Now the lead story is a meeting in the White House today, this morning, between Donald Trump and Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, and a bunch of other people.
This is good. It shows that the government is at least cooperating at some level, and they all agreed that $2 trillion will be spent in the future on the nation's infrastructure.
Okay. Now, I'm not going to be cynical, but what this means is airports, bridges, highways, and all the assemblage around that.
Certainly we need that, but we also have a mechanism right now to pay for it. Gasoline taxes, airport taxes, ticket taxes, taxes, taxes.
But you know what? It never seems to be enough, does it?
ever. In a million years, is it going to be enough? So, $2 trillion, and of course, nobody knows
how to pay for it. Now, you could borrow, I guess, two trillion more. You've got $22 trillion in debt,
but this is going to become a crisis if you don't start paying that debt down. Have record,
record amounts of money going into Washington, D.C., taxes, record more than ever before.
yet go to the airports. Most of them are slums. Driving on the highway, some are all right,
some are horrible. New York State, horrible. California roads were okay when I was out there last
week. Do a lot of construction on the roads, people working. But all right, I'm going to give
them a pass today. I want the two parties to work together. Infrastructure is important. I do not
believe that the government can fine $2 trillion. I do believe they'll have to raise the price
of gasoline taxes again. That's what I believe is going to happen. So the working people
going to pay more and more and more in the form of taxation. And as I told you, it had to be
six months ago. Joe Biden, it's his to lose. It's his to lose. And if anybody thinks that the other
people are going to overwhelm Vice President Biden, you're crazy. They're not. As long as there's
not something that Biden did that comes out, Biden's going to get the nomination. And why do I say
that? Because the money people inside the Democratic Party, the real big donors, they know that
none of these radical people can beat Donald Trump. They know that. Bernie Sanders has no shot.
So let's take a quick break, and we'll be back with some mail.
Roll it.

Biden looks as if he's simply going through the motions.
His crowds are not enthusiastic.
He looks as if he prefers to be out there.
Well, who else?
Who's going to beat him?
In the field now, as I went over, Brian,
there's nobody going to beat him.
It's his.
Unless Michelle Obama gets in,
or Oprah, Oprah quit 60 minutes.
Maybe Oprah get in.
I don't know.
But now?
He doesn't even have to campaign he'd win the nomination.
Cindy on a message board bill, you're right about taxation in California.
I'm moving out of here because every utility I've signed up for, including cable adds 10% taxes or more.
Hotels add 20%.
And now they're talking about adding a climate change taxation on restaurant bills.
Climate change taxation, wait do you see it.
Very good, Cindy.
That's the next thing.
Coming on everything, not just restaurant bills.
Climate change taxation.
John Doughty, Indianapolis, Mr. O'Reilly is wondering about Medicare for All.
I've worked 57 years paying into Social Security and Medicare.
Now the Dems want to give it to everyone totally ignoring those of us who would pay.
That's right.
That's right.
And your, as you point out in your letter, John, your benefits will be diminished because of it.
It's exactly what they're.
want to do. Ted King, mineral oil, taxes have been following you for many years, Bill.
Just wanted to thank you for your dedication to the little people like me, Ted, Ted.
There I know little people. You know little people. We're all the same. Now, I know you don't
guys don't believe that. But if you're Christian, you have to. That's tenant number one,
Judeo-Christian philosophy. We're all the same. And in the United States, everybody's got a vote.
Same vote.
We're all the same.
No little people.
Let's take another break.
Be back with the final thought of the day.
And that will be about kids and screen time.
The Machines.
Roll it.

I found a thought, Diane Sawyer, know her, but not a friend.
I mean, not an enemy.
Nor I worked at ABC when she was there.
A nice woman.
Never had any problems with her.
on Friday, this coming Friday, she's going to have a two-hour special, Diane Sawyer reporting
about kids and screen time, technology, social media, the effects on children. So if you don't have
two hours to watch Diane, I can tell you right now in about a minute what's going on. Most American
kids are addicted to the machine, all right? So they have to have this, have to.
because they communicate with their little friends on this,
texting, Instagram, all of that.
This is it.
They have to have it.
Take it away from them, you're isolating them socially.
But in the meantime, they play their games, they listen to their music.
They do sometimes bad things, because they can access bad things on it.
But it's always there.
And outside in California, I had three urchins with me and a couple of adults.
We got to say, hey, look out the window where at Big Sur, the most beautiful place in California, put the machines down.
And I made them. They had to. So they had to see.
