan model well it's kind of I'm curious that what we've seen last from Carlson, his last video, 130 million views on Twitter. The fact that he decided to make Twitter his home base, I find kind of curious because Twitter is not really known for presenting itself as a video show platform. That's true. But he has a relationship with Musk, and you've got to figure that they have a template that they're going to run out for Twitter. You've got to figure then, right?
Starting point is 00:26:31 Oh, exactly. So this could be a groundbreaking beginning for a new birth of media presentation and distribution on Twitter that we haven't seen before where an actual show presents itself exclusively on that platform. Very, very groundbreaking. Okay. I think that's what's going to happen. But no matter what happens, the information flow is going away from the traditional people, and it's their own fault, into, you and me and Carlson or Logan, whoever it may be. Hey, Gary, we appreciate it. Keep us. If you get censored, Gary, by the way, let us know about it. That's an interesting story. Okay. We were just demonetized in February, so we've lost all of our YouTube revenue. Well, that's not good. You got another home you're gunning for? Well, we're going to keep on keeping on here, Bill. All right. I wish you the best, Gary. Thanks for coming on.
Starting point is 00:27:31 the headlines. I'm Miranda Devine, New York Post columnist and the host of the brand new podcast, Podforce One. Every week I'll sit down for candid conversations with Washington's most powerful disruptors, lawmakers, newsmakers and even the president of the United States. These are the leaders shaping the future of America and the world. Listen to Podforce One with me, Miranda divine every week on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or wherever you get your podcast. You don't want to miss an episode. Okay, so back to the federal government, the Secretary of State, Anthony Blinken, wrote a memo about Afghanistan and the debacle there. All right? So now the House Foreign Affairs Committee wants to see the memo. The chair is Michael McCall, who's a Republican from Texas.
Starting point is 00:28:27 So, Blinken has until Thursday to comply with the subpoena to hand the met him all over. If he does not, they're going to charge Blinken with contempt of Congress. So I'm following this story. I bet you'd never heard of it, did you? I bet you never heard that story. That's a big story. And we're following it. Ron DeSantis is banning diversity, equity, and inclusion programs at Florida public universities.
Starting point is 00:29:02 It's SB 266, just signed it. So it's basically, look, if you're going to impose woke classes or acceptance to the university based on diversity, equity, and inclusion, you're not going to get any state money. So DeSantis continues to be a culture warrior. Very interesting. Smart life. So I always encourage you to watch and listen to the no-spin news with a pen and paper. And here we go with something you might want to know about.
Starting point is 00:29:35 So there is a website, inbox dollars, inbox one word dollars. You know, you know how to do this, inbox dollars.com. So they'll pay you to answer service. surveys and advertising questions and all of that. So if you go to inbox dollars.com, you get $5 just for signing up. And then they send you stuff that you fill out. And they do this because advertisers want feedback from the American people through social media. So you can get about 250 bucks a year if you do it on a regular basis, and they'll send you money.
Starting point is 00:30:15 You tell them where your bank account is and they wire it right. is and they wire it right in there. So I'm looking at this thing and I'm going, it's a pretty good deal. If you have the time, now you're not going to get rich, but $250 is, you're not going to set that on fire, right? And if you have some time, some leisure time, might be fun, you know, giving your opinion, whatever. Again, inbox dollars.com, part of our smart life presentation.
Starting point is 00:30:42 You say in history May 16th, 1918, the Sedition Act, act of 1918 was passed. Okay. World War won, brutal. My grandfather fought in the Muse Argonne battle. Look it up. It was the most horrendous battle the U.S. military has ever been engaged in. Worse than Iwo Jima, if you can imagine that. Okay. So we entered the war in 1917 when it was a stalemate and the United States got in and then defeated Germany and their allies. And World War I came to a conclusion quickly after the U.S. got in. But the federal government passed a law, the Sedition Act, that forbade disloyal, profane, scurrilous, or abusive language about the USA, its flag, or armed forces, or anything that caused other
Starting point is 00:31:39 to view the American government with contempt. That means if you criticize the war, you criticize the country, you didn't like the flag, they'd throw you in jail. They could, and they threw a guy named Eugene Debs in jail. Now, Debs was a famous socialist, very anti-capitalism, anti-United States. He criticized World War I. They threw him in jail for 10 years. He got 10 years.
Starting point is 00:32:05 He only served three because the war ended in Woodrow Wilson, the president, time pardoned him. But Debs got sent up for three on this. Now, once World War I ended, the Congress said, we don't need the Sedition Act gone. But you can imagine if that sedition act was in, the Vietnam War protests, they would have had prisons overflowing. So we don't need any of that, okay? We don't need sedition acts in this country. All right, we got mail and we got a final thought about families so we all have them now i'm going to weigh in on them we'll be back in a moment let's go to the mail on a message board daniel writes obama's third administration is now underway through frontman joe biden none of this biden's stuff is incompetence
Starting point is 00:33:02 his goal is to tear down the USA as a majority of Americans know it and replace it with American Marxism. Pretty strong, Daniel. Now, you are entitled to hold that opinion that Biden is a Marxist, but you'd never be able to prove it, just so you know. But you're entitled to it. Paul. President Obama's job was a fundamentally transformed.
Starting point is 00:33:32 the country in his two terms. Now that he is in his third term, as Biden's puppeteer is even more aggressive in pulling the levers behind the destructive policy. So, Paul, I wish you could prove it, but you know you can't. But if you could, and you could send it to me the documentation that Barack Obama is the puppeteer, that I could see evidence, a whistleblower, or a document, anything. Again, your title you believe, but hard evidence not there. M.G. Bill, I disagree with you. Biden's not guilty of cowardice. He's guilty of treason. This is not incompetence, lack of caring or cowardice. This is a deliberate act put upon him by the
Starting point is 00:34:22 hard left to flood the nation with foreign nationals who will eventually vote Democratic. I'm not going to disagree with that. I think that is why the progressive left favors this. Tom Campbell, Amarillo, Texas. Obviously, we know what today's problem is at the border. Looking a decade ahead, if we're able to elect a president and a legislator will stop the uncontrolled flow of illegal immigration, what will we do about all those who have entered illegally?
Starting point is 00:34:56 What an excellent question, Tom. U.S. government is not going to do anything about them. They're here. They're staying. They will not be expelled unless they commit a crime. There will be a new immigration law. And under that law, people who are here are going to be given amnesty. That's the only way the Democrats will sign on to it. So it's not going to be mass deportations if Trump is reelected and Congress goes Republican.
Starting point is 00:35:24 That won't happen. Cecile Carr, Portage, Indiana, is the vice president's calendar published as is the president's. I don't know. That's a good question, Cecile. I'm going to have my producer look into see if Kamala Harris publishes the schedule every day. I'd be very interested to see what you're doing every day. Thank you. We will look into that.
Starting point is 00:35:49 Tanya, concierge member, Bill, I just came back from Istanbul in Athens over the weekend. wow it's a nice weekend trip i'm sure you were there longer i asked you a question through the concierge membership a few months ago and you were kind enough to advise me on the trip both cities are crowded and i absolutely agree greek islands are much more picturesque than turkish i was following your broadcast and it's been news on my trip thanks for keeping me informed well tanya i'm really happy had a good time and we went over that last night that a lot of concierge members can ask me any questions about where they're traveling and I will save you a pile of dough because I've probably been there, okay?
Starting point is 00:36:30 Been to every state in the union, every major city, and 85 countries around the world. So I'm glad you had a good time. Concierge membership pays off, makes your life better. John Broderick, Kirtelene, Idaho, beautiful place. I just finished killing the mob and very happy that those things can never happen again. I don't know about that. The Mexican cartels are worse than the mafia ever, and they're operating with impunity inside the United States
Starting point is 00:37:03 because of the Biden administration. Killing mob, though, we did get them. But now there's a new crew of criminals. All right, Father's Day. Come on, Dad, June 11th, right? Dad, Granddad. And I told you this yesterday. But I put together this package, we cannot do better than this.
Starting point is 00:37:25 So throw it on up on the screen and on the radio. If you buy a premium membership to Bill O'Reilly.com, that means dad gets access to us for a year. You get red team normal baseball hat, which is unbelievably sharp. Coffee mug made in the USA and a bumper sticker, Team Normal, all for 89.95.
Starting point is 00:37:49 Come on. I mean, come on. I mean, come on. A tie costs more than $100. So this is a great deal. Come back to me. So here is the team normal mug. I use this every day, every day. And so do the urchins.
Starting point is 00:38:06 Okay? So made in America, I mean, the best mug ever, except for the stand up for your country mug. They're all made by the same people. And then if your father or grandfather, likes to read, we got killing the legends and killing the mob aforementioned together for 18 bucks. Not each, for both. Okay? And then we have killing crazy horse in the United States of Trump together. All right. There's Crazy Horse and Trump. 18 bucks, two books. And so if that
Starting point is 00:38:42 likes to read, there you go. Word of the day, no, temerity, T-E-M-E-R-I-T-Y-T-Y-T-E-R-I-T-M-E-R-T-M-E. We don't want that when you're right to me bill at bill o'reilly.com bill at bill o'reilly dot com name and town lots of you are forgetting the name in town i can't use it unless i know you're a real person you can't have these flood zone come a i coming in here all right final thought about family discord in a moment right back okay here is a final thought of the day so i don't know of one family and i know thousands of people you know and my job I get to meet people, all walks of life, Americans, British, French, you name it. I know thousands of people.
Starting point is 00:39:29 There's always discord in family, always. It's not like Leave It to Beaver. Remember Leave It to Beaver, the Cleavers, okay? It's not like Father Knows Best, it's not like, you know, as a sitcom world progressed, then they got a little tense, but there's always discord. So how do you handle that? So I'm the patriarch of my family, okay, I'm in charge. And I encourage dissent. I want people to tell me if they disagree with me
Starting point is 00:40:01 because I think that's very healthy. And it advances intellectual prowess because then I can explain what my point of view is. I can listen to the dissenting point of view and I'm tough. I mean, if I see an argument that's weak not based on reality, I'll say it, but I won't say it in a harsh way or an accusatory way. I'll say, you consider this, or I'll cite something that happened.
Starting point is 00:40:30 So we're having a debate, and my family is traditional primarily, but there are liberals under the O'Reilly banner, and there aren't any arch conservatives, but there are people that are more conservative than I am. But I like that. And I find that even if a family member gets emotional and upset, and they do, and you know it, if you disagree with that, even if that happens, you don't apologize, you just say, hey, that's what America's all about, an exchange of ideas. You don't have to agree with me. There's no cover charge if you disagree with me. I just want you to consider my point of view as I consider yours. That's all. Be the rational voice. Be the rational voice. Most of the time that will work, not all the time. Some people are so
Starting point is 00:41:30 crazed now. And I call them loons. And they come in two varieties, far left loons and far right loons. And they don't want to hear it. They don't want to live in a bubble, a bubble wrap. They don't want to hear it. Nothing you can do. So I don't even bother. I just, if they say something crazy, I just go, really? I didn't know that, you know, or make something like that. Some people you're not going to get through to. Doesn't mean you've got to be mean to them, though.
Starting point is 00:42:02 Just kind of even it out. But most people you can and always encourage robust debate and discussion. It is healthy. It develops the mind. It makes the argument stronger. And if you have a weak argument, or if you're saying something fallacious, you know, be persuadable. Don't be rigid. That's the final thought of the day.
Starting point is 00:42:28 I hope it helps you out. Family is the most important thing. If you can, keep it together. Thank you for watching and listening to the No Spin News. We'll see you again tomorrow.
