Hey Bill O'Reilly here.
Welcome to the No Spin News tonight from Washington, where I am reporting.
I'm going to the Charlie Kirk Presidential Medal of Freedom Ceremony
after I finish taping this broadcast.
And then tomorrow Wednesday, 8 p.m. live Kennedy Center in D.C., the three Americans for a big town hall.
That should be interesting.
And whenever I come down to the nation's capital, I got a million things to do running around and all that.
But we're happy to be here.
And I am going to the ceremony as a report.
I am going to obviously watch and listen and all that. I will have that report for you
tomorrow on the no spin news. So tonight we're going to lead off with talking points on reaction
to President Trump's historic success by getting the Israelis and the Hamas people to stop
killing each other for at least a little while.
Hamas is killing their own now, of course.
It's never going to end.
I told you that yesterday.
It's no magic wand, but 20 human beings are free.
And I believe the bodies of the other hostages,
four have already been released.
I think the rest are coming.
But President Trump did a good job here.
And anybody who denies that is not being truthful.
However, the progressives are not going to change their view of Mr. Trump.
They are going to continue to hate him.
So how do they handle it?
That's what we're going to report on tonight.
And I'm going to run it down for you in a very methodical way.
But you need to know there's vengeance in the air.
Why?
Why would there be vengeance in the air against President Trump?
because he's making the Trump haters look bad.
He's tearing apart the progressive movement.
You heard nothing for Bernie Sanders,
nothing from Elizabeth Warren.
I don't think you heard from AOC either.
They don't know what to do.
They don't know what to do.
But I know what they will do.
And that is move on from this story
as fast as they possibly can.
and get in, back, right back into the Gestapo, ICE agents,
Comey is a victim, you know, right back in.
And that's going to happen with lightning speed.
It's already happening in some of the more hysterical, progressive precincts.
So I'm going to pick on this guy, John Legend, and I don't really want to because he's not
anyone of, I don't know.
He doesn't have any sway over any of us.
He's no power.
He's an entertainer.
He's a succinct.
John Legend.
He's in the news a lot.
He's a very, very ardent, progressive.
But his mindset accurately reflects the progressive movement in the United States.
So I'm going to use him the night as a demonstrator.
All right.
So you know about the Nobel Peace fries that the Norwegians didn't want to give it to Trump.
That's all it was.
Did Trump deserve it?
Yes, of course.
She deserved it.
But the Norwegians are very, very liberal.
And they didn't want to give it to them.
Maybe if Ukraine, if there's some deal made, they'll have to give it to him next year.
But they avoided it this year.
And they shouldn't have.
That's not honest.
But here's what John Legend said about that.
Go.
If Trump is able to actually earn the Peace Prize,
it probably won't be enough that he's helped bring peace to the Middle East.
Let's look at what else he would have to do.
He'd have to stop sending Black Hawk helicopters
to terrorize people while they sleep in their apartment buildings
in Chicago. Yes, the so-called peace president whose ending wars around the world would also have to
stop declaring war on the American people. Okay. So, no. So what are you going to do? Mr. Legend's entitled
to his opinion. I don't know why he does what he does. Certainly going to help his record sales.
He's an extremist.
I don't feel anybody's declared war on me or anybody I know.
All right, I know a lot of liberal people.
I don't see any war.
I don't see black hawk helicopters swooping down,
terrorizing people as they sleep in Chicago.
I don't see any of that.
Maybe I'm missing it.
Maybe I'm just not skilled enough
to absorb the information
that John Lennon and his cohorts
courts in the progressive movement have absorbed.
Okay?
I'm just not smart enough to get it.
But that, what he just said is what they believe.
Because people believe what they want to believe.
And you're never going to convince them ever in a million years.
Okay, now, part of this subterfuge here, excuse me,
is that legend doesn't like.
Israel. You know, I always like to know who I'm featuring on the No Spin News. So he doesn't
like Israel at all. Roll the take. No matter what political disagreements and political
animus and anger we have at Hamas and the leadership in Gaza, those kids are innocent.
Yes. And I don't believe in collective punishment. And I believe that their lives
are just as valuable, just as valuable as Israeli lives or any other lives.
And so I want foreign policy to be conducted with that in mind.
Okay, so according to Mr. Legend, if Hamas attacks our country,
United States, and kills 1,200 Americans,
and I hope Mr. Legend would be spared, okay, we can't go out.
after Hamas, in Gaza, we couldn't use U.S. military power to avenge or punish the terrorists
who killed the 1,200, just as they did in Israel, because innocent children might be killed.
And that's true. They might be killed. But you don't do anything? What do you do?
John Legend doesn't know.
The brutal truth is that Israel defeated Hamas and downgraded its leadership and created
a lot of problems for that terror organization.
But in the process, 50,000 civilians, that's my estimation, were killed in that war.

And whose fault is that?
Well, legend would blame Israel and the United States because we support Israel.
Now, he might blame Hamas, too, but he said, clearly, I don't believe in collective punishment.
Well, what are you going to do?
Then you just let them get away with it, and then they run back and hide behind their children,
and you don't take any action, because you don't believe in collective punishment.
It's just dumb.
And that is my big problem with the progressive movement.
It's stupid.
It has no solution to any problems.
These are pie in the sky.
People think that they're noble and that they have a higher moral ground than anybody else.
Boy, oh boy.
imagine if Kamala Harris, because she is a progressive, president, you think those guys
are hostages would have been released? Come on. Even Kamala's husband doesn't think so.
All right, President Biden finally weighed in. I was waiting and waiting and waiting.
And George W. Bush hasn't said anything. Bill Clinton did.
Bill Clinton issued a very strong statement in favor of Donald Trump's actions.
But Biden was late to the table because his crew had to get around.
They had to write it.
They had to debate it.
He had nothing to do with it.
And here's what he says, quote,
my administration worked relentlessly to bring hostages home to get released to
Palestinian civilians and end the war.
I commend President Trump.
his team for their work to get his renewed ceasefire deal over the finish line.
Now with the backing in the United States and the world, the Middle East is on a path
to peace. Maybe. I don't believe it's on a path to peace, but I believe the situation is a lot
better now than it was. Now, what about Biden's administration? They did try
somewhat, but failed, to get the hostage release.
I was involved in that.
And at the end, the very end of Biden's presidency in December of last year, 24, there was movement
and there were hostages released in January of 25.
The Biden administration was part of that, but the big part of it was Trump coming in.
And I'm not going to go through what my role was now, but I will down the road.
So I know what's going on here.
I didn't object to Biden's statement, by the way.
I object to Biden's presidency.
It's a disaster for the world and for this country.
But the statement was okay.
Finally, let's wrap this thing up.
It's not going to change.
The progressives hate Donald Trump.
The liberal media, which is about 80% of it, is not going to change its posture unless
something like CBS happens where company is sold. CBS was sold. New ownership. Disney, NBC,
CNN, they're going to stay the same essentially. And that's a memo. I was bringing a guy
who is monitoring the media. I didn't have a lot of time to do that last night.
because I'm unbelievably busy.
Tim Graham is the executive editor of Newsbuster.
He's a friend of this program.
And I want to let everybody know that,
that Tim has really helped us out.
So I got a sheet in front of me.
I want to talk about this Mary Bruce,
who is a Chief White House correspondent for ABC News.
I did not see this,
but apparently she was doing what
while reporting on the Gaza situation.
Well, she can't give credit to Trump.
Mary Bruce was well known to us for somebody when Joe Biden was president.
She was always just glorifying everything that he did.
Now they have to both sides everything.
You know, this, yesterday, most of the networks,
this was a day when you saw so much touching video of reunions,
of these hostage families,
and so obviously this is something Donald Trump caused.
So this was about the best press day Trump has had,
but somewhere in there, somebody's got to not let him get all the credit.
Sometimes they tried to balance it out and said,
now let's go to the Palestinians and they're happy reunions.
Well, but to some degree, there is a difference between the two sides, right?
is that most of these Israelis were captured at a concert or something.
A bunch of the Palestinians that were in prison were in prison for violent crime.
So I think you can't really balance those two out.
Okay, and you think that Ms. Bruce tried to do that?
Apparently, the anchor, Muir, had to interrupt her a couple of times and bring her back down to earth?
Yeah, and that's really interesting because, again, usually you don't correct your reporter.
you know and I think it's again I think a day like this is a day when you want to
stay positive you could you could sit here and say well we're not sure that this ceasefire
will hold you can be pessimistic about whether Hamas is going to actually disarm so but on a day
like this when people have come out after more than two years in a horrible hostage situation
whether we're tortured or starved or, you know, where kept in tunnels could, you know, hadn't seen the sunlight.
This is just a, it's a good news day.
It's a good news day.
So to try to rain on that parade, it's not the right day.
Okay.
But they didn't do it overtly.
Even Ms. Bruce, to be fair to her, said that Trump's role was critical in this and whatever.
Christiana Amunpur, CNN, had to apologize.
Now, we all know if you know this woman's history,
but around a long time.
She's very pro-Arab.
She's a Persian herself,
but she's very, I want to be fair here,
skeptical of Israel.
Let's put it that way.
So what does she apologize for?
Yeah, I'm trying to be fair, Tim, you know.
Well, you know, she grew up the first 11 years of her life in Tehran, and then they moved to England, and then later they came to the United States.
She's been at CNN for more than 40 years and has been a foreign correspondent for a large chunk of that before she came sort of this, the CNN host.
Yes, we have chronicled numerous times, and especially since October 7, 2023, where she's very, very,
solidly come down on the Palestinian side of things. And this was certainly true yesterday,
where she was so out of tune with the way the day was going, that she actually said that the
Israeli hostages were probably treated better than the average Ghazan. Again, tortured, starved,
many of them ended up dead. It was just astonishing. As I reported yesterday, CNN ordered their
talent, their air talent, not to bash Trump on this story. That was a direct order given by
Robert Thompson, who's in charge of CNN. So Amman Poor kind of got around that by not mentioning
Trump, but trying to make a comparison, as you just said, an equivalency between how the
Ghaz and civilians are treated with the heavy hand of Israel, of course, as opposed to how
the hostages who were kidnapped are treated.
But she did apologize, and that's because she wants a paycheck, right?
Yeah.
It's a little bit like if we can imagine, you remember, some of us remember,
1973, 74, when the Vietnamese, the American POWs came home from Vietnam,
and you imagine some anchorman saying,
well, I'm sure our American POWs were treated nicer than the average Vietnamese.
I don't think that would have been received well.
And that was really just a terrible and tone-deaf thing to say.
She was asked about just the situation on the ground that,
sadly, the Western journalists weren't given enough access
to go into Gaza and bash Israel,
like they didn't bash Israel when they didn't have perfect access.
Well, look, CNN has lost most of its audience and credibility
because of its stance, hating Trump and propping up the progressive movement.
There's no doubt that that has happened.
Let's look to the future.
So my analysis is this ceasefire between the media and Trump is going to be less than maybe 36 hours.
And then we'll be back to ISIS, the Gestapo, and the John Legend crew will then get back to what they do every day.
You disagree with that?
No, I think that their standard mode of operation is, yes, Trump is evil and anybody trying to, you know, enforce the immigration laws as evil.
It's very strange that law enforcement is like an evil force, but that is where they go.
Now, the only way they don't do that domestic stuff again is if some of these Israel, the ceasefire, doesn't go as well as we would hope.
And in that case, then they might say, well, for Trump, this is all coming apart.
I mean, we have seen, you know, over 10 years, this whole pattern of network news coverage of Trump is usually 89, 90, 91, 92% negative all the time.
It was negative coverage of Trump of the networks after he was shot.
So we can always predict that they're going to return to form and be negative about Trump.
I agree. I think that the public, though, knows what the game is now and doesn't have any
effect. Let's face it, the U.S. economy is under stress. National debt rising, trade war,
shaking the markets. And meanwhile, China is dumping the dollar and stockpiling gold. That's why

picked up but the majority of american voters they know what the game is and they've made their

The end of network and cable news.
It's just a matter of who survives the longest.
There's no growth anyplace.
Nobody growing and it's predictable.
It's dull and it's not fair.
One more question.
Trump did congratulate the media on a trip back to the United States and said,
you were fair and this and that.
I thought that was a pretty effective statement,
but I didn't see it much.
I didn't see it around a lot.
yeah i mean let's guess with the average people in their audience who they expect to be anti-trump
they don't want to show a clip of trump saying you were pro-trump today or you were fair to trump today
they don't want the media to be fair to trump they want the media to wage war on trump that's what
they expect and as you suggest that's one of the reasons why polls show that people don't see the
media as fair and balanced or as accurate because they can understand that these people have
a severe animus against the president. And it's going to get worse. There's going to be
vengeance now because the president is succeeding. And when you succeed, and I'm the poster
boy for this, they come at you as hard as they can come at you because they're so angry about
that success. Hey, Tim, thanks very much. You really appreciate it. And it'll be interesting to see
Charlie Kirk is the Presidential Medal of Freedom today with the media reaction is tonight.
And I will have that for you along with the reportage of the ceremony itself tomorrow.
Rasmussen poll knew about the deportations, the migrants.
Rasmussen is generally favorable to Donald Trump, one of the two or three points.
that are. Okay, first question. Do you approve or disprove the Trump administration's program to
find and deport immigrants who are in the U.S. illegally? Total approval, 53%. Wow. Total disapproval
43. That's interesting number. Second question. Federal judge recently ruled President Trump
could not deploy National Guard troops to defend
officers of the Immigration Customs Enforcement Agency known as ICE.
Do you support or oppose using National Guard troops to defend ICE facilities?
Total support, 52, total opposed 43.
Again, same 10-point gap.
It's nine on the second one, but, you know, within the margin of error.
Final question.
Do you agree or disagree with this statement?
We've seen over the last nine months an ongoing.
legal insurrection in which district court judges have issued rulings that are flagrantly
unlawful and unconstitutional. Totally agree. 56. Disagree 31. That's huge. That is a huge
number that most people are not down with these judges trying to derail a president of the United
States. And it's going to come to a head now because of the Chicago situation that I'll get to
in a moment. But first, I want to go to Oregon. And as some of you know, I worked in Portland as an
anchorman in the 80s. I know the town, but it's totally different now than it was. Okay. So while
the Gaza hostage deal was close to fruition,
on Saturday, okay?
I'm sorry, on Sunday, two days ago,
a thousand naked people protested against Donald Trump.
So they didn't care that hostages might be released.
They wanted to ride around Portland protesting Trump's
attempt to deploy the National Guard to the city.
Some of the slogans, end occupation and deportation.
No one is illegal on stolen land.
Wow.
Kick yourself out.
You're an immigrant too.
We're cold, but not as cold as ice.
Skin color is not probable cause.
So these are the Antifa sympathizers.
I don't know if they're Antifa or not.
but they're the ones that hate this country, stolen land, you know, the whole thing.
They're worse than the progressives. They're way more extreme than the John legends of the
world. So that's what they were doing. We're watching the possibility of freedom
for 20 hostages that they were right around naked.
Oregon now spends more money offering free health care to migrants than on the state police.
These are numbers 25 through 27.
Help benefits for illegal aliens in Oregon, $1.5 billion.
Oregon's state police budget, two years, $717 million, almost twice as much money going to undocumented folks for free health care from the state of Oregon.
Now, you'll remember how many left-winger say, oh, no, no money goes for health care for the undocumented.
How many people said that?
And I told you it wasn't true.
I named the eight states that were getting around, game in the system.
Oregon's number one.
Be now California.
Now, somebody's dying.
and I'm going to give them free whatever they need.
That's what I'm going to do.
But a policy to take $1.5 billion tax dollars
when most Oregonians who work
are paying through the nose for health care
and you're giving it to somebody who snuck across the border, free?

Wow.
Oregon.
Now, there's a movement to greater Idaho movement.
It's an eastern Oregon.
They want to dump Oregon and ally themselves with Idaho.
Idaho is a red state.
Some bad news for you guys is not going to happen.
So there's not any way under the Constitution that you can leave Oregon and join Idaho.
You'd have to move to Oregon.
but they're not going to disassemble the state.
Chicago, where are the Guard?
It's 500 National Guard.
Where are they?
Some of these people are Texans.
So they are in Elwood, Illinois, outside of Joliet,
an hour southwest of the Windy City.
What are they doing?
Planning and training, according to
the Northern Command, planning and training.
What does that mean?
They're not doing anything.
They're sitting there.
So the Trump administration isn't bringing them in because a judge, federal judge,
is held that up.
And if he were a dictator and an authoritarian, he would just say, I don't care about
that judge, I'm going to do what I want.
but Trump administration's holding up the guard until the Supreme Court will weigh in.
That should happen pretty soon, okay, because this has been going on since October 8th.
I figure by the end of the month, there's got to be a resolution.
You just can't have these people sitting in Elwood, Illinois, and, you know, when it comes, obviously, it's going to be a big event.
But I expect the Supreme Court will rule because the Trump administration has framed it as we are protecting federal agents.
And since that shootout that we told you about and everything in a Chicago police wouldn't help.
And a woman protestor had a gun in a car and she got shot.
I don't know how to Supreme Court allows that.
So I think I'm going to be right on that one.
Also in Chicago, a number of priests and nuns, Catholics, marched to the ice facility in Cook County.
That's where Chicago is.
The ice facility is outside of town in Maywood, I guess, Illinois.
And then they wanted to give the migrants were being held at the ice facility communion and say a prayer for them,
did them spiritual counseling.
And the ICE people said, no, not letting you in to do it.
So I did a little investigating on my own because I'm Catholic.
Number one, the crew that went to ICE, very liberal crew, but that's fine.
I don't have any problem with liberal theologians, as long as they're sincere and honest.
No problem.
they didn't give the ICE people an advance notice.
And that's what you have to do.
So if you really wanted to bring communion to the migrants,
you would have requested it in writing and done it in an orderly way.
But you didn't want that, did you guys?
Come on, be honest, your priests and nuns.
You wanted a stunt.
That's what you wanted.
I know eight years at Catholic school and the grammar and then Catholic high school.
Okay?
I know what you're up to, but let's be honest about it.
But if they did give ICE a heads up in writing, then I should let some of the priests in to give them communion.
Absolutely.
I believe that the Trump administration would do that.
All right, Pete Hague said, now I told you I did not support his nomination to be defense secular.
She's now Secretary of War.
So Hegsa says, look, we're throwing every reporter out of the Pentagon who doesn't sign a paper that says,
we have to approve whatever the reporter puts out in the newspaper or on television or radio.
Only one news organization agreed, one America.
Every other news organization said, we're not doing that.
So they're all, apparently, Hegg says, throwing them all out of Pentagon.
Not going to be any more reporting from there.
Now, Hex said, is 100% wrong.
This is fascism.
Okay?
And I don't know.
You can't defend it.
You want freedom of the press, even though we don't like a lot of the press.
You can't ban them from the press.
reporting. And that's what Pete Hegseth has done. It's wrong. Back at a moment. Okay, as I told
you the top of program, I'm heading over to the White House for the presidential Medal of
Freedom ceremony. Today would have been Charlie Kirk's 32nd birthday. It's a very kind thing the
president is doing. His widow, Erica, will receive the award.
don't know the Kirk's.
I'm not in that world.
But I was invited to go, and I'm going to do it as a reporter.
And I think it's a worthy effort to honor the Kirk family.
