Stand up for your country. Well, we are glad you are here today. So much foolish reporting and analysis going on. It just blows my head off. I'm just, ugh. But we are. going to tell you the truth and back it up complicated paper pen okay because i can't be answering every question i get thousands of letters now you premium and concierge members get a transcript
Starting point is 00:01:42 the whole show every day there's a lot of stuff here that you need to know so uh mid-afternoon iran fired some ordnance at u.s bases in the middle east everybody knew that was going to happen Mullers have to save face. They're really on the edge right now. If the army turns against them, they're done. Persians would like them out of there anyway. Economy's terrible. But I'm not real concerned about their military capacity.
Starting point is 00:02:15 Iran right now, I could be wrong, and if I am, I will correct myself immediately. But right now, there's a few missiles being lobbed over. Pentagon was prepared for it. All right, the talking points memo is to run down the facts and correct the record on what happened Saturday night. And I've got a very interesting story to tell you at the end of this program about where I was and what happened. We also have Bernie Goldberg going to do a little analysis for us tonight as well. Okay. So the Iran bombing happened because Donald Trump ran out of patience.
Starting point is 00:02:58 He's a transactional president. He gave the mullahs more than enough time to make a deal. They obviously were given Trump the middle finger. Trump doesn't like that. What confused me a little bit was that he went from the White House to Bedminster, New Jersey, on Friday. When he did that, I went, okay, there's not going to be anything over the weekend. Why would you do that? Go up to Jersey.
Starting point is 00:03:22 And then he turned right around. I went back to D.C. And I went, ooh, something happened. there and I don't know what it is. I will find out, but I don't know now. You got some intel or Israel said something, but I don't know. I'm not going to speculate. I'm not going to guess we do not do that here. So the history of this is that Donald Trump pulled out of the Iranian nuclear deal, which was engineered by Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton. That deal came together in 2015.
Starting point is 00:04:00 Okay, so Obama signed it. The deal was essentially a bribe, $1.7 billion to the mullahs in cash. Those were frozen assets, and $400 million came on a plane in the middle of the night in suitcases. So what does that tell you? And in return, the muller said,
Starting point is 00:04:20 okay, we're not going to try to get a nuclear weapon. All right. Now, when Trump took over, in 17, he charted, and I wrote a book, killing the killers, which you should read, all of Iran's cheating. And then he blew up Soleimani, the head of the Revolutionary Guard. You know that.
Starting point is 00:04:45 But he got fed up, and in 18, May 8, 2018, he pulled out, and I'm going to read you the Trump statement a little later on, pulled out of the nuke deal. Britain, France, and Germany stayed in. Almost immediately, the mullahs said, all right, now we're going to do what we want because nobody can stop us. Britain, France, and Germany couldn't stop them.
Starting point is 00:05:13 The United States could. And then the acceleration of the uranium began in earnest. It went from 3.6% under the Obama deal, that was it, to 60% or more. more, according to the United Nations weapons inspectors, who were then barred from going in. Okay. So when Trump got reelected, he came in, he said to the malles, you got to work this out, we'll have another deal.
Starting point is 00:05:40 But this deal will be fair. And from January until Saturday, that's what the Trump administration tried to do. And Amalas got, clear they were not going to make a deal. deal. That is the genesis of this. Okay. In the meantime, the Mullahs financed Hamas. In October 7th, 2004, a mosque came over and slaughtered the Jews. Hezvullah, hoodies, all Iranian money in arms, like this. That had raised Donald Trump. And it wouldn't stop. So, you got nuke enrichment, you got terrorism, you got the Mullahs giving the President of the United States the middle finger. What do you think is going to happen?
Starting point is 00:06:36 Now, if Kamala Harris had been elected and her own people say this, she would have done nothing because Biden didn't do a thing. Not a thing. They're weak. Trump's not weak. Was it the right thing to do? Absolutely yes. Will it work out? the way that we hope, no one knows.
Starting point is 00:07:01 Okay. Now, you heard immediately from the left that Trump needs to be impeached, that he needs this, the War Powers Act, just give you some facts. 1998, President Clinton bombs Afghanistan trying to get the Taliban and al-Qaeda because they blew up American embassies in Kenya and Tanzania. In 1999, President Clinton bombs Kosovo. Okay? Didn't have to.
Starting point is 00:07:31 No national security for us just bombs them because they were slaughtering people. The Kosovoans were slaughtering people. That's two. Okay? Then President Obama bombs Libya. All right? In 2011, leading to Gaddafi's overthrow and death. Hillary Clinton was the cheerleader.
Starting point is 00:07:53 Democrats said not one word on any of those. Not one word. Keep that in mind. All right. Now they're screaming War Powers Act. War Powers is War Powers Act. I'm going to quote from the War Powers Act. Officially known as the War Powers Resolution sets a limit of 60 to 90 days from military deployments initiated by the president
Starting point is 00:08:20 without a formal declaration of war or explicit congressional authorization. So Trump didn't violate anything. He's got 60 to 90 days to expedite this. There it is. Oh, no. Oh, we have to bring them up and impeach him. Two morons.
Starting point is 00:08:41 I'll get to that in a moment. Ocasio Cortez and this guy, Kastin. Oh, my God. The worst is Schumer. Charles Schumer, the Senate Minor. party leader. What a hypocrite. Okay. Here's what he said. Quote, we must enforce the War Powers Act. I'm urging Leader Thune to put it on the Senate floor immediately. I am voting for it and implore all senators on both sides of the aisle to vote for it. Chuck Schumer. Okay. Now, you got the window
Starting point is 00:09:08 there. Schumer doesn't care. He wants to embarrass Trump. Here's what Schumer said. Okay. In the run-up to Obama bombing Libya. I think the president's handling it very well, not taking a military option off the table, but being careful. And then after the bombs dropped, Schumer didn't say anything. The boarded it. What a blanking hypocrite? My God! Okay.
Starting point is 00:09:43 Now, the Senate, the House Ethics Committee have got to call Congressman Sean Kasten and Congresswoman Alexander Ocasio-Cortez, while our military people were in the air, they called for the impeachment of the Commander-in-Chief. Okay, they got to go up before the Ethics Committee. And I'm going to make sure that happens. So tomorrow, we're going to tell you who the chairman of the Ethics Committee is. We're going to call them. Try to get them on, but we're going to, You cannot, when you have military people actively involved. Right now, at the Home Depot, you'll find storage solutions made to fit your needs. Grab an HDX tough tilt to protect your tools.
Starting point is 00:10:35 Or keep your sports equipment contained with reinforced snapfit lids. Or stack up and make better use of your space with bins and totes built to last. Whatever your story, we've got the gear to keep it organized and protected. At the Home Depot, how doers get more done. Amazon Pharmacy presents painful thoughts. 20 more minutes to kill in the pharmacy before my prescription is ready. Maybe I'll grab some deeply discounted out-of-season Halloween candy. Hmm, I never had a chocolate pumpkin with raisins before.
Starting point is 00:11:14 Those were raisins, right? Next time, use Amazon Pharmacy. We deliver. And no, those were not raisins. Amazon Pharmacy. Health care just got less painful. Inaction, and you're undermining the commander-in-chief in real-time, putting those people in more danger.
Starting point is 00:11:36 Yeah, you could use the word treason. You never get a conviction on that. But I don't think that's an unreasonable word, but he's too. And they're both nuts. And I mean that literally. they are as far left as you could possibly be sympathizing with the devil. They're wrong. All right, so within hours of the bombing, the Mullins, as I said, they've lost all face,
Starting point is 00:12:05 trying to desperately hang on, we're going to close the Straits of Hormuz, we're going to do this, we're going to do that. Now, there has been a reaction abroad, but I'm going to save that to the YouTube channel because I want to get into it in a more precise way. And I got so much to cover here on breaking news. So if you go to our YouTube channel, I hope you sign up, it's free. It's just an appendage of the no-spin news. All right, there it is, YouTube.com slash Bill O'Reilly. We will do an in-depth analysis of China and Russia and Europe, all of that.
Starting point is 00:12:41 And that will be posted early this evening. Okay, so please sign up for that. Anyway, I get tons of letters, what's going to happen, what's going to happen, what's going to happen? I don't know what's going to happen. And anybody who goes on these cable shows, these idiot shows, and says that they're irresponsible. But I know that President Trump isn't going to back down, though it's in motion. If I were the Muellers, I would sign a deal as quickly as possible. save your butt because he's not going to back away. Okay? And that's the memo.
Starting point is 00:13:27 All right, predictably, we went over with Casson and Ocasio-Cortez. They're the fringe, fringe left. But the Democratic Party now is getting into real dicey territory. So a guy named Jeff Merckley, he's a senator from Oregon. He goes on CNN and says this. Go. But the reason that that enrichment occurred is because President Trump, in his first administration, pulled us out of the diplomatic deal with Iran in which they had a huge amount of inspections and every path to a nuclear weapon had been blocked through diplomacy, not through war. So it's unfortunate that Trump's decision in his first administration set the scene now for this challenge. And that's the mantra now, the Democratic Party, that Obama.
Starting point is 00:14:16 Obama was brilliant, it was a brilliant deal, Iran was constrained, and Trump just blew it all up, so it's Trump's fault. You heard that from Carville last week on News Nation. I'll be on News Nation at 9 o'clock tonight, but I told Carvel he was full of, you know what, which he is, because he just spouts the propaganda, which this guy did. But I want to go on a record with Trump, he issued a statement when he pulled out of the Obama deal. Here's a statement said, quote, in the year since the deal was reached, Iran's military budget has grown by almost 40 percent. True. After the sanctions were lifted, the dictatorship used its new funds to build nuclear-capable missiles, support terrorism, cause havoc. True. The agreement was so poorly negotiated that even if Iran fully complies, the regime can still
Starting point is 00:15:04 be on the verge of a nuclear breakout in a short period of time. Not speculation, but that's what Trump believed. Okay, that's why he pulled out in his first term. So you can decide whether that was a wise move or not, but to say that everything would be swell with Iran, if Trump had not pulled out of the deal, is absurd. Did you miss October 7th there, pal? Merckley, did you miss that? Ooh. All right.
Starting point is 00:15:33 Who dissented on the Republican side? Here they are. As usual, Congress from Massey, Kentucky, Congresswoman Marjorie-Teller Green, Senator Rand Paul, Steve Bannon and Tucker Carlson. They're the biggest names on the Republican side who are dissenting. We have Eric Bowling tomorrow night. He is dissenting somewhat. Has to come up against me.
Starting point is 00:16:02 So don't miss that. Europe, you know, Europe is, you know, I'm going to get into this on YouTube. But the only guy that really stood up is Stramer, the PM of Great Britain, and he said, yeah, you know, we know it had to be done, but the rest of them Germany wasn't as weasley as, but Macron was really a weasel. So we'll get into all of that. Stock market is shaky. You know, it goes an hour, an hour. Can I tell you? That's why he told you two weeks ago, was it? You got spec stocks? Sell them. I did. I shouldn't give you financial advice, so let me rephrase it. I sold my spec stocks. It's too risky in this day and
Starting point is 00:16:53 age. Dividend, big companies, long-time holdings, fine. Speculation, no. Looking out for you. Here's a story that was gone almost totally unreported. Pakistan is nominating President Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize. Why? Because you remember in May, Indian, Pakistan, almost at war. Because it was a terror attack in Kashmir, and the death toll was 46. Okay? And they were shooting each other, and all of that. It's the ethnic war. Trump stepped in and calmed it down. Do you know that? Did you hear this reported that Pakistan's nominating him, the Nobel Peace Prize? I didn't.
Starting point is 00:17:51 My astute producer picked it up. Bill O'Reilly here, I recently sat down with President Trump in Florida, and I can tell you he is laser-focused on helping Americans prosper during his second term. That's why I have joined forces with Alexander Green, chief investment strategist at the Oxford Club, for a special presentation called The Rebirth of the American Dream. In this groundbreaking event, you will discover why Donald Trump's policies could trigger an economic boom, how the AI revolution could help create more millionaires than at any other time in history,
Starting point is 00:18:27 details on six specific stocks that could soar during Trump's presidency, and most importantly, how you can achieve the American dream. Now, I followed Alex's work from more than 20 years, and he spotted some of the best-performing stocks of our time. So please don't miss this opportunity. Visit Trump's American Dream.com. Trump's American Dream.com. Join us now from North Carolina is the purveyor of bernard Goldberg.com, and I check that out, and I am very busy. So bernardgoldberg.com.
Starting point is 00:19:06 I check in. So you say you support the action, but you're not a big Trump fan, so explain that to me. It's not that I'm not a big Trump fan. My basis, I'm an opinion journalist now, but like you, I was a hard news journalist for a long time. So I come to my conclusions based on facts. So sometimes I agree with Donald Trump, sometimes I don't. In this case, I'm totally with President Trump. He did the right thing.
Starting point is 00:19:38 Iran was never going to voluntarily give up their nuclear program. For decades, they strung one president after another. They strung them along. And they pretended that diplomacy was going to lead to Iran, the Mullahs, giving up their nuclear dreams and passions. They made one big mistake bill. They assumed Donald Trump was like all the other presidents, they were dealing with.
Starting point is 00:20:08 Donald Trump was different from all the others, and he showed them how different he was on Saturday night. I'm totally with him on this. So it doesn't have anything to do with Israel and you're Jewish, right? No, it's, I'll tell you what it has to do. No, it doesn't. But I'll tell you what it does have to do it. It has to do with risks being weighed against other risks.
Starting point is 00:20:34 So is there a risk that Iran will do something stupid? Is there a risk that they may widen and escalate the war? Yeah, there's a risk, of course. Like you correctly said, if anybody tells you what's coming next, don't listen to them. They don't know what they're talking about. Right. But against that risk, Bill, you have to weigh the risk of a country run by zealot Islamist clerics. having a nuclear weapon
Starting point is 00:21:07 and they're haters and they're haters and killers and I'm not taking the risk of them having a weapon like that they knew about October 7th they knew that Hamas was going to go over and slaughter those people in the kibbutz
Starting point is 00:21:23 Iran knew and that was really I think would put Trump over the line yeah the nuke thing obviously so you can't allow a rogue regime that is on the record is we're going to kill every Jew we can and we're going to kill Americans too to have a bomb that they might be able to disassemble and give to a terrorist and set it off someplace.
Starting point is 00:21:49 Now, you and I are a sympathetico, and I think we've made a very logical case so far. We're 19 minutes into this broadcast. But then you have the isolationists in the Republican Party. Hi, I'm Trisha, your friend and jeweler at Shane Company, where we're all about you, your style, your budget, your dream engagement ring. Are you looking for a style that's classic, modern, vintage, or something in between? Not sure? At Shane Company, we're here to help. Starting point is 00:22:29 Shane Company, your friend and jeweler. Ray-band meta-glasses are powered by Meta-I, so you can get real-time answers. Hey, Meta, how bougie is Jade Garden? It's a trendy spot. What's a color that pairs with this top? Consider dark, earthy colors, charcoal or black. What are some good first-date topics? Consider discussing favorite travel destinations or your favorite books.
Starting point is 00:22:53 Get suggestions, inspiration, and answers from your glasses. Ray-Ban Meta-Glasses, iconic style meets Meta-I. who they don't care whether Iran has a nuclear weapon or not. That's kind of strange, don't you think? I think it's immoral. I think it's immoral. I find it interesting that the isolationist wing of the Republican Party sounds a lot like the progressive wing of the Democratic Party.
Starting point is 00:23:23 But beyond that, how is it moral to say, well, we don't really, they won't put it in these words. I want to be fair to them. They won't say we don't care that they have a nuclear weapon. As a matter of fact, they'll say we don't want them to have a nuclear weapon. But if you're going to be an isolationist, then what you're really saying, what it really comes down to is if they use it against Israel and kills 10 million Jews, Hitler only got 6 million, not our problem.
Starting point is 00:23:56 America first, not our problem. But it is our problem. look, that's just such a sophomoric point of view just on its face don't take the Israeli Jew thing out. So if you have a nuclear weapon that goes
Starting point is 00:24:13 off on this planet anywhere you set civilization back 10 years. Everybody is affected. Everybody So this gets back to my point about risk versus risk. They only talk about the
Starting point is 00:24:29 risk of a wider war. Fair enough. That is a concern. But they don't talk about the risk that you just talked about and that I talked about in the column that's on my website. They don't talk about the risk of Ayatollah Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khomeini having a nuclear weapon. How could you not, you have to stop that. You have to stop that. And that's what Donald Trump did. And I'll criticize him when. I think he does something that's not in his or our best interest, but I'm going to praise him when he does the right thing. And this time, he did the right thing. I'm trying to get inside of mind, and I will do this with Bowling tomorrow. Eric Bowling will be on, as I mentioned, of these isolationists because they're not dumb people. Or Aunt Paul is not a dumb person. Neither is Tucker Carlson or Steve Bennett. They're not. But I think it's a stubbornness now that's set in.
Starting point is 00:25:33 And they get an awful lot of attention doing this as well. I think there's an attention factor here. Well, I understand their concern. It's not just words. It's a philosophy. And the philosophy is we don't want to get involved in other people's problems, other people's problems, as if the United States is a bystander in all of this. and Iraq is weighing on all of this too.
Starting point is 00:26:03 You know, we tried to change the landscape of the Mideast once, and I don't think that turned out too well. No, but it's a different situation than Iraq. But that's hanging over this whole discussion. Yeah, but they're using that to make a false equivalency. I mean, it's like the Panama invasion compared to World War II. too. You know, Iraq. And you know why? It's in a comparison. I'll tell you why. And you know why. Because we're dealing with a nuclear bomb right now. Right. It's so much more intense. And the Iraq
Starting point is 00:26:40 situation was a miscalculation. I mean, those people say, oh, the government lied to us about they knew that Saddam didn't have that. That is so much garbage. Saddam told his generals, all right, that he had the weapons because he wanted to intimidate those generals. And that's what the New York Times reported. And that's why it got out of control. Now, final question for you. When we're looking at the landscape here, I picked out a few people. And I don't like to do this.
Starting point is 00:27:15 In my younger days, I did it more. But now I'm watching people attack other people personally for money. and this is what they do on social media. They attack people personally, they get more eyeballs, and they can sell ads. It's about money. That's why they're doing it. I think when I single out of Chuck Schumer, am I being too harsh on the senator? But when you said he's a blanking hypocrite, what word did you mean when you said blanking?
Starting point is 00:27:49 I don't want to shock you I don't want to shock your sensibilities Goldberg since you worked in a CBS newsroom for like 50 years you've heard the real word before here's the thing that gets me about Chuck Schumer he had a perfect score on his SATs before he went to Harvard he's a bright guy
Starting point is 00:28:14 what a wasted use of intellect to become a political hack. That's my take on Chuck Schumer. I sit there and, you know, does he think that guys like me are not going to trace him back to what he did when Obama dropped the bombs
Starting point is 00:28:32 on Libya and you have a totally different position? And then when you ask him about it, he'll never do an interview. He'll never ever answer those questions. Look, Ocasio-Cortez, I said this on Pierce
Starting point is 00:28:47 Morgan. I went on his show tonight. And I said, look, I don't want to be uncharitable to a fellow terrier. So I have a degree from Boston University as well. But she's simply not smart enough to hold the job as a congressperson. She's just not smart enough. You don't have to be that smart. No. But she's not smart even at your low bar.
Starting point is 00:29:11 Okay? She doesn't even reach your low bar. That's the frame of reference that that woman has. zero and I had to say it to put it in some kind of perspective like for me to pick on her would be you know like kicking a little cock or spaniel it's not fair schumer in no matter i know how much you dislike cliches and so do why i dislike them as much as you do but here's one Donald trump could find a cure for cancer and she'd be opposed to Donald Trump for finding a cure for cancer.
Starting point is 00:29:50 So I don't, let's not take her that seriously. No, I agree with that. And that's why I didn't, but the other guy from Illinois, but they both should be brought up in front of this. You don't object to that, right? Health Ethics Committee, while we have people in the field, you're doing us. I don't, I think, no matter what your political philosophy, you don't do something that jeopardizes American military forces while they're in the midst.
Starting point is 00:30:18 of an operation. You don't do that. You know, it's just almost impossible to believe that these people are that stupid that they would do it. They didn't think about it. They just want to run out there and pander their far left base. All right. The website is bernardgoburg.com. It's like bill o'Reilly.com, except my name is Irish and Goldberg is Jewish. It's just put the both names in and then you'll get two good websites. Appreciate it, Bernie. Thanks very much. Thanks, Bill. Smart life.
Starting point is 00:30:51 So I want you to be healthy. And we do a lot of this. And it's hard. It's hard. Because everything that tastes good is bad. It's as simple as that. New study. American Journal of Clinical Nutrition.
Starting point is 00:31:09 Big study. So they list some foods, some common foods that aren't horrendous. I can't do the kale. I'm sorry. tried to do the kale, can't do the kale. And here are the foods they say, if you want to be healthy, or, try this. All right, berries, blueberries, raspberries, citrus, oranges, and grapefruit, dark chocolate. Now, you don't eat a pound of it, but it's a cancer arresting agent or something.
Starting point is 00:31:42 Peaches and bananas. Now bananas, every time I turn around, it's no good. is good. I don't know. The monkeys look healthy to me and they like bananas. Peaches and bananas. Green and black tea. Yes. Yes. Leafy greens. We've heard that a million times, not eating the kale, but spinach. I'll go for the spinach. Red wine. Okay. I don't drink it, and then peas, onions, and tomatoes. I can't eat the onions, Irish stomach. Now, here's what I had for breakfast. And this I think I'm on the right track. So I had a low sugar cereal like rice checks.
Starting point is 00:32:23 Okay? You can't have more than 10 milligrams of sugar. You got to read a label. I get that going. I drink whole milk. The other stuff I can't, I just can't drink. But I'm not drinking a lot of it. So I'm putting the milk on the cereal.
Starting point is 00:32:40 Then I'm loading it with raspberries and blueberries. Loading it up. Okay? That's the primary. Then I take the sourdough bread. Get your mother-loving ears on because your big-time radio DJ's got news. PayPal lets you choose how you want to pay for all the stuff. With PayPal, I can pay in store, pay online, or pay overtime.

Learn more at PayPal.com. Now at Chipotle. Our all-new Chipotle honey chicken brings Chipotle heat with a touch of sweet.

All combined with fresh, tender chicken hot off the grill, served up in your favorite burrito or bowl. New Chipotle honey chicken takes heat and sweet to a whole new level, but it's only at Chipotle for a limited time. Order now in the app for pickup or delivery. Chipotle, for real. And I get four pieces of toast, not poultry, is cut them in half. And I put real butter on them. Okay, I can't just eat the toast dry.
Starting point is 00:34:03 And that's my breakfast with a, with a tropicana low sugar, orange juice. And it's good. Good job, Tropicana. And I have no ties of Tropicana. But if you compare the low sugar to the brinket, regular traffic ice crazy that's what I have for breakfast okay so I keep it under control then at dinner I'll have you know a meat dish and you know a salad something like that but if you eat junk all right if you go in to the fast foods more than twice a week
Starting point is 00:34:38 and if you're eating the sugar stuff your toes are going to fall off something's going to happen sit I hate to be Bobby Kennedy here but he's right on that one. This day in history, and that's an interesting story. So you remember Trump had a lot of trouble with the generals in his first term, okay? The generals are not easy guys to handle.
Starting point is 00:34:59 On June 23, 2010, Obama fired General McChrystal, who did a pretty good job in Afghanistan. We write about him in killing the killers and the raid on bin Laden. So it was okay. But McChrystal gave an interview
Starting point is 00:35:14 to Rolling Stone, ridiculous. Why would you do that? poor judgment, where he said that Obama was weak on national security and that McChrystal's crew wanted to kick the president's butt. Why would you do that? I mean, that's just stupid. So Obama fired him, and Petraeus took over. Petraeus is very good.
Starting point is 00:35:42 And McChrystal is 70 years old now. I just released a book. I'm not going to tell you the name of the book because I invited him on a program because he has a long history and I wanted to get a lot of military he's too afraid to come on he's afraid of me
Starting point is 00:35:57 I said look it's not a crushing thing it's more informational yeah I might ask him a few questions about Afghanistan stuff like that but what's your right? Too afraid come on general you didn't get to be a general by being afraid Yes. So this day in history, McChrystal got sacked. And we are going to do the final thought about where I was when the bombing started on Saturday night, right back.
Starting point is 00:36:27 Okay, let's do the final thought of the day as my voice cracks here. A lot of pollen in the air. It's like 98 degrees in New York City. Where I am on Eastern Long Island, it's about 25 degrees cooler, thank God. So I'm at a party in Bridge Hampton, Saturday night, about 50 people, most of them affluent. And then I get a ping on a dopey phone, which I got to carry everywhere. And since the bombing has commenced. So I turned on a giant TV in the living room of the house, which is rude, but I had to do it. And some people start to gather around. And I'm taking notes. And a woman walks up to me, goes, well, why are you taking notes?
Starting point is 00:37:21 You had no idea, of course. I go, well, I'm a journalist, and this is very important. So I'm going to have to report and analyze on it. And she goes, oh, what, you know, and I said, listen. And I try never to be rude to anybody in social situations. Obviously, why would I want to do that? He said, look, just ask the host of the party, and he'll explain everything. My assessment was that 50% of the people at the party cared about this, and 50% did not.
Starting point is 00:37:53 They live in a bubble. The bubble does not include information. They knew, after a while, that this bombing was underway, and I have to report that Jennifer Griffin, far in away the best Pentagon reporter in the country on Fox, way, way than any of the other networks. So I'm zeroing in on what Jen is saying, so I know it's reliable. But then after the initial round, and we're waiting for Trump to speak, you know, half of the people there couldn't have cared less because they don't live in a world that matters. They live in their own created world. And that's not unusual. I think maybe half the population is there, whether
Starting point is 00:38:42 it sports or fashion or entertainment or religion or whatever it may be, they're in this bubble and nothing in, nothing out. It was just absolutely fascinating to watch this thing unfold. And I was polite. I answered questions. Everybody go, well, what's going to happen? How do I know what's going to happen? And as I said earlier in a broadcast, if somebody says they know what's going to happen, turn it off. They don't know. Very hard to get solid information. We have the best here on the no-spin news and our other vehicles. We have the best information flow in a country by far. But I didn't know that bombing was going to happen.
Starting point is 00:39:25 I had no clue. I thought when Trump went from D.C. to Bedminster, New Jersey, his golf club on Friday, I said, okay, then the weekend's off. But then he went back. Something happened. I don't know yet. I'll find out, but I don't know yet why. that was such a quick turnaround.
Starting point is 00:39:44 Anyway, I thought you would find that interesting. The bubble people I called them. I'm going to do more reporting on the bubblers because there's so many of them and they're mounting and mounting and mounting because it's easy to live your life on this. Very easy. So thank you very much for watching
Starting point is 00:40:01 and listening on the radio to the NOSPIN News. News Nation, Tonight 9. Here's Morgan on his podcast, I guess. and we are going to have the best information for you this week. We'll see you tomorrow.
