Starting point is 00:00:00 Hey, Hello, Riley here. Welcome to the No Spin News on Wednesday, September 25, 2004, stand up for your country. So a busy program today, President Biden on the View, that was amusing. PBS presenting a fraud last night on front line. We paid for it. You and me and all the good working people who get taxed. We paid for that fraud. Where do you hear this?
Starting point is 00:00:39 It's amazing. I got notes here that I took on this. They're written down or scrolled down, but I'm going to read my notes because I want to be very precise when I analyze this frontline thing. And that is the subject of this evening's Talking Points memo. So every four years since 1988, the PBS series Frontline creates a documentary called The Choice, where they give you profiles of the two people running for president.
Starting point is 00:01:11 So last night they presented Donald Trump and Kamala Harris. But presented really wasn't the right word. So they had about 20 people on the documentary that hates Donald Trump, that hate Donald Trump, disparaged Donald Trump. Throw them up. I'm going to read you the name. This is crazy. Mary Trump, if you can believe it, was on there.
Starting point is 00:01:37 Jonathan Carly, ABC, David Marcus, Mark Fisher, Louise Sunshine, Tony Schwartz, Marie Brenner, Timothy O'Brien, Michael D. Antonio, Barbara Ress, Gwenda Blair, John Bolton, Anthony Scaramucci, Noah Beerman, Peter Baker, Carol Lennig. So all of them, all of them, have disparaged Trump. They're all in the same front line dock. Now, how many have disparaged Kamala Harris? How many people do they have? That would be none.
Starting point is 00:02:07 None. All right. Now, they did have Gingrich, New Gingrich, Kellyanne Conway, and Roger Stone, you know, very little airtime. So let's say it's 20 to 3. And here's my review. Okay, so they start with background. Now, I wrote the book, United States of Trump. So I know all about Donald Trump.
Starting point is 00:02:36 And I didn't learn anything from Frontline. They just read my book and put it on the screen. But they distorted a bunch of stuff. So, for example, when they're looking at Trump's upbringing, Trump was the helion, the rebellish guy. And he was. He was a bratty kid. And his father and mother sent in a military school.
Starting point is 00:02:54 That's true. Okay. But Kamala was canonized as saint. I call her St. Joan of Kamala when she was about seven or eight. All right. The sainted child against the hellish Donald Trump. And then they go through it. One of the worst things was that they lay on redlining on Donald Trump,
Starting point is 00:03:15 which means that because the real estate business kept African-Americans out of certain neighborhoods that was called redlining. And Fred Trump, Donald Trump's father, did it. But Donald Trump didn't have anything to do with it because he was too young. He was running around Cincinnati at the time. He wasn't the architect of that. Boom. Frontline, oh, yeah, racist. Back to Kamala. Oh, Kamala was, goes to Toronto. Everybody loved her. Everybody loved her in Oakland. And everybody loved her in Canada. and then they go down the list and they had friend after friend after friend after friend after friend of Kamala Harris, all right, saying she was the greatest person.
Starting point is 00:04:02 I don't mind that. She might have been the greatest kid. No friends of Trump. Nobody. You couldn't drag anybody up. I had a bunch of them. They weren't hard to find. And then they go mentors.
Starting point is 00:04:16 All right. Roy Cohn the devil. all right he's a new york lawyer really evil looking guy all right and then they do bring in willie brown they bring in willie brown who mentored kamala harrison he was former mayor of san francisco former speaker of the house in sacramento okay but they don't say that kamala harris and willie brown were involved with an extramarital affair brown was married they don't say that But then when they switched back to Trump, Donald Trump cheated on his wife. I went, whoa, wait, wait.
Starting point is 00:04:53 Okay, that's true. But what about Willie? He's married. Nothing. Okay? Now I'm laughing. I'm actually in my living room. I'm not laughing cynically either.
Starting point is 00:05:08 I'm going, this is a fraud. This front line is a fraud. And remember, we paid for it. And then they go down the list of how great a public servant Kamala Harris has been. There's no record of that. None. But she was the greatest public servant stood up, this and that, on and on. And then Trump, oh, Trump, no, it's threat to democracy, on and on and on and on.
Starting point is 00:05:37 So you get my drift here. Now, what is serious about this is that when you have, outlet on television, with the exception of Fox News and Newsmax and NewsNation, when you have all of the others in the tank for presidential candidate, it doesn't matter who it is, it reminds me of JFK, JFK, at all the press. When you read Confronting the Press, you'll see that. I open up with Kennedy on a boat with Ben Bradley, the editor of Washington Post, then she moves around, little cocktails, hey, hey, and Kennedy,
Starting point is 00:06:16 got away with murder, with the press. Not literally, but, you know. And now we're back to that. We're back to that. So the thing that really offended me about the front line thing, and I believe that PBS is a dishonest enterprise, top to bottom, okay? It's awful. Mary Trump, Donald Trump's niece has made millions of dollars vilifying him, millions, and they lead with her? Come on. Come on. That would be like taking a conservative commentator on the radio who hates Vice President Harris and leading with him.
Starting point is 00:07:02 But then we never do that. All right, so then we segue on to President Biden, who's in New York City, and he shows up on the view. on the view a few times before. He would never interview with me, and I told you the story about how I face-to-face asked him. So look, your boss, Barack Obama's interview with me three times. What about you? And he goes, I'm never going on the fact or blah, blah, because he knew he couldn't stand up. This is when he was VP. All right. So this is a love fest. And that's fine, by the way. Let's face it, the U.S. economy is under stress. National debt rising, trade war,
Starting point is 00:07:38 shaking the markets. And meanwhile, China is dumping the dollar and stockpiling gold. That's why I protected my savings with physical gold and silver through the only dealer I trust, American Hartford Gold. And you can do this. Get precious metals delivered to your door or place in a tax advantage gold IRA. They'll even help you roll over your existing IRA or 401K, tax and pay. And penalty-free. Hey, I'm Caitlin Becker, the host of the New York Postcast, and I've got exactly what you need to start your weekdays.
Starting point is 00:08:46 Every morning, I'll bring you the stories that matter, plus the news people actually talk about, the juicy details in the worlds of politics, business, pop culture, and everything in between. It's what you want from the New York Post wrapped up in one snappy show. Ask your smart speaker to play the NY Postcast podcast, listen and subscribe on Amazon Music, Apple Podcast, Spotify, or wherever you get your podcasts. I'm not objecting to, I wouldn't object the front line being a fraud if I wasn't paying for it. That's my primary objection here. Don't tell me public broadcasting. You're honest. You're not. You're not. So ABC News runs the view. It's not an entertainment program. ABC News runs it. So if you're going to put Biden on the view, ABC News, then you've got to give Trump an hour. and have somebody who loves Trump on your staff interview him wait there isn't
Starting point is 00:09:45 anybody at ABC who loves Trump so maybe you bring Sean Hannity in or he do it with somebody like that who really likes the former president no yeah can see that anyway it was a smoochorama love fest here is sound by one go I stepped down because I started thinking about it you know it's hard to think I know you're only 30, but it's hard to think of, it's hard for me to even say how old I am. No, I'm serious. I don't know what you're doing. I give my word.
Starting point is 00:10:21 It's like, holy God, that can't be right. No, that's not why he isn't running. He didn't step down, and it wasn't because he finally realized he's 82. He knew he was 82 when he ran four years ago. at 78, but he was really 82, because now he's really 86. But he was booted, and it's documented. Nancy Pelosi went in and said, look, you either step aside or the Democratic Party is going to pull all your support.
Starting point is 00:10:55 That's what happened. So there is going, oh, no, I stepped down because I finally realized that maybe I should give the younger people a chance. What a bunch of malarkey to steal a word from Joe. And then they go, ah, ha, ha, ha, ha. You know, again, if you're an entertainment show, you can do whatever you want to do. I don't care. But don't put yourself up, ABC News.
Starting point is 00:11:24 It's an honest broadcast. You're not. Here's sound by two. Trump is, um... Hmm. Careful. There's not a lot of social redeeming. value there he really does not believe in democracy and the guardrails that our system is set up
Starting point is 00:11:52 for the abuse of power no all right fine that's their line okay now in the beginning he lost a strain of thought but he didn't know really where to go with it and that's what you saw in the debate. And then Joy Behar, you think? But again, they were a perfect right to spout whatever they want to spout. I predict that Donald Trump will get at least 65 million votes in November. He could get far more than that. But that'll be the, that's his baseline, 65 million. That means that 65 million Americans are too stupid to know what Joe Biden knows that Trump is a threat to democracy. I think I'm a pretty smart guy, all right?
Starting point is 00:12:43 I got a bunch of degrees. I don't think he's a threat to democracy. He governed for four years in a traditional way. I think he made a huge mistake with the election, and on January 6 he didn't act quickly enough. But I have no trouble voting for Donald Trump. I don't think that the Supreme Court's going to wind up in a penitentiary, okay?
Starting point is 00:13:05 Okay. You know, that's just me. And that's a memo. Okay, Joe Biden is talking to the Secretary General of Vietnam. I'd love to sit on on that conversation. Then he's going to the Metropolitan Museum of Art tonight for some kind of reception. That means money in their pocket. Kamala Harris is in Pittsburgh. Five days she took off in the campaign, and we don't know why. I wish we did. And then she's going on on MSNBC tonight for an interview with Stephanie Ruhl. So that's like being interviewed by your mom. Oh, hello, would you like some pie?
Starting point is 00:13:49 So that's where Joe, that's where Kamala Harris is. So she can say, no, I did interviews. Hi. And Trump's in North Carolina where he should be because, yeah, this crazy guy running for governor, that's not going to help Trump in North Carolina, he needs that state. So you've got to get there and he can't be saying good things about that guy either. Because that's not good. That whole thing is bad. Okay, so let's move the story ahead.
Starting point is 00:14:25 A columnist for the New York Post named Miranda DeBine is not a fan of Biden. I think that's clear by her writing. But she backs up a lot of what she says, which is what all I need. I don't care who you're a fan up. As long as you back it up, okay? She has a new book out, The Big Guy, How a President and his son sold out America. She joins us now from New York City. So for people who don't know, the New York Post is vilified for putting the contents of Hunter
Starting point is 00:15:05 Biden's laptop in the paper and saying they were true when you had 51 national security experts saying it was Russian disinformation, on and on. And we all know the story. And the New York Post was born out to be the truth teller. The others should be very embarrassed. They're not, but they should be because they were misleading. We all know that Biden, on numerous occasions, enabled his son to make millions of dollars by doing nothing. Hunter Biden, didn't provide any service at all. All this is documented. What I want to talk to you about, where does it go now? So it doesn't seem to me that either Hunter or Joe Biden are going to be held accountable for any of this, what say you? Well, Hunter is having some measure of accountability
Starting point is 00:15:58 bill, and thanks for having me on too, because if it hadn't been for those IRS whistleblowers, he would not have had to plead guilty as he just did in California for these tax felonies and he'll get jail time, I'm told, and then his father will pardon him. And he would not have been charged in Delaware with gun crimes and been convicted there. So, look, that is certainly surprising to him because he's gotten away with Blue murder his entire life. His father has always protected him. All right, let me stop you, though. Let me push back on this. he's getting away with it.
Starting point is 00:16:36 Because, number one, all right, he may get a fine in the tax beef, but his buddy out in L.A. will probably pay that because he's been paying all his bills up to now. So Hunter is walking away with $10 million and his uncle James, same thing. A lot of money. Okay. Number two, as you rightly pointed out, Joe Biden will pardon his son. So he's not going to spend any jail time.
Starting point is 00:17:05 It's not going to be anything. You just go back to doing what he does, whatever that may be. Am I wrong? Yeah. No, you're right. But, I mean, at least he's been hauled before a court of law and has been proven to be, you know, a wrongdoer and a liar. And Joe Biden, you know, in court, the Hunter Biden laptop was brandished.
Starting point is 00:17:26 I watched it be walk across the room with the prosecutor and be shown to the jury and shown to the FBI witness who verified. that that was what it was. And Hunter Biden's lawyers have been pretending that that's not his laptop or that it's Russian disinformation and so on. And I think really the most important thing in terms of accountability
Starting point is 00:17:46 is not really the Bidens. I mean, you know, corrupt politicians have been around for a long time and America survives them. I think the real problem is the cabal of CIA, FBI, State Department, IRS, Department of Justice, people who have protected Joe Biden and Hunter Biden. But they're all going to get away with it.
Starting point is 00:18:09 Some of them have got sanctioned. But look, when you look at this in totality, all right, from top to bottom, a vice president of the United States sold his influence to enrich his son and brother. That's what happened. Now, you're right. To China. To China, to Russia, remember the mayor of Moscow, to Ukraine, on and on. Now, in researching my book, confronting the presidents, that has happened before. All right, U.S. Grant. He had his brother amassing a fortune by stealing from Native Americans. It happened in many administrations, Warren Harding, my God, all right.
Starting point is 00:19:01 But it looks like nothing is going to happen to Joe Biden. If you watch the view and you didn't know anything about American politics today, you would have thought this guy was Abraham Lincoln when he walked out on that stage today. It was crazy. But don't you think that Joe Biden's image has been quite sad? savagely tarnished because his son left that laptop in that laptop repair shop. By some, but certainly not by the corporate media, not by the corporate media. True, but half the country knows the truth about Joe Biden,
Starting point is 00:19:37 that he's not honest Joe from Scranton. He's not the poorest man in Congress. I'll see that half the country understands that. Now, here's the most important question I'm going to ask you. There were two committees run by Republicans that looked deeply into Vice President Biden selling his influence. They could not come up with the cliche smoking gun. They couldn't do it. They came up with circumstantial evidence all day long.
Starting point is 00:20:09 I believe that Biden sold his influence. You believe he sold his influence, but they couldn't nail him. Why? Because I think that it was a mistake for them to go looking for a money trail to Joe Biden. You know, you can be guilty of bribery if your family member takes the money. And there's no doubt that Joe Biden's extended family got money from China and Russia and all those countries and that they disguised it. That's well established.
Starting point is 00:20:41 And I think it was a strategic error for James Comer and Jordan and the rest of them. to think that they were going to find some smoking gun. Joe Biden's not stupid. He has been doing this for 50 years. He's not going to leave a money trail for people to find. But there was a trail, and that is the title of your book. The Big Guy. We have to set aside 10% for the big guy.
Starting point is 00:21:11 Power, politics, and the people behind the headlines. I'm Miranda Devine. blog post columnist and the host of the brand new podcast, Podforce One. You can find us at Apple Podcasts, Spotify,
Starting point is 00:22:24 or wherever you get your podcast. This is what Hunter Biden wrote. Did you advance that story any? Yeah, it was what Hunter Biden wrote, but that deal never came through. It never came to fruition. It fell apart with the Chinese. And, you know, Joe Biden denies that he received any money
Starting point is 00:22:46 and various witnesses have appeared and said that, no, he didn't get that 10%. But, you know, there were a few checks that went to Joe Biden, $250,000 after one deal, $250,000 after another from his brother, Jim. But they were portrayed as loan repayments, and there's no evidence to say that they weren't. But again, Joe Biden benefits when he doesn't have to pay tuition to Ivy League colleges for his son's Hunter and Bo because Hunter was paying it through the grace and favor payments that he got from Joe Biden's donors. Joe Biden benefits when he buys a DuPont mansion at a cheap price.
Starting point is 00:23:28 He benefits when he gets land and he gets this house built at cut price. You know, he lives like the Great Gatsby and he has no discernible income to fund that lifestyle. And so you can only surmise from the amount of money he makes and the IRS investigators did try, who became whistleblowers, did try to follow the money trail and the evidence trail where it led to Joe Biden, but they were obstructed again by this cover-up
Starting point is 00:24:02 by the Department of Justice that made it hands-off. You could not ask about Joe. There's no doubt about it. Yeah. And sadly, this has happened more than a few times in the vice president, president precincts. The book is The Big Guy, our president, his son sold out America,
Starting point is 00:24:19 Miranda, DeVine. Thanks to her talk a list, Miranda, and good luck. I think you and I will be on the bestseller list at the same time. That'll be fun, right? It'll be great. And thanks for having me on.
Starting point is 00:24:29 Sure, it's my pleasure. It's a wonderful to be with you. Thank you. Let's take a look at the latest CNN poll. All right. This is 2074 registered voters. Fair. Democrats 32, Republicans 34, Independence 34, would not tell us the gender breakdown.
Starting point is 00:24:47 CNN, you got to put that gender breakdown out there. First question, who are you going to vote for? So Harris, Walls, 48, Trump, Vance, 47, dead heat. Absolute dead heat. By race, okay, white Americans voting for Harris, Walls, 41. Trump Vance, 53, pretty big. Black Americans, Harris Walls, 79, Trump Vance 16. Latino, Harris Walls 59, Trump Vance 40.
Starting point is 00:25:25 Now, I've seen other polls where it's a tie. So that's a low number in the CNN poll for Latino voters, which, who will, I believe, have a profound influence on the election. gender, all right, men, Harris Walls 43, Trump fans, 52. Women, Harris Walls 53, Trump fans 43, almost exactly the same but conversed. So women, and abortion is part of that, no doubt, are supporting Harris and men are supporting Trump. but it's pretty darn close. All right.
Starting point is 00:26:09 Independence, Harris Walls, 45, Trump fans, 41. Yeah, that's a hard one right there. Two more. Is your vote more for Kamala or against Trump? For Harris, 60 against Trump, 40. That's an enormous number, right? And that's what it's about. Is your vote more for Trump or against Harris?
Starting point is 00:26:39 Vote for Trump, 72, 12 points higher than Harris, against Harris, 28. All right. Interesting, Paul. The gender thing bothers me, CNN. You've got to get at that. We've got to give the folks a pretty good view of what is happening. Now, the Biden-Harris administration, in my opinion, has caused great harm. harm to this country. All right. I'm sorry. I'm a historian. I evaluated all 45 presidents in
Starting point is 00:27:10 confronting the president's great harm. I'll give you one more. This isn't talked about much. In the three and a half years since they've been in power, the federal debt has gone up $7 trillion. Record. Record amount outside of war. Okay. Right now, all right, the federal debt is 100% of the gross domestic product. That hasn't happened since World War II. The spending is massive, massive spending. All right. When they took over Biden Harris, we were paying $352 billion in interest. We the people, the United States of America. Now it's more than a trillion dollars. Unsustainable. This means the economy is going to collapse if this keeps going on. And the dollar will as well. And that'll be lead to violence. American economy collapses to be violence.
Starting point is 00:28:09 Now, keep that in mind. This isn't inevitable. It's not going to happen tomorrow. You can't keep doing this. What is Kamala Harris campaigning on? Okay. Well, she wants to give $25,000. Give that money to first-time homebuyers and even more for first-generation home buyers. You imagine, that's trillions of dollars. Here, here, like that. Now, as an insurer, the person getting the 25K is going to be able to pay the mortgage. So that's just a rank giveaway. Can't do it.
Starting point is 00:28:47 Can't afford it. You have to disband the military to afford that. Okay? Second thing, she wants a 50,000 tax deduction for startup small business. Well, everybody will have a startup small business. Oh, I get a 50,000. 50,000 tax deduction? I'm starting a business.
Starting point is 00:29:05 Just because you start a business, don't mean you're in business. You can start it. O'Reilly's Lemonade. Put a little stand out at the end of my driveway. And I have an urchin standing there going, hey, it's a business. $50,000 tax credit. Okay, this is insane. All right.
Starting point is 00:29:25 And finally, she wants to cancel medical debt for any federal employee who borrowed to pay medical expenses or who got into trouble somehow. And that's, again, that's like the college tuition, which the Supreme Court said, ah, no. But if she would implement all of this, Kamala Harris, then we go bankrupt. But that's what the progressives want. If the country goes bankrupt, then the federal government, just like the Great Depression, Franklin Delano Roosevelt, this again, confronting the president. If the country goes bankrupt, the federal government comes in and controls the entire economy, controls the private marketplace, tells you what you can have, what you can't have, what companies can charge, what they can't charge, how they're
Starting point is 00:30:21 marketed, what's on the market, that's what socialists want. the government controlling the economy. So they don't care whether they bankrupt the country. You getting this? This is important. I would say 85% of the electorate in this country has no blank an idea what I just told you. And sadly, most of them don't care. It's way beyond them.
Starting point is 00:30:55 and they don't care. But I know what Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, Kamala Harris, Biden's out of it. He's no idea. But I know what they want to do. They want the U.S. economy to tank so the feds can take it over. It's true. Okay. We have Nancy Pelosi.
Starting point is 00:31:20 He doesn't have to worry about any money because her husband Paul has a husband, ranked in $30 million in tax profits. Okay, whoa. Nancy, you want probably the most powerful Democrat outside of the White House. 30 million, Paul, that's pretty good, pretty good. The latest is Visa in early July this summer. Paul sold half million dollars with the visa of stock and three a few weeks later uh visa was charged with antitrust violations ooh just a coincidence right just a coincidence so he did this before Microsoft um he bought and then the u.s army disclosed that they were going to buy uh headsets from Microsoft's the soccer way up. Okay. So, come on. You just heard about Biden and all the
Starting point is 00:32:27 money he made, V&B, Speaker of the House Pelosi and Paul Pelosi, raking it in. But I know it's just a coincidence, right? Smart Life. So study by the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey, one in 10 of the 6,000 participants in the study is obese. Women nearly twice as likely to be way overweight than men, okay? Now if you're obese, you're going to die young. You don't see a lot of 80-year-old people 150 pounds overweight. You're going to die, so I don't want you to die. It's not that hard to take off the weight.
Starting point is 00:33:19 Now they have drugs. Oprah was using one of them, all right? I'm not a big drug guy. I would never use it because there's going to be side effects to that. Here's what you do if you're Zoftig. All right, word of the day, Z-O-F-T-I-G. First thing you do, cut out all the sugar drinks, every one of them. So I, today for lunch, had gold boned.
Starting point is 00:33:46 non-ice tea, no sugar. It was fine. I drink ice, okay? It's a carbonated beverage, no sugar. And there are plenty of them. Now, you got to sample them because a lot of them have after tastes. I can't drink that zero Coke or whatever. I can't drink that. All right, or Diet Coke, they're not even good for you. But there are a lot of natural beverages on a market. So that's number one. You have to knock. out the sugar drinks. Number two, you've got to limit the desserts. Now, you've got to live your life. All right? So I eat between two and three desserts a week. That's not punitive. And again, there are very low sugar desserts that taste great. And when I'm hungry during the day, I eat
Starting point is 00:34:39 nuts, cashews or almonds or whatever you like, peanuts. It fills you right up. you have some cashews in a glass of water, you're not hungry. Boom, knocks it right out. Because you don't want to be nibbling on the sugar stuff all day. So you get the drinks out, you get the sugar snacks out, you get the desserts down two, three times. You just see that way peel off. And then just go out for a walk every day or every other day.

Starting point is 00:35:58 blathering about what you believe to anybody without any context, you're going to get hurt. Don't do it. Very interesting guy. Will it take? But I'm not a corporate creature. I'm not. I'm so much happier than I'm now running corporations. I'm never comfortable in that corporate culture. Why is that? Fox News, and I got, I made money for all of them, lots of money, but I wasn't a guy who was
Starting point is 00:36:51 going to come in and take orders from idiots. I was willing to do that. And by the way, happy belated birthday. You just had a birthday. Thank you. And you're a Virgo.
